My Big Problem with Pete Buttigieg

Leftist radical Pete Buttigieg, a minor political player from a minor town weighs in on the attack by Iran on the oil tankers. He said Trump lacks credibility, and there’s no real proof Iran did it. So he sides with Iran against the United States. Buttigieg is an anti-Christian bigot homosexual. Iran is a Muslim state, and Muslims murder homosexuals.

The US lets gays go about whatever they want. Won’t see any gays as mayor of any towns in Iran. Maybe enough murdered gays to populate a town.

Buttigieg lies about Christians, specifically Vice President Pence. Pence is super careful about even the perception of impropriety. Buttigieg attacked Pence, who has said only kind words about the untruthful mayor. He said, “That’s the thing that I wish the Mike Pence’s of the world would understand,”  (Pence opposes same-sex marriage). “That if you have a problem with who I am, your problem is not with me. Your quarrel, sir, is with my creator.”

Pence’s response was "I have my Christian values. My family and I have a view of marriage that's informed by our faith. And we stand by that. But that doesn't mean that we're critical of anyone else who has a different point of view." "I have my Christian values. My family and I have a view of marriage that's informed by our faith. And we stand by that. But that doesn't mean that we're critical of anyone else who has a different point of view." Pence has also said he’s had a great working relationship with Buttigieg and has worked very closely with him.  

Given the number of Christians in this country, well, probably not a good idea to attack them. This by a guy the claims he can unite people.

He is of course pro-abortion, pro-union, pro-LGBT, for the ‘green new deal’ though he’s done some back pedaling on that when it turned out to be so massively unpopular. He’s anti-second amendment, thinks climate change is a national security threat, wants every house in America to be a ‘net zero’ consumer of energy, and is for single payer health care. He is open borders, but its nuanced so people not paying close attention won’t think so.

He touts his overseas military service like it’s a brave thing he's done. He was there in Afghanistan, living a comfortable life, in the NATO coalition's Afghanistan Threat Finance Cell in Kabul. Mostly he was his bosses’ driver. He had to be armed doing that, so has a bunch of pictures of himself looking armed and manly. He spent seven months there (some say nine).  In ‘Nam we called these guys Rear Echelon Mother F**kers (REMF’s). He was an accountant and driver. Worthless in combat. A lot of  REMF’s were good at disrespecting those of us in the field.

So with him supporting the New Green Deal, single payer health care, being an anti-Christian bigot (while claiming to be a Christian no less) and using a bogus military profile, this guy is as phony as a three dollar bill. My disgust with him started when I found out he was misrepresenting himself at the beginning and changed to the truth once he got on the political map. 

Counter Culture 1 - Katie Hopins

Some of my fellow socio-political economic religious thinkers get almost depressed or feel hopeless, seeing our civilization being beat down. It seems no one is fighting back and speaking for the regular folks. This and a couple of other posts I’m setting up today is just to make a few of you on the edge of despair aware of a couple things and a few people that have the intellect, honesty, skills and abilities to effect change and push back.  

Katie Hopkins is a media presenter, commentator and journalist. She’s part of the counter cultural movement against anti free speech, anti-freedom, and the outrages of the elites that ignore our votes.  Some examples are ignoring the vote on Brexit, massive illegal immigration push into Europe, and in the US protecting our southern border. This is a half hour vid that covers just about all the issues of our own “leaders” killing western civilization. I first saw her on Tucker Carlson and on Stefan Molyneux’ YouTube program. Both interviews were great and worth watching. This is just full bore Hopkins. I hope you watch it. Leftists, secularists, elitists will hate it. They should watch it too; step out of their bubble. 



And of course the Left engages in mudslinging and hate speech against her.

On Memorial Day, When Leftist Thanks Me for My Service, Why I Reject It.

This Memorial Day I of course honor, kneel and pray for those that made the ultimate sacrifice. I kneel and pray specifically for those I personally served with and knew, whose names are now on the Vietnam Memorial. I kneel and pray for the half of this country that reject everything these men died for, that are doing everything they can to take away our freedom, and destroy all vestige of tradition that built up the greatest nation in the history of man. I pray for them to recognize that all they support denies people all the liberties we have sacrificed for.

