Does the Obama Administration Have a Moral Compass?

John P. Holdren is Obama's science adviser and served as co-chairman when the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology met a little while ago. He's the co-author of "Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment," along with Paul and Anne Erlich. Erlich, some of you may remember, was the chicken little that predicted world wide famines in "The Population Bomb". He was wrong about everything...several times over, on several issues. Yet Statists, environmentalists, and continually wrong Malthusians keep sourcing him.

Then we have Ezekiel J. Emanuel, Obama's health care adviser: "When I began working in the health policy area about 20 years ago ... Seems to me rationing health care is an all or nothing proposition.

Worship, Going to Church

I had thought, when I finally quit fighting His call (about 15 years of resistance), that like CS Lewis had thought when he converted, I would just attend and sit, sing, pray and listen to the message.
There's so more to worship than that.

When I was anti-church and anti-Christian, I presented the argument that church is just a man-made institution, and as such of no import; followed by the usual criticisms of Christians and the Church. Actually, us getting together is God's idea. From Exodus: "From everyone who gives it willingly with his heart you shall take My offering...And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell among them...And there I will meet with you, and I will speak with you from above the mercy seat."

Jesus set the example. From Luke: "So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath Day, and stood up to read."

Being a member of the Body of Christ, and worshiping corporately, I find God's grace released to me, and to all of us that are there. I am humbled. I am loved. And I love. I hear His Word, and am matured as a man, a human, and a Christian. I know I am submitted to Him, and am better for it.

This is a place where we enter the presence of God, and we welcome Him into our presence and hearts.

Take a minute or two each morning, and listen to God. First thing when I sit up in the morning, I say the Lord's prayer. It opens the heart and ears to God's plan, and love, for us that day.

"Julia Dixon had just accidentally locked herself out of her house when the mailman came up the drive. "Mrs. Dixon!' he exclaimed in concern. 'You look upset. What's the matter?'

'Oh, I don't know what I'm going to do,' she wailed, wringing her hands nervously. 'The door locked behind me, and my neighbor, who keeps a duplicate for me, is out of town. My husband has the key, but he's at an all day conference at a hotel downtown, and I doubt I can reach him. How am I going to get back in?'

The mailman tried to calm the woman, and advised her to call a locksmith. 'I guess that's my only recourse,' she agreed, 'but to tell you the truth, they charge an arm and a leg and I really can't afford an extra expense right now. Things have been tight.'

The mailman commiserated with her, but pointed out that she had no choice. 'Look, I better be on my way,' her said, 'but here's you mail. Who knows? Maybe there'll be some good news inside one of the letters to cheer you up!'

Julia looked through the envelopes. There was one from her brother Jonathan. He had visited the family the previous week and had stayed for a few days. 'I wonder why he's writing so soon?' she thought. As she tore open the letter, a key fell into her palm.

ONE
Recently when I went to McDonald's, I saw on the menu that you could
have an order of 6, 9 or 12 Chicken McNuggets. I asked for a half dozen
nuggets. 'We don't have half dozen nuggets,' said the teenager at the
counter.' 'You don't?' I replied. 'We only have six, nine, or twelve,'
was the reply. 'So I can't order a half dozen nuggets, but I can order
six?' 'That's right.' So I shook my head and ordered six McNuggets.

TWO
I was checking out at the local Wal-Mart with just a few items and the
lady behind me put her things on the belt close to mine. I picked up
one of those 'dividers' that they keep by the cash register and placed
it between our things so they wouldn't get mixed. After the girl had
scanned all of my items, she picked up the 'divider,' looking it all
over for the bar code so she could scan it. Not finding the bar code,
she said to me, 'Do you know how much this is?' I said to her, 'I've
changed my mind, I don't think I'll buy that today.' She said 'OK,' and
I paid her for the things and left. She had no clue to what had just
happened.

THREE
A lady at work was seen putting a credit card into her floppy drive and
pulling it out very quickly. When I inquired as to what she was doing,
she said she was shopping on the Internet and they kept asking for a
credit card number, so she was using the ATM 'thingy.'

