Glenn Beck: Cars.gov allows government to takeover your computer

Are some of you still not getting just a little concerned yet about what this government is up to? Do you really believe your liberties are not being taken, intentionally?

Reading Doris Day bio has put me in the mood for big band and swing. Plus when I was a kid, clarinet was my instrument, and I still love it.

Funny Commercial (vid)

Don't know about funniest commercial ever, but I'll use the image to cheer me up when I'm in a store and the kid(s) are out of control. I wonder, like so many of us seasoned citizens, why kids are allowed to get away with it? Anyone over fifty remember being anything but being silent when in public with the parents?

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Get Stimulus Money to Stimulate

Ah yes, the stimulus package, Porkulas I. Supposed to stimulate the economy, which it hasn't; but part of the money is going to stimulate something. It's going to support "Thundercrack! "the world's only underground kinky art porno horror film, complete with four men, three women and a gorilla." Of course the "gay and lesbian film house," which showed "Thundercrack!" will get some stimulus bucks. Gotta support the "arts" don't ya know.

There is money going to support museums, orchestras, and the like; but tell me again how even this gins up the American Economic Engine? They are producing what, or providing what service?

Let's see, how else can we jump start the economy (six months later with no results so far)? Ah, here you go; San Francisco's CounterPULSE, has a "long-running pansexual performance series", and they invite you to "join your fellow pervs for some explicit, twisted fun." The name of this rollicking fun time, supported by printed or borrowed tax money, is called "Perverts Put Out".

NEA spokeswoman Victoria Hutter: "Our review process is very comprehensive — we take great care with applicants and with grantees." "It's a thorough, rigorous process that they all go through, and we're proud of the projects that we've been able to support."

So lets all take our kids to see the government supported "The Symmetry Project", which apparently Ms Hutter approves of, of a dance piece by choreographer Jess Curtis. The show depicts "the sharing of a central axis, [as] spine, mouth, genitals, face, and anus reveal their interconnectedness and centrality in embodied experience." I even have a hard time reading that!

I guess in the name of consistency this would be a parenting suggestion from a “well-trained and competent staff” member visiting your home under Section 440 of the ObamaCare bill. Maybe the competent staff member can get you a free pass to "The Symmetry Project"! It's government sponsored, just like the government visitors to your home to ensure you are using the latest cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains…modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices; [and] skills to raise your child.

Naw...They Ain't Takin' Away Any of My Liberties

That they aren't taking away your liberties may be be true in this case...if you don't have kids. By the people that brought you public education that moves kids along that are functionally illiterate, have no knowledge of history, or much else, we get "Home Visitation Programs for Families with Young Children and Families Expecting Children", section 440 of the Obamacare bill.

This would mandate a “well-trained and competent staff”, from the state (of course working for the STATE) to "…provide parents with knowledge of age-appropriate child development in cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor domains…modeling, consulting, and coaching on parenting practices; [and] skills to interact with their child…".

Of course it's voluntary. I bet you can name at least a couple government programs that started out voluntary, and now you pretty much have to comply or pay a fine...even maybe go to jail.

Are you ready for government agents coming into your house to make sure you are abiding by State defined parenting practices? That they will do this is stipulted in the bill.

First they came for the...then they came for the...and by the time they got to me...

Neighborhood Watch Can Get You A Lot Of Grief

The woman that called in the possible break in of racist professor Gates home, has been, not surprisingly, called a racist by leftist blogs and media. That charge was based on the accusation that when she called 911 she said a black man or men were breaking in.

Problem is, she never said it. Like Obama popping off not knowing what happened, race baiter's and race hustlers popped off and hadn't even heard the call. The police report (a summary of the event) said two black men were involved; she didn't say it. She said, when asked by the 911 operator, that she thought one of the men might be Hispanic (she has Portuguese ancestry herself).

Lucia Whalen, the good citizen that was helping protect her neighbor: "The criticism at first was so painful I was frankly afraid to say anything. People called me racist. Some even said threatening things that made me fear for my safety," "I knew the truth, but I didn't speak up right away because I did not want to add to the controversy."

"I am proud to have been raised by two loving parents who instilled in me values including love one another, be kind to strangers and do not judge people based on race, ethnicity or any other feature than their character."

"I was called racist and I was a target of scorn and ridicule because of the things I never said." "The criticism hurt me as a person, but it also hurt the community of Cambridge."

"I've had much reflection on that, and, yes, I would make the call." "If you're a concerned citizen, you should do the right thing."

The professor and the president should show so much grace. Neither of them did the right thing, and both made judgments based on race.

Harry and Movies

Went and saw Harry Potter and his wizard friends and enemies today. Fun stuff. It was slow paced, and it heartens me that kids will read through and sit through this series of books and movies. It' a good story with a huge amount of detail. Innovative and creative, which is rare in films now.

No, I won't harken back to the days when men were men, and women were women, and movies were movies. I'm just stunned by the lack of creativity in film. We have cartoons brought to life; X-men, Spiderman, Transformers. All fun, but they are, after all, cartoons. Then Hollywood gets a movie people like, and they spawn like giant fleas. Star Trek and lots of sequels, Night at the Museum and sequel, the anti-Christian Da Vinci stuff, then back to cartoons with the "Ice Age" franchise, followed by remakes of the "Land of the Lost", and "The Taking of Pelam 1 2 3". The remakes are of 'B' movies, so I guess maybe there's room for improvement, but the plots are so lame I don't really think so.

I read much, and there's some great stuff out there. Hollywood needs to learn how to read. I remember a discussion with my brother about records, about if anyone puts together a concept album anymore (like The Moody Blues, Jethro Tull and The Who did, to name some). No, not going to happen, because the hit is the thing, the sound that will put money in the pockets of the execs. It's not about the music. The movies, it now appears, is all about the execs and income. It was why United Artists was formed; to put the art back in film and curtail the execs. It lasted a little while. Sure I enjoy this new generation of flicks. They're fun. It's just been a lot of years since I've walked out of a movie awed by the story. I've been touched, moved, emotionally engaged, but it's been awhile since I've walked out at the end surprised and enthralled.

The last two movies that totally captured me was "Atanarjuat: The Fast Runner" (2002)and "Mongol" (2007).

So Ya Like That Beefy Mush Burger and Fries?

My leftist friends that support the current socialist takeover of America say their personal liberties aren't being taken away. I know these guys eat take out, drink soda, and consume other food and drink not exactly healthy for you. There's growing support, in the Statist congress, and especially among the food police, to lay in heavy taxes on foods they think you, citizen, should not be eating. Reports I've seen so far are talking about at least a 10% tax on soda or any 'sugary' drink to start. It was tried before with take out burgers and failed. Now the food police are back with more support because congress needs more taxes to finance the unsupportable Obamacare.