These people attack and have been fairly successful in destroying, or at least diminishing the traditional family, church and religion [specifically Jews and Christians], the military, free speech, the right to bear arms. Our civil religion is based in the Constitution on which the Left has launched a full on assault.

The men that died to defend this country from imperialism, Nazism, Fascism, and Communism I sometimes think and feel did so in vain. The totalitarian mindset of the Left rejects Liberty, and embraces Statism. We have a government that is most of the way to controlling everything in our lives; what we can say to what we eat.

Everything in the Declaration of Independence they reject.

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…” They don’t believe in a Creator, and believe the people only have the rights those that govern say they can have.

The list that follows the opening statement, with some modifications, is what we are facing again. The people in power and with influence, politically and culturally, reject the liberties the Declaration and the Constitution say we as a free people should have.

These Military fought and died for and the Left rejects.

Most of the people that signed the Declaration sacrificed their lives or lost everything if they survived. Statists are saying they are nothing but dead white males and slave owners and we should reject what they said, did, and wrote. From that I can only deduce they abhor those that lost lives in the Civil War to free the slaves, WWI to stop horrific murderous imperialism, WWII to stop Nazism and Fascism, Korea and Vietnam to stop Communism, and the Cold War to stop the Soviet Union and their imperialist/communist aggression. Leftists during the Bolshevik Revolution and after, through the Cold War were supporters of the Soviet Union or at least apologists for them.

The historical evidence is clear. The Left/Statists reject the liberties, the freedoms, the rights enumerated in the Declaration and the Constitution. They reject and hate the military. Whenever they’re in power they slash military spending endangering the people of this country. They are the ones that harassed soldiers coming home from Viet Nam.

From all this, if any Leftist/Democrat thanks me for my service, or makes any pro-military statements on Memorial or Veterans Day, I reject it. They are hypocrites and liars.

Communist (self proclaimed), Racist and Truther Van Jones who served, along with several other Communists and Racists in the Obama Administration, said the following:

"Shouldn’t we have the right and the liberty to be energy producers and not be dictated to twelve times a year by energy companies that dictate how much we’re going to pay for energy, when we’re going to pay it, how many asthma inhalers we’re going to have as a consequence?  Shouldn’t we have the liberty as Americans to power this country in a new way?

If all you care about is individual economic liberty and you don’t give a hoot about justice, you get a different type of tyranny.  You get corporate tyranny.  No, no.  They say, 'Well, Obama is a socialist, you see?  The government is trying to take over the economy.'  BS.  The corporations are trying to take over the government!  That’s what’s happening!"

The wording is key. Working for a corporation that you can walk away from, buying from a company you can walk away from is tyranny. Submitting to a government that can fine and jail you if you don't comply with their rules, is liberty.

Notice how Leftists always call a baby in the womb a fetus? Women's right to choose or reproductive rights is the languaging. Bring up there's a baby in there, a human being, they get all in a tizzy. No it's not! Control the language, control the debate. It's why it's so hard to talk to these people. They refuse, by design, to use normal language, but "reframe" it into their own. 

The source of this idea of using language to alter reality, put the debate in one's own terms is from "The Little Blue Book". Like Mao's "Little Red Book". Guides to effective totalitarianism.  A character named George Lakoff is the author of this, and it turns out he's as exalted by the Left as much as Saul Alinski.   

In an interview with Leftist Charlie Rose a few days ago Obama said: “When I think about what we’ve done well and what we haven’t done well, the mistake of my first term – couple of years – was thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right. And that’s important. But the nature of this office is also to tell a story to the American people that gives them a sense of unity and purpose and optimism, especially during tough times.”…  Ummmm, so it's not so important to have policies that work, but to have a good message?  More of Our Dear Leader: "It's funny - when I ran, everybody said, well he can give a good speech but can he actually manage the job?" ... "And in my first two years, I think the notion was, 'Well, he's been juggling and managing a lot of stuff, but where's the story that tells us where he's going?' And I think that was a legitimate criticism". 