FOUR
I recently saw a distraught young lady weeping beside her car. ' Do
you need some help?' I asked. She replied, 'I knew I should have
replaced the battery to this remote door unlocker. Now I can't get into
my car. Do you think they (pointing to a distant convenience store)
would have a battery to fit this?' 'Hmmm, I dunno. Do you have an
alarm, too?' I asked. 'No, just this remote thingy,' she answered,
handing it and the car keys to me. As I took the key and manually
unlocked the door, I replied, 'Why don't you drive over there and check
about the batteries. It's a long walk.'

FIVE
Several years ago, we had an Intern who was none too swift. One day
she was typing and turned to a secretary and said, 'I'm almost out of
typing paper. What do I do?' 'Just use copier machine paper,' the
secretary told her. With that, the intern took her last remaining blank
piece of paper, put it on the photocopier and proceeded to make five
'blank' copies.

SIX
I was in a car dealership a while ago, when a large motor home was
towed into the garage. The front of the vehicle was in dire need of
repair and the whole thing generally looked like an extra in 'Twister.'
I asked the manager what had happened. He told me that the driver had
set the 'cruise control' and then went in the back to make a sandwich.

SEVEN
My neighbor works in the operations department in the central office of
a large bank. Employees in the field call him when they have problems
with their computers. One night he got a call from a woman in one of
the branch banks who had this question: 'I've got smoke coming from the
back of my terminal. Do you guys have a fire downtown?'

EIGHT
Police in Radnor , PA interrogated a suspect by placing a metal
colander on his head and connecting it with wires to a photocopy
machine. The message 'He's lying' was placed in the copier, and police
pressed the copy button each time they thought the suspect wasn't
telling the truth. Believing the 'lie detector' was working, the
suspect confessed.

NINE
A mother calls 911, very worried, asking the dispatcher if she needs to
take her kid to the emergency room--the kid was eating ants. The
dispatcher tells her to give the kid some Benadryl and it should be
fine. The mother says, 'I just gave him some ant killer..... '
Dispatcher: 'Rush him to the emergency room!'

A Letter to the Editor About Media Coverage of Protests

The point you make about the media not covering liberal loonies at left-wing protests because such stories would be of dog-bites-man importance has some validity. However, I think you miss two much larger concerns.

First, I do not believe that the existence of left-wing fringe elements at liberal protests is at all common knowledge. Certainly political junkies like us know full well about what really goes on at these rallies. However, I think there is a huge swath of middle America that would be quite startled to get the full picture of liberal protests. I also think that were the media to provide such coverage it would notably alter public opinion on many political topics. (By way of contrast, note how the media cover religion. They almost never cover mainstream religious organizations and activity, but consistently report on religious extremists, and always in a negative light.)

Second, yes, at any political protest you will have elements there shouting, arguing, whatever, that politician so-and-so is a jerk and in bed with special interests and untrustworthy and all that. However, what infuriated me about the antiwar protests when Bush was in office is that the left's level of rhetoric was not just different in degree from what one might commonly see at political rallies but was different in kind. To me, the left became completely unhinged. To regularly brand Bush as Hitler, to regularly refer to the Bush administration as a "regime," to tolerate the not-uncommon calls for Bush's death or assassination reflected a serious change in the nature of political debate in this country. That change was very much a valid news story. In many respects, that change superseded the significance of the war itself. Yet, the media totally and completely ignored and whitewashed the level of lunacy among the left.

Now, maybe I, myself, am an extremist for seeing such an acute liberal bias in the MSM, but, I feel very strongly that the MSM is "at it again." They are working hard to report on fringe conservative protesters as a way to undercut conservative positions when they have regularly ignored the lunacy which exists on the left--and have ignored the size and sway that such extremists hold within the Democratic Party.

Discharged Vet? ObamaCare Requires Public Option Only

HR 3200 Americas Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 is the official name of ObamaCare. Sec 102 (a)(1)(A), “Protecting The Choice to Keep Current Insurance”: "(a) GRANDFATHERED HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE DEFINED.—Subject to the succeeding provisions of this section, for purposes of establishing acceptable coverage under this division, the term ‘‘grandfathered health insurance coverage’’ means individual health insurance coverage that is offered and in force and effect before the first day of Y1 if the following conditions are met:
(1) LIMITATION ON NEW ENROLLMENT.—
(A) IN GENERAL.—Except as provided in this paragraph, the individual health insurance issuer offering such coverage does not enroll any individual in such coverage if the first effective date of coverage is on or after the first day of Y1."

