Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Criticizes Obama

I posted, before I went to work this morning, about the Professor, the Cop and the President. I get home tonight and see, justifiably, Obama under fire for this. It's now the story of the day; well, maybe except for the whoppers he told last night about Obamacare. The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), responded to Obama's comment that the police acted "stupidly". Jim Pasco, executive director of the FOP's legislative office, noted Obama didn't even know what happened, yet felt compelled to comment. Pasco: "That being the case, it's unfortunate that he chose to say anything." "He wasn't there, and he doesn't know what happened." I have to wonder what the president of the US is doing commenting at all on a local police matter.

From "Audacity of Hope";
"There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs," he wrote. "It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names."

From "Dreams Dreams of My Father";
"The emotion between the races could never be pure,” “Even love was tarnished by the desire to find in the other some element that was missing in ourselves. Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, the other race would always remain just that: menacing, alien, and apart."

"There was something about him that made me wary,” Obama wrote. "A little too sure of himself, maybe. And white"

"That hate hadn't gone away"...."white people — some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives."

Without any knowledge of what happened in Cambridge, Obama slammed the white police and sided with the black law breaker.

Any wonder?
