Hoping Pastor Rick Warren Not Becoming a "Useful Idiot"

I think Rick Warren of the famous Saddleback Church, should pick his friends as carefully as he picks his Bible verses.

He spoke at a pro-Islamofacist meeting, along with some pro-terrorist thugs; including Siraj Wahhaj, an “unindicted co-conspirator” of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Naeem Muhammad, a U.S. staff member of Islamic Relief that is a front group for Hamas and raises money for them, and Zulfiqar Ali Shah, former South Asia Director of KindHearts. KindHearts was shut down as a charity organization by the FBI because its “charity money” was going to finance terrorist groups.

Introduction to his speech: “As-salamu Alaykum. I come to you today deeply humbled and honored by this invitation. I truly mean that. I applaud your courage for inviting an Evangelical pastor. Thank you.”

The meeting was of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). The ISNA has been named by the Justice Department as a Hamas front group. This meeting was in July of last year, and though dated, I’m hoping Warren has been more careful of his associations.

It’s bad enough that Leftists are “useful idiots”, but I hate seeing a leader of Christians being one.