What this is saying is that if you are enrolled in a private insurance day one of year one, you can keep it; as long as you don't change it. If you do change it, or change jobs, a federal bureaucrat will check to see if it's exactly the same. If it's not then you will be required to enroll in ObamaCare.

For newly discharged vets, ObamaCare. That's it. Done deal. Rep. Steve Buyer (R-Ind.) has introduced amendments to address this, but don't put it past the Dems to quash them.

Debates, Racism, Nazism, Dems, Republicans

Here's a shotgun blast of observations. The first is racism and the Statists in power. Whenever Dems and other Statists are losing an argument, the charges of racism appear. Of course if you're white, Conservative, Christian, Republican, any or all the above, you are, by definition, a racist; along with being a bigot, sexist, homophobe.
The charges of racism against opponents of the stimulus package and Obamacare are in full swing. Those who oppose this takeover of the private sector by the government do so because Obama is black. Statist economist Paul Krugman: "But they're probably reacting less to what Mr. Obama is doing, or even to what they've heard about what he's doing, than to who he is." Monica Novotny, MSNBC: "The town hall confrontations are turning violent...." (Note that violence didn't occur until the Democrat Party sent SEIU, AFL-CIO and ACORN thugs in.) "New fears for the safety of America’s first African-American president." Chris Matthews: "I think some of the people are upset because we have a black president." Carlos Watson also of MSNBC: ...you start to wonder whether in fact the word socialist is becoming a code word, whether or not socialist is becoming the new N-word for frankly for some angry upset birthers and others." So if you're against the imposition of Marxism and the tossing out of the Constitution, you're a racist.

Since the cowardly, spineless Republican leadership is nowhere to be found during this Great Debate, something must be addressed here. There are always extreme nuts on both sides. Rep. David Scott's (D, GA) district office had a swastika painted on his sign.
This must be denounced immediately by all Conservatives, loudly and repeatly. Both because it's vile, and because the MSM and Dems will use the broad brush to once again paint us as Nazis. Of course the MSM will not say much, if anything, about Scott's racist comments. He's black, in a primarily white district. He claims he's received mail 'using the N word', and calling Obama a Marxist. Scott: "We have got to make sure that the symbol of the swastika does not win, that the racial hatred that's bubbling up does not win this debate." "There's so much hatred out there for President Obama." Statists are losing the argument, so, racist, Nazi, Brooks Brother wearing! and worst of all organized!! labels are applied. Full disclosure: Not I, nor anyone I know, have ever worn a Brooks Brothers suit.

I have held hundreds during my years of service in Congress and always welcomed everyone to attend. Unfortunately, due to a coordinated effort to disrupt our town hall meetings, we will be restricting further attendance to residents of the 29th Congressional District and verifying residency by requiring photo identification. Whether individuals agree or disagree, we must maintain order to have a civil discussion of the issues. While I regret this restriction, it is necessary for the safety and consideration of our constituents. Those who do not reside in the 29th Congressional should contact their Member of Congress to voice any concerns that they may have on issues before Congress." This is from a guy that has voted twice against having voters showing an ID to vote. ummmmmm, anything wrong with this picture?

Of course other Dems and RINO's are starting to have teleconferences by invitation only instead of townhall meetings. Cowards. Cowards and liars. Cowards, liars, Statists. I'm disgusted with the whole lot of them.

Changing the Name Doesn't Change the Realilty

Global Warming changed to Climate Change (I'm preparing for the coming ice age) and now the Bamster and his minions are changing Healthcare Reform to Health-insurance Reform. Another pathetic application of 'newspeak'. In their Statist minds this provides two things. The first is the hope (there's some more 'hope' for you) that the debate gets diffused a bit, and the other is what every leftist leader must do to maintain power...find a demon. Chavez and Castro, and Islamofacists have the U S as the great Satan. These guys (Statists) need to have someone other than themselves to blame; can't let the people know who's truly to blame. They all have the Press to suppress any knowledge of what's going on. In those regimes they have nationalized the Press. Here the MSM willingly goes along. Is anyone aware of the NY Times, CBS, NBC, etc., in print or discussion, cover what's in the House healthcare bill? No, they have only attacked, in news stories, not editorials, the people that oppose this latest imposition of government on a free people.