The model the food police are using this time is the tobacco road. Sue into submission.
I propose that every overweight Statist politician that supports this has to go to a fat farm until he/she obtains their target BMI.

Sadly, there's no way to reduce what's between their ears, the fatheads.

The Racist Prof, The Cop and Niall of the Nine Hostages

Henry Louis Gates Jr., the racist black professor that got in the face yelling racist epithets at the cop Sgt. James Crowley while he was trying to investigate a reported break in, have something in common it turns out. Gates was on a PBS program about African American ancestry, and through DNA found out he's the descendant of an Irish immigrant and a slave girl.

The DNA markers showed he was a descendant of Niall of the Nine Hostages, a ninth century warlord. Sgt Crowley is also descended from Niall. Obama has Irish ancestry too.

They are all meeting for a beer at the White House. Three Irishmen, and beer.

Fascinating.

Quotable Quotes on Rights & Gov't Control

"Isn't the point of the Democrats' push to reform the health care system based on establishing health care as a right? That's what the politicians say of course. But in reality the result will be the exact opposite. Part of the problem is that most Americans don't understand what a right is. A right is not a guarantee that the government (i.e., other people) will provide you something for free. We have the right to engage in religious expression, but that doesn't mean that the government pays for the construction of the church. We have the right to peacefully assemble, but the government doesn't promise to supply your transportation. You have the right to keep and bear arms, but don't expect the government to provide you with a free firearm and bullets. You have the right to free speech, but the government won't grant you free radio or TV air time. What makes something a right is not whether the government can force somebody else to pay for it. What defines something as a right is whether the government can or cannot prohibit you from doing it. (President Obama notoriously called these 'negative liberties'.) If the government can't stop you from doing it, then it's a right." --columnist Rich Hrebic

"Suffice it to say that if government attempts to control our total medical spending, sooner or later, it will have to control us. ... Like the politicians, most people are oblivious to F.A. Hayek's insight that the critical information needed to run an economy -- or even 15 percent of one -- doesn't exist in any one place where it is accessible to central planners. Instead, it is scattered piecemeal among millions of people. All those people put together are far wiser and better informed than Congress could ever be. Only markets -- private property, free exchange and the price system -- can put this knowledge at the disposal of entrepreneurs and consumers, ensuring the system will serve the people and not just the political class. This is no less true for medical care than for food, clothing and shelter. ... The belief that [politicians] can take care of us is rank superstition. Who will save us from these despots? What Adam Smith said about the economic planner applies here, too: The politician who tries to design the medical marketplace would 'assume an authority which could safely be trusted, not only to no single person, but to no council or senate whatever, and which would nowhere be so dangerous as in the hands of a man who had folly and presumption enough to fancy himself fit to exercise it.'" --John Stossel

Re: Mid-year status, challenges ahead

Here we are, just past the half-way mark in 2009, so I wanted to give you all a general business update, and let everybody know how things look from my chair.

So far, ’09 is on track to be one of our best years since they dismantled the Gulag, and it’s largely thanks to your hard work. The Che Guevera T-shirt sales continue to bring in revenue. While we took a hit when Madoff went out of business, Senator Dodd assures me that our other ventures are secure.

This year, several of our important client relationships have really blossomed. Hugo Chavez has come into his own as a world-class talent. (Hat-tip to Baal in Recruitment & Development: having Fidel mentor him was pure genius.) And several long-time clients have really stepped up to the plate: Kim, Putin and the mullahs are all on hot streaks.

We continue see residual up-side from the sliming of Sarah Palin last fall. (BTW – Astarte, send Katie Couric some more flowers. And that Purdum guy at Vanity Fair – find out if he likes cigars.)

As an aside, I want to recognize the excellent work of Lilith in Operations. Pushing the pope down in the shower should have produced more than a broken wrist – I mean, the guy’s in his 80s. Don’t worry Lilith, you’ll get him next time!

As always, the Entertainment Division, under the leadership of Moloch, has been exemplary. When “The Family Guy” and Perez Hilton both get Emmy nods, you know you’re in the zone! The only down side for Entertainment is that the “Hot Gay Summer” initiative hasn’t had quite the impact we’d hoped. “Bruno” tanked after the first weekend, and “Humpday” was never going to play well outside L.A., Manhattan and D.C. Still, that Quentin Tarantino flick should see us through until the “Desperate Housewives” season premier in September.

But folks, we have to be thinking long-term. Our longevity depends on the strength of the brand. And frankly, the Mephistopheles brand ID has taken a beating of late.

Partly, it’s because we’re the victims of our own success. Remember “The Screwtape Letters” by that prissy Englishman? Remember how it was a failure for the nephew when the subject went to church? Well, that was dead-on. But we’ve done so well since then at keeping them out of the churches, and getting prayer out of schools, that we’ve hurt ourselves. Even the president of the United States doesn’t feel he needs to belong to a congregation in D.C. Newsweek may see it as a victory, but over time, it’s bad for us. If they don’t believe in God, they don’t believe in me, and all my – our – hard work goes unrecognized.

It doesn’t matter how much we control – Crips, Bloods, mafia, teachers’ unions, MSNBC – if nobody knows we control them. This isn’t a vanity issue folks. Any decent marketing consultant (and as you know, we have more than a few of those on the payroll) will tell you you’ve got to have share-of-mind to keep share-of-wallet. Yet, pardon the pun, I’m not getting my due. It’s been what, 41 years since “Sympathy for the Devil?”

Back in the 70s, Old Saul Alinsky dedicated “Rules for Radicals” to yours truly. Today, his acolytes are in the White House, and the Community Organizer-in-Chief can’t stop making speeches. But how often does the mention me?

You can clearly see how weak the brand has become when the jihad boys (peace be upon them) call America “The Great Satan.” Gimme a break! Oh sure, the Americans are responsible for Jerry Lewis movies and Britney Spears, but “Great Satan?” It’s slanderous.

This is unacceptable. We have a great story to tell, and we’ve got to tell it. We’ve got to underline our accomplishments, and not just the big, historical stuff. Yes, there’s slavery, the Somme, the Holocaust, the Great Leap Forward, Roe V. Wade, etc. But people need to know how we’re making a difference in their lives right now.

Let’s start talking up recent and ongoing initiatives – “The View,” for example. Or reality TV. I didn’t create “The Real World” and “Big Brother” just to let the networks take all the credit. People need to know those are our sleazy, amoral, back-stabbing media trollops on their screens every week.

Gangsta rap – there’s a no-brainer (although I bear some blame there. I should have started my own label when I had the chance). What about the mainstreaming of porn? Every time some 15-year-old puts a video of herself pole-dancing up on YouTube, people should be thinking of us.