Notice whenever a Dem loses and election they never say the issue was the content of their policies, but they didn't get the message out? That idea comes from "The Little Blue Book". You know, the one kinda like the Communist "Little Red Book",  the latter of which several in the Obama Administration openly admire.

This has to do with his concepts of "labeling" and "frames". You just create a frame to fit your message, people will start believing it. One can throw in a lot of false metaphors to give the false impression of  'this is the truth'. Thus, if you fail, it's because you used the wrong frames and labeling, creating the wrong message, so people misunderstand. So you can then label a program as cost reducing when it isn't, and say it still is, we just didn't say it right. Yeah, I know, they actually believe that. Really and truly. If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it's a dog. Labeling. Framing. 

Lakoff and his coauthor Elizabeth Wehling view conservatives as stupid and desirous of a controlling father figure government, i.e. totalitarian. This is because Conservative families have strict overbearing fathers, even controlling their submissive wives. Liberal families have co-equal moms and dads, and the result is liberty loving smart kids. Really, he says these things. Leftists live by it, even if they don't know the guy or his book.

That Conservatives are totalitarian and Leftists the liberty lovers gets turned on its head by the evidence noted even by citizens paying little attention to the culture wars or politics. Backfire.

As noted earlier, Obama still blames the message. Come November when he looses to Romney, he'll still claim his policies were correct, evidence to the contrary, and his message was flawed. He'll think too, like Leftists do, that the citizens are stupid and just didn't get it, how good they had it under Our Dear Leader's Regime.

California's Leftist Establishment Debt Reflects the Rest of Us

How or why is it possible the Democrat Party gets away with being the establishment since the 1930’s, with a couple years off here and there, running up massive city, state and federal debt, increasing poverty, crushing liberty, and keep getting re-elected by successfully blaming Republicans?  Truly a mystery.

California is a microcosm of this. Arnold Schwarzenegger joked in his actor days, when asked about his being a Republican and his wife a Democrat, that being a Democrat was a disease. Guess so. He went from being a Libertarian to a Socialist due to this destructive virus that convinces people submission to the State equals freedom.

Democrats have forever been in power in California. Businesses are fleeing, and even Leftist Hollywood types are claiming residences elsewhere to protect their incomes and assets. Not that there’s any inherent hypocrisy there. The main result of this massive fleeing is the state has had a $3.5 billion tax income shortfall. They are now $16 billion in debt.

The in control forever Democrats mumble about budget cuts and never do. They raise taxes, causing more people, even hypocritical Leftists to leave, further reducing the tax base. Jerry “Moonbeam” Brown, repeat failed governor of the late great state, while advocating (but apparently not meaning it) budget cuts is also trying to convince voters to give themselves a tax increase. The voters need to do that because two thirds of the legislature is needed to raise taxes and there's barely enough Republicans to vote no. Of course what the Dems want to cut is fire and police protection, education and other things that should be the priorities of government. They could cut providing free health care, social security, and myriad other benefits to undocumented Democrats (illegal immigrants) and save $billions. That’s the main budget buster.

Yet, even though they created the problems (assisted by RINO’s), when Republicans offer up a budget that just may work, they are racists and fat cats wanting to oppress the poor even more. Same at the Federal level.     

Under Governor Brown’s tax plan, the state sales tax would “temporarily” be raised by a quarter of a cent, and an income tax increase on people making $250,000 and up. I used to live in California and there are temporary taxes from the 1970’s still in place. Of course more business and people will leave as a result. The result of that result is the bulk of the population are the illegal, the poor, and the barely making it middle class.

The top ten states most in debt, per capita are Hawaii, California, New Jersey, North Dakota, Massachusetts, Delaware, Rhode Island, Oregon and Connecticut. Want to guess which political party rules the roost in those? Top cities in debt trouble are New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Diego to name but a few, and are controlled by what political party?

Here’s a couple California Democrat legislators and their attitude toward the problem and Republicans. Even though they’re federal, the groupthink mindset is the same of state legislators.