The only place you can find a break down and analysis of the contents of the bill is in the Conservative and Libertarian blogosphere, magazines and talk shows. The attack on insurance companies, lies about the structure, and lies about who's insured and not, has already commenced. The MSM will, with great joy and incompetence, repeat everything our Dear Leader will tell them to.

Getting a jump on them. What you won't see in the coming days are that nine of ten people are covered through work; Obama is only talking about the one in ten that are privately insured, about 15 million people. My own co-pay in the past ten years has gone up five bucks. I can handle that, and I suspect anyone with coverage like this has no problem with it.

Obama wants insurers to cover anyone at any time and at uniform rates. To do that insurance companies will have to charge everyone more. Anytime? So a less moral person (a growing number of people in the country, but that's another blog) gets sick, buys insurance, gets well after thousands of dollars of procedures, then opts out. This has been tried in Maine, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Vermont and is failing. The program has been ended in New Hampshire and Kentucky; it was a costly massive failure. Costs? In 2007, the average annual premium in New Jersey was $5,326 for singles and in New York $12,254 for a family (of four). The national average is $2,613 for singles and $5,799 for families.

There's a lot more wrong with this of course, but I think you get the idea. The big idea of the Statists now in power, is not about your health (which is none of their business anyway). It's about nationalizing another sector of the economy. Taking over AIG was just the first bite of the insurance industry. Obama and his Statists, by changing the name to insurance reform are hoping (there's that word again) to get that whole apple and at the same time getting legislation passed that takes away your choice of how you control your body.

Random thoughts on the passing scene:

Different people have very different reactions to President Barack Obama. Those who listen to his rhetoric are often inspired, while those who follow what he actually does are often appalled.

New York and Chicago have both recently had their coldest June in generations. If they had had their hottest month, it would have been trumpeted from the media 24/7 by "global warming" zealots. But the average surface temperature of the earth has not changed in more than a decade, according to the Cato Institute.


Many years ago, there was a comic book character who could say the magic word "Shazam" and turn into Captain Marvel, a character with powers like Superman's. Today, you can say the magic word "diversity" and turn reverse discrimination into social justice.

I would rather see politicians hanged than see their children smeared.

Someone pointed out that blaming economic crises on "greed" is like blaming plane crashes on gravity. Certainly planes wouldn't crash if it wasn't for gravity. But when thousands of planes fly millions of miles every day without crashing, explaining why a particular plane crashed because of gravity gets you nowhere.

Neither does talking about "greed," which is constant like gravity.

Political ideologies are fairy tales for adults.

What did we learn from the "beer summit" on the White House lawn, except that Vice President Joe Biden doesn't drink alcoholic beverages? Considering the many gaffes that the vice president has made while cold sober, the thought of an intoxicated Joe Biden boggles the mind.

Seeing children repeating the cant they have been taught is not only depressing in itself, it provides a depressing preview of the future, when those children become voting adults, with a habit of reaching conclusions after hearing only one side of an issue.

Since no one seems overly concerned about putting a racist on the Supreme Court-- provided it is a politically correct racist-- the moral of the story seems to be that if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, that doesn't matter if it coos like a dove at Senate confirmation hearings.

I hate seeing a referee keep giving warnings to a boxer for low blows. Taking a point away is the only kind of warning that is likely to make the low blows stop. The rules of boxing don't say you are entitled to one free low blow, much less repeated low blows.

Perhaps the scariest aspect of our times is how many people think in talking points, rather than in terms of real world consequences.

Over the years, unions in the private sector have been declining, while unions in the public sector have been thriving. The United Automobile Workers are getting a big return on their investment in the election of Barack Obama because the government takeover of General Motors makes the UAW more like a public sector union, whose demands can be met at the taxpayers' expense.

Recently I was foolish enough to try to reason with an environmentalist. But it became obvious that he had his mind made up and didn't want to hear any evidence to the contrary. The Pope is more likely to have read Karl Marx than an environmentalist is to have read even a single book that criticized environmentalism.

With Velcro and other modern adhesives available, can't someone design a boxing glove that doesn't require fights to be stopped in the middle of a round so that loose tape can be repaired? Often the break in the action changes the whole tempo of the fight and can affect the outcome.

How long will it be before the public gets tired of the little know-it-all sermonettes by Barack Obama-- especially since nothing that he is doing is actually working?