We need to get the word out. 50 percent divorce rate? Us. All those out-of-wedlock births? Hello! Pedophile priests – there was a huge success story, and my name wasn’t in a single mainstream media report.

To sum up, even as we’re doing an end-zone dance over the ruins of Western Civilization, our brand is suffering. In the coming weeks, I’m going to be looking to you all for input on how to make Old Scratch top-of-mind again. We’ve already got some good ideas. In fact, Naphula is working with ABC to put together a primetime “town hall” hosted by Diane Sawyer. But we need a concerted, organization-wide plan.

I look forward to working with all of you on this,

Bill.

A(nother) Word on Obamacare

"Just as people use vastly different amounts of gasoline, they also use vastly different amounts of medical care -- especially when an appointment with a highly trained physician costs less than a manicure. Insurance plans that force everyone in the plan to pay for everyone else's Viagra and anti-anxiety pills are already completely unfair to people who rarely go to the doctor. It's like being forced to share gas bills with a long-haul trucker or a restaurant bill with Michael Moore. On the other hand, it's a great deal for any lonely hypochondriacs in the plan. ... You don't have to conjure up fantastic visions of how health care would be delivered in this country if we bought it ourselves. Just go to a grocery store or get a manicure. Or think back to when you bought your last muffler, personal trainer, computer and every other product and service available in inexpensive abundance in this capitalist paradise. ... Isn't food important? Why not 'universal food coverage'? If politicians and employers had guaranteed us 'free' food 50 years ago, today Democrats would be wailing about the 'food crisis' in America, and you'd be on the phone with your food care provider arguing about whether or not a Reuben sandwich with fries was covered under your plan. Instead of making health care more like the DMV, how about we make it more like grocery stores? Give the poor and tough cases health stamps and let the rest of us buy health care -- and health insurance -- on the free market." --Ann Coulter

In the Palm of His Hand

"Look at the world either through a telescope or a microscope and you will be dwarfed into terror by the infinitely great or the infinitely little. Naturalists tell us that there are no two blades of grass alike, and close inspection of a bee's wing under a microscope revels how marvelously it is made. What do I read in the Bible? I read that the God of heaven counts the hairs of our heads, Jesus says so. I read that the mighty God watches the sparrows so intimately that not one of them falls on the ground without His notice. I read that the God who holds the seas in the hollow of His hand and guides the stars in their courses, clothes the grass of the field. Through the love of God in Christ Jesus we are brought into a wonderful intimacy with the infinitely great and the infinitely little." -Oswald Chambers

I'm grateful and full of wonder God cares for us so.

I'm reading, and very much enjoying her bio by David Kaufman.

Hey There Obama (Drink the Kool Aid) - vid

Reducing Obamacare Costs by Reducing the Number of People

As Obamacare bureaucrats take away your right to choose your own doctor, tell you what procedures and operations you can have, and what drugs you can have, it will eventually have rationing of all these things to cut costs. Another cost saving measure, found in the health care bill being forced through congress while much of America is on vacation, is some end of life counseling. No kidding.

After awhile see, you'll become a fiscal burden on Obamacare, so you'll be asked to give up your life for the common welfare. Get thee to a government run hospice. Section 1233 of the health care bill creates government-run "Advance Care Planning Consultation". On page 425, Congress would make it mandatory that every five years people in Medicare will have a required counseling session to advise ways for ending your life. Starting with people on Medicare, there will be "palliative care and hospice" mandatory counseling sessions. Of course that'll be grown to include all the elderly because eventually everyone except the wealthy and federal politicians will be on Obamacare.

From a part of a NY Times interview:

"Interviewer: And it’s going to be hard for people who don’t have the option of paying for it.

THE PRESIDENT: So that’s where I think you just get into some very difficult moral issues. But that’s also a huge driver of cost, right?

I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here.

So how do you — how do we deal with it?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, I think that there is going to have to be a conversation that is guided by doctors, scientists, ethicists. And then there is going to have to be a very difficult democratic conversation that takes place. It is very difficult to imagine the country making those decisions just through the normal political channels. And that’s part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance. It’s not determinative, but I think has to be able to give you some guidance. And that’s part of what I suspect you’ll see emerging out of the various health care conversations that are taking place on the Hill right now."

That group won't be independent, they will be Obamacare employees. Conversations? What conversations? Debate has been shut down in congress, and this legislation is being forced through by Pelosi (she's made schedule and procedural changes to limit debate) and her pals to be completed in six weeks.

Don't you just love it when the government takes away your choices and makes things mandatory?

Yes, We'd Love to Wait in Line for Obamacare

Yes, we the great unwashed would love to wait in line for Obamacare. Will she and fellow congressman be in line with me, or keep their own insurance? By the way, Obama last night launched the first salvo for his takeover of the insurance industry. Taking over AIG was just a warm up.

Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Criticizes Obama

I posted, before I went to work this morning, about the Professor, the Cop and the President. I get home tonight and see, justifiably, Obama under fire for this. It's now the story of the day; well, maybe except for the whoppers he told last night about Obamacare. The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), responded to Obama's comment that the police acted "stupidly". Jim Pasco, executive director of the FOP's legislative office, noted Obama didn't even know what happened, yet felt compelled to comment. Pasco: "That being the case, it's unfortunate that he chose to say anything." "He wasn't there, and he doesn't know what happened." I have to wonder what the president of the US is doing commenting at all on a local police matter.

From "Audacity of Hope";
"There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs," he wrote. "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

From "Dreams Dreams of My Father";
"The emotion between the races could never be pure,” “Even love was tarnished by the desire to find in the other some element that was missing in ourselves. Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, the other race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart."

"There was something about him that made me wary,” Obama wrote. "A little too sure of himself, maybe. And white"

"That hate hadn't gone away"...."white people — some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives."

Without any knowledge of what happened in Cambridge, Obama slammed the white police and sided with the black law breaker.

Any wonder?

The Cop, The Professor, The President

In Cambridge a woman sees a man breaking into a house and calls the police. They get there, and the guy, instead of complying starts yelling at and not complying with the police requests, so they arrest him.

It turns out the guy is Henry Louis Gates Jr., a black racist Harvard professor, breaking into his own house. The police were there to protect his house, and now he's saying they gave him grief only because he was black, and is demanding an apology from the arresting officer. He was arrested for disorderly conduct. He initially refused to show his ID, allegedly saying, “this is what happens to a black man in America” and “you don’t know who you’re messing with” before he was arrested, and police said he was uncooperative. Charges have been dropped, and the officer refuses to apologize...good for him. He followed protocols, the racist professor had refused to cooperate and made this a national issue. He's a friend of Obama. Great time to get in the limelight.