Nancy Pelosi:

“This isn’t just about them saying we should reduce the deficit.”  “This is an excuse. The budget deficit is an excuse for the Republicans to undermine government plain and simple. They don’t just want to make cuts, they want to destroy. They want to destroy food safety, clean air, clean water, the department of education. They want to destroy your rights.” …“What we’re trying to do is save the world from the Republican budget. We’re trying to save life on this planet as we know it today.”

Rep. Barbara Lee:

“The current, so-called ‘debt crisis’ has been completely manufactured by House Republicans attempting to advance an extremist agenda. This should be a simple vote to allow the US Treasury to fund all of the programs and obligations of the entire federal government that are already in the law.” (Just how stupid is this woman? Where does she think the money in the Treasury comes from? Does she not know there is no money in the Treasury, the we’ve shot down way past zero?)

There’s a bunch of these characters calling Republicans terrorists for wanting to have a sensible budget. Really.

Beginning in the 1960’s being antiestablishment really took off, though it was just increasing the power of the Leftist establishment. Now the real antiestablishment people are conservatives. It’s tough to overcome nearly eighty years of the entrenched Leftist establishment. Back to the opening question, how or why are citizens still supporting an establishment and political party that have put us $trillions in debt, graduate uneducated children, protect criminals more than law abiding citizens, reduce fire and police support, reduce military protection, not protect the borders, and support deviant behavior over traditional behavior that has proven beneficial to individuals and society. Boggles the mind.

I can only hope this election can at least slow down this decadent destructive disastrous diminishing of America. Become a radical, overthrow the establishment!

American Socialism: The Promise, The Dream, The Reality

The Dream of the Left

Whenever I get the urge to engage a Leftist in a discussion of their political and economic views, I’m astounded what they think Socialism is. Most, if not all, put forth the notion that America is already a Socialist nation; that combining the public’s resources to pay for roads, education, law enforcement, fire departments, and the military are examples of socialism. It comes down to definitions, so I thought I'd flesh some out.

We’ve moved away from the dated Marxist model to something ever more insidious. Random House Dictionary:

“…a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital, land, etc., in the community as a whole.”

The ‘insidious’ part is that our government doesn’t need to claim ownership anymore, it can just control. Obama and the Dems tried outright ownership of GM, Chrysler and some financial institutions by using printed money and taxes not yet collected to purchase them, and it has been rejected by a majority of the American people. Through regulation though, control had become key. The private sector can’t breathe because the python of government has so constricted it.

Here’s the breakdown; public provision of non-public goods and central planning. According to economists, public and non-public goods have what’s known as rivalry and excludability. Rivalry is if one person uses something, another person is denied that thing. A road doesn’t fit this, because someone using that road doesn’t deny usage by another. Something that’s excludable has access limited to who wants to pay for that good or service.

Those things mentioned before, law enforcement, roads, etc., are public goods, they’re non-rivalry and not exclusive. The other things that my Leftist friends identify as public goods like welfare and Obamacare are excludable. This may be well intended, but everyone is forced to pay for them regardless of whether they use them or not.

Central control, or using the Marxist phrase, central planning, the Soviets and Chinese Communists implemented, and our government is implementing the same. This is where the ‘socialism’ part comes in. We keep getting legislation passed that regulates the private sector, in fact controlling it, plus legislation creating ‘public goods’ that only a small sector of the population uses. That’s the control part. We are, as a nation, moving closer to having all goods and services controlled by the government. The stated goal by Democrats and other Leftists (and yes, some Republicans) is to ensure a leveling of incomes through redistribution (mostly through progressive taxation).

This provides control of goods and services usually provided by the private sector. That it’s successful as a method of redistribution was brought in to question by an overt Communist, the Left’s much admired Mikhail Gorbachev.

“Wage leveling has a destructive impact not only on the economy but also on people’s morality, and their entire way of thinking and acting. It diminishes the prestige of conscientious, creative labor, weakens discipline, destroys interest in improving skills, and is detrimental to the competitive spirit in work. We must say bluntly that wage-leveling is a reflection of petty bourgeois view which have nothing in common with Marxism-Leninism or scientific socialism.”