The 150-year prison sentence for Bernie Madoff has implications that go far beyond this particular swindler. There was a time when a simple life sentence would have kept him behind bars. But today the practice of over-stating the sentences that will actually be served-- in order to soothe the public-- has gotten so widespread that a ridiculous sentence like 150 years has to be given, in order to try to make sure he won't be back on the streets again.

The debate -- OK, the shouting match -- we are having over "health-care reform" is about many things, including cost, who gets help and who does not and who, or what, gets to make that determination. Underlying it all is a larger question: Is human life something special? Is it to be valued more highly than, say, plants and pets? When someone is in a "persistent vegetative state" do we mean to say that person is equal in value to a carrot?

Are we now assigning worth to human life, or does it arrive with its own pre-determined value, irrespective of race, class, IQ, or disability?

The bottom line is not the bottom line. It is something far more profound. Our decisions regarding who will get help and who won't are about more than bean-counting bureaucrats deciding if your drugs or operation will cost more than you are contributing to the U.S. Treasury.


The secular left claims we are evolutionary accidents who managed to crawl out of the slime and by "natural selection" stand erect and over millions of years outsmart our ancestors, the apes. If that is your belief, then you probably think health care should be rationed. Why spend lots of money to improve -- or save -- the life of someone who evolved from slime and has no special significance other than the "accident" of becoming human? Policies flow from such a philosophy, though the average secularist probably wouldn't put it in such stark terms. Stark, or not, isn't this the inevitable progression of seeing humanity as maybe complex, but nothing special?

The opposing view sees human beings as unique creations. Even Thomas Jefferson, identified by historians as a Deist who doubted the existence of a personal God, understood that if certain rights (life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness) do not come from a source beyond the reach of the state, then the state could take those rights away. Those who believe that God made us and also makes the rules about our existence and our behavior will have a completely different understanding of life's value and our approach to affirming it until natural death.

It is between these two distinctly different worldview goalposts that the battle is taking place. Few from the "endowed rights" side are saying that a 100-year-old with an inoperable brain tumor should be given extraordinary and expensive care to keep the heart pumping, even after brain waves have gone flat. But there is a big difference between "letting go" and "snuffing out." The unnatural progression for many on the secular left is to see such a person as a "burden." In an age when we think we should be free of burdens -- a notion that contributes to our superficiality and makes us morally obtuse -- getting rid of granny might seem perfectly rational, even defensible. But by doing so, we assume an even greater burden: the role of God in deciding who gets to live and who must die. Anyone who has seen the film "Bruce Almighty" senses how difficult it is to play God.

We are now witnessing some of the consequences of attempting to ban people with a God perspective from the public square. If there are no rules and no one to whom one might appeal when those rules are violated, we are on our own to set whatever rules we wish and to change them in a moment in response to opinion polls. Any appeals to a higher authority stop at the Supreme Court.

The explosive town hall meetings are indications that Americans are trusting government less and less. So where should we go? The answer is in your wallet or purse. It's on the money. Right now it is little more than a slogan, but what if it became true: in God We Trust.

THE African-American website? What? There's a monolithic African-American perspective? I wonder how many Black Conservatives will be writing for it? How many will be interviewed?

Guest writers so far are racist and anti-Semite Al Sharpton, and a character by the name of David Wilson, also a Statist. He's the Managing Editor and Founding Member of Three Part Media: "TheGrio.com is the first video-centric news community site devoted to providing African-Americans with stories and perspectives that appeal to them but are underrepresented in existing national news outlets". "TheGrio.com's goal is to be the biggest and most reliable aggregator, producer, and distributor of black news online."

Pelosi Calls Opponents of Health Care Nazis/Rush Counterpoint Causes Furor

From the Rush monologue: "You have the Democrat Speaker of the House saying that people, citizens who are concerned about health care are now wearing swastikas. She's basically saying that we are Nazis. She is saying that the people who oppose this are Nazis, and I'm going to tell you what. I'm going to run down the list here later on in the program, but this party, the Democrat Party and where it's taken this country, the radical left leadership of this party bears much more resemblance to Nazi policies than anything we on the right believe in at all, and I'll go through that list in just a second." Rush does go down the list of similarities between liberalism and Nazism." You can read the whole monologue here.