Our Dear Leader weighed in after his health care propaganda speech: "Cambridge police acted stupidly in arresting somebody when there was already proof he was in own home." Obama also commented that he didn't know all the facts of the case.

Being a racist himself, Obama's initial reflex tells true. He sided with the racist Gates before he had the facts.

Nationalized Healthcare-Vid

This is a bit long, about twenty minutes, but well worth the watch. It shows some guys trying to get treatment in Canada. Funny and informative...well worth the watch, so instead of that sitcom tonight, please watch this. This could be a comedy except the results aren't so funny.

Communion and Swine Flu

The Church of England, because of swine flu, had changed its method of communion and is not sharing the chalice. Some Catholic churches are doing the same. They now do the ceremony using 'intinction', which is dipping the bread into the chalice. The method was first used over 450 years ago because of the bubonic plague. There was even a law at the time, the 1547 Sacrament Act, which allowed this change.

Some believers only take the bread, the body of Christ, and not the wine. I first saw this about three years ago when I attended my first Catholic service. The parishioners went forward and were given the bread, and then some walked right past the cup. I asked my friends about it, and they said some skipped for health reasons. The wine in the Catholic and Episcopalian churches is traditionally served by each member sipping from the chalice. Even though the priest wiped the lip of the cup after each person, I would be concerned too.

I don't think it's a true communion, a fulfilling of the sacrament, doing only one element. I was a bit puzzled by it. Our church traditionally has deacons pass trays with individual cups, with the wafers at the center, up and down each pew. It's both efficient and allows for a moment of prayer after being served. People with disabilities and the very elderly are served easily. We also use intinction depending on the service. The bread and wine are taken to those unable to come forward.

If you're not a member of the Catholic church, you can't take Communion (I don't know about the Episcopalians). Our church allows anyone that accepts Christ as their Savior to partake.

Its Time We Started Changin' - vid

New words for the classic. Listen up...

In This Corner We Have...

Two Ideologies are facing off in this country, Left Wing, Right Wing. Best description so far, from Johah Goldberg: "I would define 'left-wing' as statist, collectivist, egalitarian (within a defined group, be it based on class, race, or nationality), enamored of the Romantic spiritualization of the political, and hostile to tradition, religious orthodoxy, natural rights and Lockean individualism. I would define 'right-wing', particularly within the Anglo-American tradition, as pro-market, favoring limited government, respectful of religion and tradition, and protective of the individual and his rights. By any remotely similar definition, fascism belongs on the left..."

It Gets Even Worse

The projected deficit of the US has been hovering around 11 trillion bucks. Not shocking, but certainly disconcerting, is an even more staggering projected $23 trillion, according to the Inspector General, Neil Barofsky. This is the new projected cost for all the bailout and stimulus programs. The GDP of the US is about $14 trillion. We are going trillions in debt beyond our worth as a nation. There are still people, and I know some of them, that still think it's a good idea. If you want evidence it doesn't work, check out Califiornia. They're issuing IOU's, having brown outs, and have runaway government spending still. New Jersy, Michigan, and New York have the same problems. One thing these states have in common is they're run by Statists. The most successful states, Texas and Indiana, are run by Conservatives. It amazes me to no end that people keep voting in politicians that make things worse and have a proven track record of failure, and don't vote in people that have economic policies that work.

Let's try this one more time (no, probably a gazillion more times)...If you let politicians take the people's earnings to pay themselves and their supporters, everybody but them gets poorer. Hellllloooooo.... the Austrian economic model works, the Marxist economic model does not work.

Obama, Chavez and Honduras

This guy, Manuel Zelaya, was the president of Honduras, and tried a coup, fortunately not violent, by using mob rule to unconstitutionally get himself re-elected. The legislature, judicial, and military said he can't. He persisted and so was kicked out of the country. Chavez, dictator of Venezuela, is supportive of Zelaya and his illegal action, as is our Dear Leader and his Sec of State Clinton. They both support this violation of law, and are threatening economic sanctions against Honduras unless they let Zelaya back in the country (he was exiled) and allowed to pursue his illegal action.

Why, do you think, is our Statist president siding with the violation of a country's constitution, the attempted establishment of a dictatorship in a democratic country, and supporting thugs like Chavez and his fellow communist dictators?

What our "Support and Lie for Obama All the Time Media" reports is that the military had a coup and kicked this guy out of the country. They did not report that this action by Zelaya violated Article 239 of the Constitution, and the Legislature voted 122-6 to remove him from office, and it was upheld by the Supreme Court. That in turn allowed the military to go in and remove him.

Glenn Beck: Why Goldman Sachs Is The Evil Empire!- vid

Funny how the anti Halliburton people aren't screaming about this. Well, maybe not so funny.

Community Transformation Groups

Not only will ACORN be committing voter fraud, taking the census (where you're required to tell the stranger in your house what time you go to work and return), they'll now tell you how to live a healthy life.

As part of Obamacare, “national networks of community-based organizations,” (this term is in the bill and is not defined) will get grants to monitor smoking, weight loss, physical activity, and eating habits other health habits of citizens.

From the bill "Affordable Health Choices Act": “Activities within the plan shall focus on (but not be limited to)— (i) creating healthier school environments, including increasing healthy food options, physical activity opportunities, promotion of healthy lifestyle and prevention curricula, and activities to prevent chronic diseases;

“(ii) creating the infrastructure to support active living and access to nutritious foods in a safe environment;

“(iii) developing and promoting programs targeting a variety of age levels to increase access to nutrition, physical activity and smoking cessation, enhance safety in a community, or address any other chronic disease priority area identified by the grantee.”

Part of the mandate is to go into restaurants to ensure there are healthy items on the menu.

Here's something really scary... These little veggieshirts are to be “prioritizing strategies” to “reduce racial and ethnic disparities.” A quote from the bill.

More from the bill: “In carrying out subparagraph A [the transformation plan], the eligible entity shall, with respect to residents in the community, measure – (i) decreases in weight; (ii) increases in proper nutrition; (iii) increases in physical activity; (iv) decreases in tobacco use prevalence,” as well as “ other factors as determined by the Secretary [of Health and Human Services].”

Can I get some veggies from Michelle's magic garden?

Obamacare Will Save Money

The Statists are in a hurry to confiscate the wealth of small businessmen, adding $540 billion to pay for their health-care reform proposal. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) said he couldn't think of any small business owners who make enough money to qualify for the higher taxes. “I don’t know many small business men or women who are making, themselves $280,000 [per year], so I’m not sure that very many small businesses are going to be affected by this.” Say what? “This is a surcharge on people making over $280,000 as an individual, $350,000 [per year] as a couple and it’s graduated, it goes up as you reach $1 million in income.” Someone send this knucklehead a copy of "The Millionaire Next Door".