Since the inception of the Democrats “War on Poverty”, we have the same amount of poverty in this country.

Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac, a vital part of the private sector real estate market have lost billions of dollars, is controlled by the government. The government doesn’t have to own Fanny and Freddie; it just needs to control them. Traditional socialism was about ownership of production; now the insidious part is the Socialists just need to control, not own it. It runs in the background, so not many pay attention to it. They're busy working and raising families. That’s why we hear the Democrats always saying we need more regulation, it’s how they control, quietly.

Leftists control education, the auto industry, the banking industry, the agricultural industry, the real estate industry, the financial and insurance industries, and have done so putting forth the idea this control is for the purpose of redistributing the wealth. It’s in fact about redistributing power from the people to themselves.   

Helen Thomas, The Left, The Media and Anti-Semitism

Helen Thomas' now infamous antisemitic remarks have gotten massive coverage.


The Left, while not entirely embracing antisemitism, is supportive of it. The Left were apologists for the horrors of the Soviet Union and Communism, were supportive of Italy's fascism, and has supported fascism since its inception. The support is nice, and friendly, the 'we just want to get along' kind of thing. In Nazi Germany, the fuel that led to genocide of Jews, is the same acceptance of antisemitism we see now on the Left. Nazism is not right wing as Leftists keep teaching, and repeating; it was a socialist party, Statist through and through. I responded recently on Facebook to someone that gave moral equivalence to Hamas, PLO, Palestinians, and that whole group, stating the US is just as bad if not worse. How horrible is it that American Citizens see no distinction between their country and terrorist states that slaughter people because they are Jews, or are supporters, or even sympathetic to Jews?

Below are some examples of the support given to antisemitism, that were in response to Thomas' antisemitic remarks.

The vile Keith Olbermann of MSNBC gave Thomas a pass in his 'Worst Person' segment for her remarks, and instead named Rabbi David Nessenoff, the man that exposed Thomas. Nessenoff received 25,000 hate emails for posting the vid. Leftists, not Conservatives, or Evangelical Christians, sent these. Not endorsing antisemitism, but being an apologist for it, and accepting it.

From the Leftist Daily Kos: "This diary is mostly about the smear campaign aimed at Helen Thomas and how right wing propaganda easily mixes with Israeli propaganda. It is a story that people would label me as crazy if I didn't have the facts to back it up. How could such a good natured woman have so many people denounce her without even knowing the effort that went into it? How could so many people turn their backs on her even though she served her country in a way that most civilians never could?" Not endorsing antisemitism, but making excuses for it. Accepting it.

Comedy Central's Stephen Colbert: "Jesus Christ on a matzo cracker, Helen. What were you thinking?" "You don't just blurt out racially charged comments on camera." As he was accepting of her antisemitic comments, he also charged Conservative radio talk show hosts for saying the same kinds of things on their radio shows. A blatant lie. They wouldn't have shows if they did. Leftists have to say those things to distract from their own antisemitism.

Still not certain if the statement made by Thomas was sufficiently antisemitic? The statement has been praised by Hezbollah MP Hussein Moussawi: "Respected American journalist Helen Thomas's answer shows ... a courageous, bold, honest and free opinion which expresses what people across the globe believe: that Israel is a racist state of murderers and thugs."

This isn't the first time Thomas has made remarks reflecting her antisemitism, and has always been give a pass. In 2002, she asked White House Spokesman Ari Fleischer, "Does the president think that the Palestinians have a right to resist 35 years of brutal military occupation and suppression?" Mark Rabin, a freelance cameraman working for CNN at the time, said Thomas had said to him "thank God for Hezbollah" [for driving Israel out of Lebanon] and "Israel is the cause for 99 percent of all this terrorism."

