"There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who
agree with me — because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t — look, if you’ve been
successful, you didn’t get there on your own.
You didn’t get there on your own.
I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was
just so smart. There are a lot of smart
people out there. It must be because I
worked harder than everybody else. Let
me tell you something — there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there."
and
"If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you
some help. There was a great teacher
somewhere in your life. Somebody helped
to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to
thrive. Somebody invested in roads and
bridges. If you’ve got a business — you
didn’t build that. Somebody else made
that happen. The Internet didn’t get
invented on its own. Government research
created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the
Internet." [emphasis mine]
Just a reminder, the biggest boost to the economy during the Clinton years is he signed off on Welfare Reform, employment went up, with more people working, revenues to the government went up. Not because taxes went up on the wealthiest.

Lots of Dems believe and say the money you earn is the
government's, and the government decides what you can keep. That's turning out
to be true with ObamaTax, aka ObamaCare and $billions in new regulations on businesses. Only a man\child with no accomplishments of his own would believe such a thing, let alone say it. This is the result of being pampered and coddled and telling him he's wonderful all his life, then promoted by some obviously rich Marxists that pay paved his road to the White House.
From high school student, to college student, to Ivy League college student, to post grad Ivy League, to "community organizer" (how much does that pay?), to State senator, to US Senator, to president. No effort, no set backs, in investments, no papers, no tax returns, no nothing. Yet, he has the temerity to tell those the sacrificed, invested time and money that their success is the results of others. Added to that call his opponent a felon for not releasing all of his tax returns and details of all his business dealings. I'm too disgusted by this pampered lying lazy crybaby.