I remember in the mid-nineties this became an issue. Rush had one of his producers check the congressional record, and there were many (I forget the number) references to Republicans, on the floor of the House, as being Nazis. I remember lots of references, when I watched a lot of C-Span, of lock step jack booted Republicans. Now that the Dems are 100% in agreement about imposing socialist programs, I'm not hearing anything similar being said by Republicans during sessions in Congress now.

Small Miracles

Some will say coincidence.

In 1939, Japanese diplomat Chiune Sugihara, who was stationed in Lithuania during one of the darkest times in human history, saved thousands of Polish Jews from the Nazis by issuing transit visas to them defying his own government, he wrote visas day and night, even scribbling them by hand and passing them through a train window as he departed Lithuania.

His bold and extraordinary act of heroism was largely unknown and unsung in the immediate aftermath of the war. For many years he occupied an obscure footnote in history-until survivors who had been rescused by Sugihara began to emerge from the silence of their post-Holocaust shock and started telling his story. Soon, his courage and greatness were being celebrated all over the world, catching the attention of the mass media and inspiring several authors to write books describing the actions of the "Japanese Schindler."

Meanwhile, the Israeli government was gathering names of "courageous rescuers," whose efforts it wished to repay. One of the ways the Jewish state attempted to acknowledge its debt was by giving rescuers and their families sanctuary and lifelong pensions. Another, more symbolic way, was by planting trees in their honor. When Sugihara's valor came to light, Israeli officials immediately made plans to plant a cherry grove, as was customary, in his memory. But suddenly, in a uncommon move officials rescinded the order. They decided that, in keeping with the breath taking scope of Sugihara's actions, cherry trees were an inappropriate symbol. They opted instead for a grove of cedar trees, deciding that cedar was sturdier and had holier connotations, having been used in the First Temple.

It was only after they had planted the trees that the astonished officials learned for the first time the "Sugihara" in Japanese means...cedar grove.

Mr. Obama, What About the Christians of the Middle East? by Paul Batou

This is from an editorial by an Iraqi ex patriot about the plight of Christians in the Middle East, published by the Assyrian International News Agency. It doesn't look good, especially since the president of the United States has shown more support for Islam than Christianity. You can read the whole editorial here.

Some of the acts of violence committed as reported by the Assyrian International News Agency:

"*A two month infant was kidnapped, beheaded, roasted, and returned to his parents.
*14 year old Ayad Tariq was considered a "dirty Christian sinner" and decapitated.
*Fr. Paulos Iskander (Paul Alexander) was kidnapped, beheaded and dismembered.
*Five priests were kidnapped and released after ransom was paid. Five other priests and three deacons were murdered.
*59 churches were attacked or bombed since June 2004: 40 in Baghdad, 13 in Mosul, 5 in Kirkuk and 1 in Ramadi.
*At least 13 young women were abducted and raped, causing some of them to commit suicide.
*Female students were targeted in Basra and Mosul for not wearing veils; some had nitric acid squirted onto their faces. Elders of a village in Mosul were warned not to send females to universities.
*Mahdi Army circulated a letter warning all Christian women to veil themselves.
*Christian businesses were targeted. 95% of liquor stores were attacked, defaced or bombed. 500 Assyrian shops in a Dora market were burned in one night
*Children were kidnapped and forcibly transferred to Arabs and Kurdish families.
*Property was confiscated by Kurds in the North and in the south by Shiites and Sunnis.
*Kurdish authorities forced public works projects to divert water and other vital resources from Assyrian Villages to Kurdish villages.
*While the Arabs protest for one Muslim killed in Europe, they are silent for what happen to the Christians of Iraq, the people of Darfur, or the Coptic in Egypt."

"Yes Mr. President, I did like your message to the Arab world in Cairo. I am not against your action of praising Islam or the Quran, but you failed to address their oppression against non-Arabs or non-Muslims who live in the Middle East. We build 12,000 Mosques in the United States, and many thousands more in Europe, yet not one church is allowed in Saudi Arabia. Mr. President, you failed to ask why. I know the answer, because we are infidels and forbidden in their land."

I don't know how many times I've heard Christophobes in this country and Europe say that Christians are just as bad as Muslims wanting to impose their views and morality on others. I'm just as appalled as anyone else with the headlines of Christians stoning people to death, beheadings and beatings of nonChristians in America and Europe.