Salon.com also gives a pass to antisemitism. It blames the firing (resignation) of Thomas, not on antisemitic remarks, but on ageism and sexism. They again repeated the lie that Conservative talk show hosts say worse things and get away with it. The obvious problem is that this is a diversion as well as a lie, and if it were true, and that talk show hosts were getting away with it, does pointing out the wrongs of another justify? Anna Clark: "Now, I'm afraid that this is the legacy Thomas will be left with: Because she wasn't perfect, she was terrible." "In fact, of course, Thomas is neither perfect nor terrible. What she represents is that uncomfortable reminder that our heroes are not infallible. They are not everything we want them to be, no matter how much we pretend otherwise. Our heroes will disappoint, sometimes egregiously." No Anna, Helen Thomas is a terrible person, and antisemitic, and you're supporting antisemitism by supporting her.

Andrea Mitchell and Savannah Guthrie of MSNBC are apologists for antisemitism. Mitchell said Thomas just had “passionate views”. Guthrie: “It doesn’t mitigate what she said, but she’s also 89-years-old." Antisemitism justified by ageism?

Jonathan Alter of Newsweek and MSNBC : "But she`s Lebanese. She`s a Lebanese American. And you do have to understand, you know, some of the history of the region and the feelings in the region, and not necessarily judge somebody who thinks of Israel as an occupying power as by definition an anti-Semite because they think Israel is occup-" (crosstalk cut off) He also used ageism to justify. So if you're old and of Lebanese descent, it's okay to be antisemitic?

Joe Scarborough, MSNBC host and commentator that has moved from being a RINO to a full blown Leftist, made excuses for her. Huffington Post made excuses for her.

What we have here is the Leftist Media supporting antisemitism by giving it a pass, by not speaking out against it. That, anyway, would be tough for them to do, because, they, like the Democrat Party, and our President, support Palestine and Hamas, and not Jews and Israel.

Hey! Let's Forget What We Did, It's Really Tea Party Movement That's Violent

Even though the Left, Dems and Jurassic Press have only been able to release a few angry voice mails with expletives deleted, they would have everyone believe that they are the victims of extreme right wing violence. Meanwhile, a real attempted murder on a Republican, Congressman Eric Cantor, goes essentially unmentioned. The guy has actually been arrested for plotting to kill Cantor. Tea Party people go out in the middle of the desert (Searchlight) and protest, go to town hall meetings, local Tea Party protests, and march on DC, yet most of the hate speech and violence reported in the press at those events were by plants by Democrat operatives, moveon.org knuckleheads, and SEIU thugs. I've documented these incidents in previous blogs. Here's a stroll down memory lane on how Bush, Cheny and Rove were treated by the Left for eight years, and it was entirely acceptable by the Democrat Party, Peolsi, Reid, and the rest of that bunch.

Two Faced Libs

Liar, offered bribes (hush money to extramarital lover, probably with campaign money), affair while wife fighting cancer, love child from extramarital affair, built a mansion while telling the rest of us to sacrifice with higher taxes and a lower standard of living. Press covered up the affair until it no longer could, and gave him a pass on everything.

NY Times releases US government secrets during Bush administration. During Obama administration, are we hearing anything? What, the government is all the sudden doing everything right and above board?

Bush's war on terror had everything labeled as horrifying. Renditions, Gitmo, waterboarding, torture...whatever could be found. Gitmo is still open. Anything? Nope. I'd say Bush lied! about closing it. Ooooops, wrong guy. Well, we do have this president still blaming Bush, so that gets reported. How about assassinations? Predator drones are killing bad guys. Cindy Sheehan is really pissed off about this! Why isn't she getting massive coverage like she did during the Bush administration? Is she camped out at the personal residence of Obama? Where is the Obama's home anyway? Is it still that questionably financed one in Chicago?

For a year, Dems controlled the Senate, controlled the Executive Branch, controlled the House of Representatives, and the Jurassic Press was ecstatic. Now, after a year of failed economic policies, bailing out corporations that had paid off Obama's political party, failed foreign policy (the bad guys are even acting out worse)...guess what? The Dems and their lap dinosaurs of the Jurassic Press are no longer ecstatic, and all these bad things happened because of the powerless, out of power, Republicans. They don't have the votes to do squat. The Dems could pass anything they want.But...it's the Republicans fault we're in this mess!