This is to pay for Obamacare, which, by the way, is supposed to be 'revenue neutral', save the country from bankruptcy, and reduce your individual healthcare costs.

Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-Ga.), (and also a doctor): “Many of these small businesses file [taxes] as subchapter-S or ‘sole proprietors’.” “They’re paying at the same individual tax rate which, once President Obama lets the Bush tax cuts expire in 2011 and they add on this surcharge, you’re talking about a marginal rate of up to 42 percent or higher.” “That’s going to hit right on the backs of many of the small businessmen and women in this country who create most of the jobs,” said Gingrey. “To put this [tax increase] on the back of that is absolutely unconscionable.”

Internal Revenue Service data from 2006 – the most recent year available – nearly 68 percent of small business profits ($470 billion) were reported by people making over $200,000 a year, meaning that the majority of small business profits would be subject to the Democrats’ tax increases.

Guess we have to burn down the village to save it.

Spend Money So You Don't Go Bankrupt

Joe Biden has given us all a formula for living the life of our dreams. If you have a high debt, get your credit cards out and run it up even higher! Wow! Why haven't I thought of that? I think this weekend I'll go out and buy the new CTS I've been wanting, go down to the Strip and see "Lion King", oh hell, I'll just go buy that $300,000 house down Green Valley Pkwy I've been eying, and get the latest Apple computer ('cause I'm sick of Windows).

Joe Biden, knucklehead motormouth VP, spoke at an AARP gathering, where, by the way, people had to be bussed in because no one wants to hear this guy, actually said, "... we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt..."

Here's a bit more: “And folks look, AARP knows and the people with me here today know, the president knows, and I know, that the status quo is simply not acceptable...”

“It’s totally unacceptable. And it’s completely unsustainable. Even if we wanted to keep it the way we have it now. It can’t do it financially.”

“We’re going to go bankrupt as a nation.”

“Now, people when I say that look at me and say, ‘What are you talking about, Joe? You’re telling me we have to go spend money to keep from going bankrupt?’” “The answer is yes, that's what I’m telling you."

Starting with Bush passing TARP, the rush has been on. We had to pass TARP or the economy will crash. We passed it and the economy crashed. Great success there. Then the stimulus package. Had to get it passed, or the economy will crash. Anybody see anything stimulated? (There were some 'financial benefits' to Obama supporters of course, so yeah, I guess that's stimulus of a sort.) Then the 'Cap and Tax' that nobody read. It wasn't even printed yet, and it was passed. That had to be because Pelosi said there would be world wide famine and fires and earthquakes oh my. Now we have to have government run health care or the economy will crash. What? That again?

I'm going shopping, then ask our Dear Leader for a bailout.

Bounce-Who Knew?

All this time you've just been putting Bounce in the dryer!

1. It will chase ants away when you lay a sheet near them. It also repels mice.

2. Spread sheets around foundation areas, or in trailers, or cars that are sitting and it keeps mice from entering your vehicle.

3. It takes the odor out of books and photo albums that don't get opened too often.

4. It repels mosquitoes. Tie a sheet of Bounce through a belt loop when outdoors during mosquito season.

5. Eliminate static electricity from your television (or computer) screen.

6. Since Bounce is designed to help eliminate static cling, wipe your television screen with a used sheet of Bounce to keep dust from resettling..

7. Dissolve soap scum from shower doors. Clean with a sheet of Bounce.

8. To freshen the air in your home - Place an individual sheet of Bounce in a drawer or hang in the closet.

9. Put Bounce sheet in vacuum cleaner.

10. Prevent thread from tangling. Run a threaded needle through a sheet of Bounce before beginning to sew.

11. Prevent musty suitcases. Place an individual sheet of Bounce inside empty luggage before storing.

12.. To freshen the air in your car - Place a sheet of Bounce under the front seat.

13. Clean baked-on foods from a cooking pan. Put a sheet in a pan, fill with water, let sit overnight, and sponge clean. The anti-static agent apparently weakens the bond between the food and the pan..

14. Eliminate odors in wastebaskets. Place a sheet of Bounce at the bottom of the wastebasket.

15. Collect cat hair. Rubbing the area with a sheet of Bounce will magnetically attract all the lose hairs.

16. Eliminate static electricity from Venetian blinds. Wipe the blinds with a sheet of Bounce to prevent dust from resettling.

17. Wipe up sawdust from drilling or sand papering. A used sheet of Bounce will collect sawdust like a tack cloth.

18. Eliminate odors in dirty laundry.. Place an individual sheet of Bounce at the bottom of a laundry bag or hamper.

19. Deodorize shoes or sneakers. Place a sheet of Bounce in your shoes or sneakers overnight.

20. Golfers put a Bounce sheet in their back pocket to keep the bees away.

21. Put a Bounce sheet in your sleeping bag and tent before folding and storing them. It will keep them smelling fresh.

22. Wet a Bounce sheet, hose down your car, and wipe lovebugs off easily with the wet Bounce.

Quotable Quotes

"It's almost like a crucifixion, in terms of the cross you have to bear. We reap the fruits of the resurrection, in terms of the power that emanates from [Michael Jackson's] sacrifice. He sacrificed his childhood because he loved us so. He didn't just entertain us, he sustained us." --Princeton African American Studies Professor Cornel West (Well then, who needs Jesus? We've got a deceased pedophile drug addict to worship now. Yikes!)

"House Chairman Charlie Rangel is proposing a tax hike on upper incomes to fund universal health care. Upper-income Americans already work four months a year for the government. Government employees don't work four months a year for the government." --comedian Argus Hamilton

"Capitalism and consumerism have brought the world to the brink of economic and environmental collapse, the Prince of Wales has warned. And in a searing indictment on capitalist society, Charles said we can no longer afford consumerism and that the 'age of convenience' was over.' He then got in his limo and was driven to his other palace. ... By contrast, as an example of an exemplary environmentalist, the Prince hailed his forebear, King Henry VIII. True, he had a lot of wives, but he did dramatically reduce Anne Boleyn's carbon footprint." --columnist Mark Steyn

"When the mainstream media is preoccupied with [Michael Jackson], it's probably doing, on margin, less damage than when it's dealing with public policy." --columnist George Will

Barbara Boxer - racist

This guy is right on...the Democrat Party has been and always will be the racist party. They are the party that filibustered against the 1964 Civil Rights act. A higher percentage of Republicans voted for it than Dems (Dems had more people), they were the pro slavery party, the Republicans freed the slaves. Most blacks in this country were Republicans until the New Deal when the Dems convinced them they couldn't take care of themselves and needed the State to take care of them. Boxer is showing not only her racism, but it's the mindset of all the Dems. Of course I'm being mean, cause I can't reverse the play of the Dems and other Statists; see only Republicans are racist, sexist, bigot homophobes...by definition. No amount of history or facts needed to refute that; not allowed, one way street. Better not call a Dem that though...Hey, is it okay if I call the Dems Christophobes and heterophobes and libertyphobes? Name calling, a two way street, that's fair and being all growed up like Statists, don't ya think?