Transformations

Adventures in Leftist Blogs

In my previous blog I talked about what happened when I made a few comments on a leftist blog. I do this every once in a while, always with respect, and always with the same result. Leeza, to her credit, did not let a lot of vile hatred happen, so kudos to her. However, the exchange to follow is pretty standard. I had one of my replies deleted by her because it was 'snarky', an odd word coming into pop lexicon. I challenged what was 'snarky' in my reply.

Well, maybe 'snarky' wasn't really the issue. "The comment you're replying to, Steven, was deleted because it deprecated someone's personal appearance. I've communicated with the relevant MySpacer, who understands why I deleted it."

I asked: "I would like to know the specific insult. I don't remember insulting anyone. I need to know this, so if I was over the line, I don't do it again. Thanks"

Then: "The comment about someone's personal appearance was in the comment you were replying to; it was not in your comment."

OH! Making sure I'm respectful, "Plus, if the insult were too egregious to state here, please leave me a message via MySpace. Thanks"

OH! "It's not a matter of how egregious a statement is - deprecating or mocking someone's physical appearance is not acceptable period. At any rate, the disparaging word was not yours."

Oh... still I was deleted. Thing is, on leftist blogs, if one doesn't adhere to the predictable attacks, political correctness and Party Line, well then. Where's Stalin when you really need him? Leeza and her readers appear interested only in their own choir, and don't so much value a different perspective. The subject of the past two days has been about the "right" making much ado about Obama's teleprompter and his 'special olympics' gaff. Pretty much the conservative blogs have moved on, and this is a running joke and an aside, not the topic of conversation.

I must say too that there are a few Conservative blogs that do this, but for the most part are more tolerant and more points of view are discussed.

I'll adventure on to another Leftist blog a few months from now, and I suspect that they will be praising all the leftist moves to socialize, nationalize, impoverish, dumb down kids even more, and silence the opposition. Always fun, and makes my point about leftist hypocrisy and narrow mindedness.

Response to a Posting on a Leftist Blog

Every once in a while I post a conservative or Christian value, position or observation on a Leftist blog. I already know what the response is going to be, as 'Simply Amy' has observed. I just want to continue to make the point that these people preach tolerance, but don't practice it. They preach open mindedness, but won't even entertain any notion they haven't already set in their heads. Leeza from NY is one of the most popular blogs on MySpace, and I've posted a few blogs there. Not the usual unbridled hatred one usually receives from leftist blogs. She has rules about vulgarity, racism, etc. which I naturally do anyway. She had written a couple blogs, and her readers responded, about how the right wing is getting all in a tizzy about Obama's gaffs the past few days. I had pointed out that it must be okay to mock Bush, conservatives, Christians etc, but it's not okay to do the same to Obama. Double Standard. Well, Leeza deleted that blog, because it was 'snarky'. Hmmmm, did not see that in the list of rules to post a reply to a blog. So I responded to the deletion with this additional reply. "So sorry I was "snarky" for pointing out that Bush has been getting bashed and putting up with unbridled, vile, pure hatred from the left for nine years or more. Like I said before you deleted my observations, that were not profane, racist, or vulgar, just 'snarky', that there there are several books of 'Bushisms", and a huge successful money making (capitalist) cottage industry of 'hate Bush'. He's not in public office now, yet he's still getting beat upon. As for the comment "I have never seen so much nearly hysterical hate thrown at another public figure"; how about the cheers and wishes that Cheney would die painfully when he had another heart attack, or hopes that Sarah Palin would be gang raped, or when Nancy Reagan fell and broke her hip there were laughter and cheers that they hoped it hurt like hell. So when Bush misspoke he was stupid, but when Obama misspeaks, he's only human. That humor can only be applied to those that are conservative, republican, Christian or rednecks...all that's okay, but humor, jokes, satire, and laughter at someone that is liberal is not okay. The rules of this blog is that's it's to be an exchange of ideas, and I came on here to offer a conversation, as did Simply Amy, and I get deleted because I played by the rules, but it was snarky, and got deleted. Here's another snarky comment: it looks like liberals can dish it out, but not take it. I guess conservatives, republicans and Christians are not 'only human' after all. I came on this blog in good faith that I would be treated fairly and there would be a conversation. I've taken hits on my blog for my values, beliefs, and observations, but I've never deleted them (all played by my blog rules, the same ones posted here)."