Junkie Wallabies?

On the island of Tasmania, (that's south of Australia for recent grads of public education), poppy fields exist for the purpose of supplying phamaceuticals. Wallabies, which are like little kangaroos, have been hopping the fence for some munchies. According to one news article, "Stoned wallabies create opium crop circles."

The Bushes

I'm amazed, and shouldn't be, that Statists use the same old saw, "Bush did it", "Bush started it"...that kind of thing, when the economic mess we're in gets highlighted. Bush leaves office with the debt under a trillion and Obama in six months jumps it to 11 trillion. And the response is, yeah, well Bush did TARP. He did. NOW HEAR THIS! CONSERVATIVES WERE AGAINST IT!!!.

Bush bought into the whole argument that Bear Stearns was too big to fail. Then AIG. If we didn't act it would be a financial disaster like no one has ever seen. Now about 500 financial institutions have failed and all taxpayers have to pay. Do you have a job? You are paying for them. Statist or Conservative, you are paying. All Conservatives said no no no. All Statists said yes. In this case Bush was a Statist, and he made a decision for the State against the will of the people. Sixty percent I remember some polls recording, of the American people were against it. TARP passed anyway. Remember, all Conservatives were against, all Statists, including Obama were for it.

The reason Bush 41 got tossed out of office is because he turned against Conservative principles, and passed tax increases. All Conservatives were against it, all Statists were for it.

Bush 43 passed the Medicare Prescription Drug Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003. At the time Medicare Parts A and B had unfunded liabilities of $68 trillion. This act of "compassionate conservatism" in three years added another $17 trillion unfunded liability to Medicare. All Conservatives were against it, all Statists were for it.

The whole thing of Bush did it, Bush started it, is not an argument of justification for the added $11 trillion of debt this current president has added to at least the next three generations of Americans. Why are Statists using Bush as a justification, and saying that Conservatives didn't say anything? Hate Bush yet use him a justification for the theft of money and liberty from the American people? Why don't you just stand up and say you don't believe in the Constitution, don't believe in the rule of law, and do believe that government should control everything. Don't use Bush as a crutch.

Bush kept this country safe from terrorists; safe from attacks. For that, Conservatives are eternally grateful. We appreciate his support of traditional values.
It ends there. Both Bushes embraced Statist economic models, and Conservatives reject them.

My Statist friends, praise and support Obama all you want, but don't ignore or lie about what Conservatives have to say about the Bush's economics, and say we didn't say anything until Obama ran us ELEVEN TRILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT.

Now I Go to the Doc, & He Deals With the Insurance

Here's the government option, what your health care program will look like under Obamacare.

Would You Borrow a 11 Million Dollars On Your Wage?

In the last six months, the tax and money junkies in Washington DC have run up $11,000,000,000,000 in national debt. Bailouts for lying cheating incompetent companies, TARP, stimulus (which still hasn't stimulated anything).

Thomas Jefferson: "The principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale." Politicians are "...unauthorized to saddle posterity with our debts, and morally bound to pay them ourselves."

Some numbers. Just the interest alone on this debt will be $26,000,000,000. For those that have recently been through our public education system, that's 26 billion. If the debt stops there, doesn't grow, that's $300 billion a year. Think how much could could be done for the things government is supposed to do...transportation infrastructure, education, defense, police, fire. Oh, did I mention, that 26 billion is per month! You and our children, and our children's children are paying for that. By the year 2019, annual interest payment on the national debt, at this rate, will be $806 billion. Compound interest ring a bell? It nice when investing, bad when borrowing.

The Statists say they're going to get it from rich people and corporations. Windfall profits and such. Here's profits of major corporations in 2008: Exxon Mobil $45.2 billion, GE $17.41 billion, Wal-Mart $12.7 billion, IBM $12.3 billion for a total of $87.61 billion. About $88 billion toward the $806 billion. Plus how much can you get from Statist billionaires Soros, Buffet, Gates and other guys like them. You can bet they have hidden a lot of bucks from the eyes of the government. If they walked their talk they would have full disclosure and have no deductions. Plus they could pay a lot more just because they care about Amerika. They told us so (while hiding their money). Obama has already dropped his taxable rich from $250,000 a year income to $200,000 a year. Any doubt he drops it again? You think because you only make $40-50 grand a year you're safe?

By the way, if there was no interest on all this massive debt, all the taxes, at the level they are now, the principle could not be payed off in ten years. Couldn't even make a dent in the principle!

Obama's 2009 budget of $1,700,000,000,000 is having us spend $4.657 billion per day, or $53,906.64 per second. Most Americans don't even make that in a year, and he and his Statist fellow travelers want to spend that much per second!

This is equivalent, I think, of you or me, regular wage earners, borrowing $11 million, with no means of paying for it. Would you do it? Then why are we letting the federal government do it? Do you really think your wages are safe, your job is safe? You better think again.

Harry Potter, Wizardry, Witchcraft and the Bible

I enjoy the Harry Potter movies. They're fun, and full of fantasy, and visually stunning. Good vs Evil. I haven't read any of the books. My reading tastes don't take me into that genre. I do enter the religious genre though, and thus what the Bible has to say about witches and wizards and such. God really really really doesn't like them.

Leviticus says, "Do not practice fortune-telling or witchcraft...Do not rely on mediums and psychics, for you will be defiled by them".

Deuteronomy: "And do not let your people practice fortune-telling or sorcery, or allow them to interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. Anyone who does these things is an object of horror and disgust to the Lord."

In my 20's and 30's I did all these things. I did Tarot readings and I Ching readings, and a little bit of astrology. The Amazing Randy used to have people in a room, ask them their sign, and give them a reading. He would then ask the subjects if those elements applied to them; did they identify with how they were described, and how those influences confirmed what they believed about themselves and their future. Every subject said yes, absolutely, it was right on. Then Randy would reveal that he had read different horoscope, for example read Aries to a Sagittarius, etc. So much for accuracy there. Mostly for me astrology in those days was a great way of opening conversations, finding common ground. False ground, but ground nonetheless.