We shall see if this gets deleted too. I think it's even more 'snarky'. If it does get deleted, again, I will have proved my point, again, that the Left is intolerant, hold people to standards they don't live up to themselves, and show that Christians don't have the market cornered on hypocrisy. I'll keep you posted.(I had a couple misspellings in there, corrected here, to see if our Leftists friends seized upon that to hurl personal insults. That is the usual tact.)

Observations After Several Days Away

After the election I took a hiatus from the news and politics for about two weeks. I spent three days in Van Nuys at the 'Church on the Way' and heard several pastors/theologians speak on the "Kingdom of God", which I much prefer living in. Our world is upside down, and the changes promised by the pretender to the throne are no changes at all, but a rejection of traditional western values, Christianity and its freedom from the State, and divers other beliefs. I'm back to the news now, and ready again to be a warrior for free minds and free markets. Here is some of what I'm seeing after nearly two weeks of disassociating from politics and news:

Sarah Palin is still getting attacked, all of it based on lies. She didn't buy a bunch of clothes and force people to put the charges their personal credit cards. She knows Africa is a continent. She knows the difference between a city and a state. The list is long. One of the things we must do is kick out the 'rinos' (Republicans In Name Only), and that includes McCain and his staff. Good grief, Palin was on the loosing team, she's gone back to her state, and 'rino's' are still lying and attacking; being cowardly about it too…they won't even step up and be identified.

Prop 8 in California. Overwhelmingly passed by the people, a second time, for a constitutional amendment to state that marriage is between a man and a woman. Gays have civil unions, which give them all the legal rights of married people. They started out saying that's all they wanted. Their purpose though is to destroy the foundation of civilization, which is the family; a male and female joining together, becoming one flesh, producing and rearing children. For us religious people, this is a sacred commission, formed and supported by God. The gay response is not, like civilized, tolerant citizens, to work through the democratic process, accept their loss and make the best of it, but to be intolerant, destructive, vile, hateful, and barbaric. Some examples of their behavior: Protesters shoved aside a sixty-nine year old woman bearing a cross, reportedly spit on her and stomped on her cross. They then aligned themselves in a human barricade, blocking the media from getting to or interviewing the elderly woman (I've seen the video). Calvary Chapel Chino Hills was spray painted by vandals, after they learned that the church served as an official collection point for Prop 8 petitions. Letters containing white powder (obviously mimicking anthrax) were sent to the Los Angeles headquarters of the Mormon Church and to a temple in the Salt Lake City.
(Thankfully, the FBI said the substance tested nontoxic.) A 25-year veteran artistic director for the California Musical Theatre, who also happens to be a Mormon, was muscled to resign because of his $1,000 donation to the campaign to ban gay marriage in California. A pro-homosexual, pro-anarchy organization named Bash Back marched into the middle of a church service, flinging flyers and condoms to the congregants and hanging a banner from the balcony that featured two lesbians in provocative positions at the pulpit. Nice. But then again, all those Republicans, conservatives, and evangelicals taking to the streets after the election, destroying property and hurting people were over the top too.

To my Leftist friends: you won. You have your choice for President; both houses of Congress, and the judiciary, are controlled by the Left. You control education from K-University. You control the main stream media. You control entertainment. You have the support and adoration of every totalitarian government, terrorist organization, and non-democratic socialist state. Yet you still destroy, bully, intimidate and protest. This is why I'm a warrior for traditional values, for Christianity, for the Constitution. I believe these things all support and improve the human condition. The Left is set to destroy it. I support those things that made the most amount of people materially comfortable and spiritually fulfilled. I will do my best to stop the destruction. I will start with 'rino's'. They've been happily complicit.