More on astrology from the Bible, from Deuteronomy: "And when you look up into the sky and see the sun, moon, and stars, all the forces of heaven, don't be seduced by them and worship them. The Lord your God designated these heavenly bodies for all the peoples of the earth."

God so hates this kind of thing, he advocates for the death of those that indulge. Fortunately for me, the following wasn't put into play, from Deuteronomy: "Suppose a man or woman among you, in one of your towns that the Lord your God is giving you, has done evil in the sight of the Lord your God and has violated the covenant by serving other gods or by worshiping the sun, the moon, or any of the forces of heaven, which I have strictly forbidden. When you hear about it, investigate the matter thoroughly. If it is true that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, then that man or woman must be taken to the gate of the town and stoned to death." After reading that, I'm truly grateful for forgiveness. Not only forgiveness, but God has blessed me beyond words.

In Chronicles, "Manasseh even sacrificed his own sons in the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom. He practiced sorcery, divination, and witchcraft, and he consulted with mediums and psychics. He did much that was evil in the Lord's sight, arousing His anger." My specialty was divination, but it was enough. I'm sure God is just as displeased with a specialist like I was, as with someone that does it all.

In Galatians, "Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, witchcraft, ...and such like; of these which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God." I'm totally focused on inheriting the kingdom of God.

Witches and the rest will continue doing what they do right up to the end, when Christ returns...from Revelation: "And they did not repent of their murders or their witchcraft or their immorality or their thefts." I'm happy to say I have repented of my divinations and immorality. I'm also happy to say I never reached so low a level as murder and theft.

So while Harry and his friends battle evil on the big screen, it's important to remember that God really hates that stuff. It's important that Christian parents make sure, if they let their kids see and read about Harry and his friends, that God takes doing sorcery and such as a really bad thing, and it makes Him angry. So angry He's ready to see you killed for violating his law.

I'm extremely happy to have turned away from all that, embraced our Saviour, and live a good, loving, loved, blessed life.

Malthus or God?

Thomas Malthus wrote in his “Essay on the Principle of Population” in 1798: “The power of population is indefinitely greater than the power in the earth to produce subsistence for man.” “…This implies a strong and constantly operating check on population from the difficulty of subsistence.” He observed we have two paths to check population growth; voluntary, we find ways to limit our growth, or involuntary, which are natural disasters.

I heard an interview with a woman that had just assumed a position on Sec of State Clinton’s staff, and she was a full blown Malthusian. She straight up said “there are too many people on the planet.” I would assume this is also Clinton’s view. Since Malthus wrote his piece, there are 6 billion more people. The Director General of the International Food Policy Research Institute, Joachim von Braun: “Agricultural productivity growth is only one to two percent per year.” The population is growing faster than that. Malthus, von Braun, Clinton’s staffer, and I would think the Obama Administration, are all Malthusians. Remember Paul Erlich, “The Population Bomb”, how there would be massive world wide famines in the ‘70’s and ‘80’s? Didn’t happen. There’s a reason why Malthus and his proponents are wrong, and will always be wrong.

Governments are the reason why people don’t get enough food. In Africa, many dictators refuse to let genetically altered crops to be grown or used. Governments use food to control populations; starve people that oppose them, and to feed their armies. Millions of people around the world do in fact have an abundance of food. There have also been complaints of the price of food going up. When governments suppress the production of crops, prices will go up. The US is guilty of this too. Federal mandates for corn based ethanol consumed about thirty percent of 2008 production, causing corn prices to rise over eight dollars a bushel that year, triple what it was in 2005. All bio-fuels take land and water that could be used for crops for people. The corn used to make a twenty-five gallon tank of ethanol would feed a person for a year. The pollution generated to make ethanol is equal to or greater than the pollution generated by burning regular fuel. It’s a zero sum game.

The technology and resources are available to meet the needs of people. Governments have a vested interest in keeping people hungry, or threatening them with hunger. My view is that God has provided us with the resources, talent and ability, to feed everyone on the planet, no matter how many people. The Malthusians have been wrong since the 1700’s, are wrong now, and will be wrong in the future.

The following scriptures support my view; Scriptures 2-3 thousand years, Malthusians about three centuries (and haven’t been right yet). [emphasis mine]

Abundance, from Strong’s: perisseuo: To superabound, have in excess, greatly surpass, excel. The word shows the generosity of God’s grace, given assurance that faithful use of one’s talents and gifts set the stage for one’s own advancement.

"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work." 2 Corinthians 9:8

"And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever." Philippians 4:19-20

God has provided us with everything we need to live abundant lives. He has since the beginning of human existence. Also since the beginning of existence, rulers and governments have denied that abundance for their own ends. What works, one-hundred percent of the time, is what Joseph did. Follow that model, and the people won’t starve.

Obama's White House is Falling Down-Daniel Greenfield

Obama's White House is Falling Down
By Daniel Greenfield Thursday, June 11, 2009
Canadian Press

In the sixth month of his presidency, Obama has turned an economic downturn into an economic disaster, taking over and trashing entire companies, and driving the nation deep into deficit spending expected to pass 10 trillion dollars.

Abroad, Obama seems to have no other mode except to continue on with his endless campaign, confusing speechmaking with diplomacy. It is natural enough that Obama, who built his entire campaign on high profile public speeches reported on by an adoring press, understands how to do nothing else but that.

Ego driven photo op appearances and clueless treatment of foreign dignitaries

While the press is still chewing over Obama's Cairo speech, this celebrity style coverage ignores the fact that Obama's endless world tour is not actually accomplishing anything. Instead his combination of ego driven photo op appearances and clueless treatment of foreign dignitaries have alienated many of America's traditional allies. Those who aren't being quietly angry at Obama, like Brown, Merkel or Netanyahu, instead think of him as as absurdly lightweight, as Sarkozy, King Abdullah or Putin do.

While his officials carry out their dirty economic deeds, Obama responds to any and every crisis as if it were a Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland musical, with a cry of, "Let's put on a show." Thus far Obama has put on "shows" across America, Europe and the Middle East. And what the adoring media coverage neglects to cover, is that Obama's shows have solved absolutely nothing. They have served only as high profile entertainment.

Neither alienating America's traditional allies, through a combination of arrogant bullying and ignorance, nor appeasing America's enemies, has yielded any actual results. Nor does it seem likely to. Islamic terrorism is not going anywhere, neither are the nuclear threats from North Korea and Iran. While Obama keeps smiling, the global situation keeps growing more grim.

At home, if Obama was elected as depression era entertainment, the charm of his smiles and his constant appearances on magazine covers appear to be wearing thin on the American public. Despite the shrill attacks on Rush Limbaugh or the Republican Enemy of the Weak-- the Democratic party of 2009, is polling a lot like the Republican party of 2008. The Democrats have suddenly become the incumbents, and the only accomplishment they can point to is lavish deficit spending, often on behalf of the very same corporations and causes they once postured against.

The European Union Parliament's swing to the right cannot be credited to Obama, though doubtlessly some European voters seeing socialist economic crisis management on display in the world's richest country decided they wanted none of it, but it is part of a general turning against federalism. And Obama's entire program is dependent on heavily entrenching federalism at the expense of individual and state's rights. Yet that is precisely his achilles heel with independent voters who are polling against more taxes and expanded government. And no amount of speeches by Obama can wish away his 18 czars or the national debt he has foisted on generation after generation of the American people.

That leaves Obama with a choice between socialism and the independent voter. And thus far he has chosen socialism.

Obama's tactic of hijacking Bush Administration era policies on the economy and the War on Terror, and exploiting them as trojan horses to promote his own agenda, have left him coping with a backlash from his own party, as well as general Republican opposition.

His Czars are meant to function as the bones in an executive infrastructure accountable to no one, but a lack of accountability isn't just another word for tyranny, but for incompetence. A functional chain of command is accountable at multiple levels if it is to function effectively. Obama's White House by contrast is in a state of over-organized chaos, the sort of organized disorganization that undisciplined egotistical leftists naturally create for themselves, complete with multiple overlapping levels of authority and no one in charge but the man at the top, who's too busy doing other things to actually be in charge.

Dennis Blair as National Intelligence, who collaborated with the Muslim genocide of Christians in East Timor, trying to muscle out the CIA to create his own intelligence network, is typical of the kind of chaos being spawned by every chief in an expanding government bureaucracy working to make sure that all the Indians answer to him. Similarly the National Security Council wrestling with the State Department, highlighted by Samantha Power getting her own specially created NSC position to butt heads with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, illustrates the state of conflict and chaos in American foreign affairs. A state of chaos so pervasive that incompetence has now become commonplace, and no one can even be found to double check the spelling of a Russian word that is meant to be the theme of American's diplomatic reconstruction with Russia, or to pick out a gift for the visiting British Prime Minister.

The death of Chrysler at the hands of Fiat and the UAW

Meanwhile on the economy, Obama exploited the ongoing bailouts, transforming them from bailouts into takeovers meant to shift the balance of power in what had been a democracy and socially engineer not only corporations, but the lives of ordinary Americans. But the public's patience with corporate bailouts is at an end, most Americans were never happy with them to begin with, and want them to end. The death of Chrysler at the hands of Fiat and the UAW might look like a victory in the union ranks, but it doesn't play too well outside Detroit. And tacking on CAFE standards that will kill the pickup truck and the SUV will badly erode Obama in the swing states, if exploited properly in 2010 and 2012. Despite the constant media barrage, orchestrated out of the White House, the public is growing disenchanted with the performance of Obama and the Democrats.

With unemployment booming and the economy dropping, the jobs aren't there and the spending is out of control. Republicans today are polling better on ethics and the economy, than the Democrats are. That shows a trend which is likely to register in the mid-term elections in 2010, in the same way that the EU parliamentary elections served as a shock to the system.

In the opposition, Republicans are free to embrace the rhetoric of change, to champion reform and push libertarian ideas about the size and scope of government. In turn all Obama has is his celebrity fueled media spectacle world tour. A charade now serving as a parallel to the depression era entertainment that functioned as escapism in a dour time. But before long, it may be Obama that the American public will want to escape from.

A shallow, manipulative and egotistical amateur who is in over his head

Obama has tried to play Lincoln, Reagan, JFK and FDR-- but in the end he can only play himself, a shallow, manipulative and egotistical amateur who is in over his head, and trying to drag the country down with him. Obama's White House is falling down and while the flashbulbs are still glittering and the parties are going on in D.C. and around the world, Obama and the Democratic Congress may be headed for a recession of their own.

You've Got a Friend-Vid

Used vs. Loved

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4-yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw his father, with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'

The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions, sitting in front of that car, he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.

The next day, that man committed suicide. . .

Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life.

Things are to be used and people are to be loved.

But, the problem in today's world is that, People are used and things are loved...

During this year, let's be careful to keep this thought in mind:

Things are to be used, but People are to be loved.

Be yourself. This is the only day we HAVE. Have a nice day!

Always remember:

Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions; they become habits. Watch your habits they become character; Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

God bless you;

I hope you are having a wonderful day!

The New Obamamobile

The new GM (Government Motors) proudly introduces the 2010 " Obama.."

Incredibly "green," this car runs on hot air and broken promises.

It has three wheels that speed the vehicle through tight left turns.

It comes complete with two teleprompters programmed to
help the occupants talk their way out of any violations.

Built by union labor with full benefits, its base price is only $83,000, but low government financing is available for any payment requested.

Subsidized insurance available!

There are loan guarantees and special payment plans for "undocumented workers."

Non-union American citizens must pay full price of course, plus all taxes.

The transparent canopy reveals the smiles still on the faces of all the happy Democrat owners.

TOTAL: 129 ONE HUNDRED TWENTY NINE!

The Jews are NOT promoting brain washing children in military training camps, teaching them how to blow themselves up and cause maximum deaths of Jews and other non Muslims!

The Jews don't hijack planes, nor kill athletes at the Olympics, or blow themselves up in German restaurants. There is NOT one single Jew that has destroyed a church. There is NOT a single Jew that protests by killing people.

The Jews don't traffic slaves, nor have leaders calling for Jihad and death to all the Infidels.

Perhaps the world's Muslims should consider investing more in standard education and less in blaming the Jews for all their problems.

Muslims must ask 'what can they do for humankind' before they demand that humankind respects them!!

Regardless of your feelings about the crisis between Israel and the Palestinians and Arab neighbors, even if you believe there is more culpability on Israel's part, the following two sentences really say it all:

'If the Arabs put down their weapons today, there would be no more violence.

If the Jews put down their weapons today, there would be no more Israel. '
-Benjamin Netanyahu

How the world works lately...

How the world works lately...

If a man cuts his finger off while
slicing salami at work, he blames the restaurant.

If you smoke three packs a day for 40 years and die of lung cancer,
your family blames the tobacco company.

If your neighbor crashes into a tree while driving home drunk, he blames the bartender.

If your grandchildren are brats without manners, you blame television.

If your friend is shot by a deranged madman, you blame the gun manufacturer.

And if a crazed person breaks into the cockpit and tries to kill the pilot at 35,000 feet, and the passengers kill him instead, the mother of the crazed deceased
blames the airline.

I must have lived too long to understand the world as it is anymore. So, if I die while my old wrinkled ass is parked in front of this computer, I want all of you to
blame Bill Gates.
