I find it hard to believe anyone can be undecided about who to vote for in this upcoming election. This should be a final nail to convince those that this man is a liar, says one thing, does another, and claims he has done what he said he was going to do in the first place. This covers every issue from transparency (he had a meeting on transparency and it was closed to the public) to Health Care (he said costs wouldn't go up and they did; it's not even fully implemented yet) to energy (he said before the election that he would bankrupt coal companies and necessarily costs to consumers would skyrocket).

The choice is clear, don't obfuscate. You're either for a communist that is hell bent on impoverishing this country, disarming the citizens, weakening our military beyond any capable functionality, is an anti Christian bigot; or for a successful capitalist that supports a growing economy that benefits all, supports freedom of religion, supports the second amendment, and supports a strong military.

I'm sick of Leftists/Democrats that say they're for the latter, then vote for and behind closed doors work and say the things that are antithetical to what this constitutional republic is about.

I've read some of the Leftist comments about how Romney lied here, and the alleged reporter was right to call him out. Wrong. A reporter only covers what was said, the talking heads and editorial writers challenge. There was even a stupid comment that Romney was violating free speech of the alleged reporter. Good grief, how is that even possible? A single man? Has anyone ever seen Obama challenged during his campaign speeches? Ever?

Here are some stories of true compassion of Mitt Romney and his family. The Re-elect Obama Media will not show these because it runs against their narrative that Romney is out of touch and lacks compassion. We have to ask, how many people have Barack Obama and his family reached out to, personally intervened, reached out and helped someone. Remember George, Barack's brother that lives in squalor in a hut in Africa. When George needed about a thousand dollars for medical care, he called Dinesh D'Sousa, who had interviewed him, for help. He didn't ask his brother Barack.

Romney is a good man that Leftists/Dems have done their best to demonize, to create the perception he's evil incarnate. As is known to us political junkies, this is out of the Saul Alinski playbook. Isolate and negatively personalize the opponent. Given the un-success of Obama, it's all they've got.

Here's some good things about a good man. Time was when success was lauded. The Leftist meme is if one is successful and has gotten rich, it's because that wealth was at the cost of the poor; not that it's created. Romney gave his inheritance to charity, and pretty much started his adult life from scratch. I'm sure he had connections, but they had to be used wisely. Plenty of people have connections, or money, and squander it. Romney is estimated to be worth somewhere in the range of $200 million. He's given $millions to charity and his church. He's been chairman of the board, CEO, a bishop in his church, a governor, and saved the Winter Olympics. One doesn't have that kind of success without investing a lot of time and money coupled with dedication and drive.

Opposite that is this attitude. A woman at work was complaining about her wage, and how she should make more money, get a raise. I asked her if she was learning other skills and had applied for a supervisory position. No, she didn't want to do that, but it was only fair she make more money anyway. What a difference in motivation and attitude. A man at work made some comment about the rich, the lack of fairness or something of the haves to have-nots, so I asked him if it was so easy to be rich, why wasn't he?

Back to Romney. He's worth more, has generated more personal wealth than the last eight presidents combined. That indicates to me he knows how things work.

He's created a trust fund for his grandkids, estimated at $11.8 million. I do know too that he and his sons make sure those kids do chores and contribute; they're not pampered. I suspect they too will grow up to know how things work. Mitt Romney and his wife Ann made sure their own sons did. Is providing for one's family into the future part of the American Dream? Apparently the political opposition thinks not. (They would rather government provide the function, for nefarious reasons.)

There's the now famous story of how he shut down the company in 1996 and flew employees to New York to look for 14 year old Melissa Gay, daughter of an employee. Two hundred employees fanned out across New York City, worked with police and detectives, and found the child. Character. 

He doesn't indulge in a ostentatious display of wealth. The Romney's don't have maids and butlers. They don't drive flashy cars. They don't have flashy homes. Think of all the wealthy Hollywood actors, singers and rappers, pro athletes, with their Ferraris and bling, and the multi-million dollar mansions. Hear the Left attacking them?   

Turns out he often fly's coach. There's a story he was doing so, flying back from the Vancouver Winter Olympics and some guy went into a rage and took a swing at him. Romney didn't press charges. Romney could have his own fleet of planes if he wanted, doesn't need to fly commerical.

This is a successful man, and the political opposition wants to make that an issue? That because he's successful he's evil?

This is a good man that loves his wife and cared for her when she was seriously ill and bed ridden. He did the grocery shopping and cooked the meals. He's been a successful governor. The Left will dispute this, but when you look at the top ten financially stressed states and their fleeing populations, nearly all are run by Dem governors. That didn't' happen in Mass. He's provided for his family and raised good kids. He saved the Olympics and showed a profit; it was $millions in debt when he took over. His company Bain has saved dozens of companies from going belly up, and kept their employees jobs; an about 80% success rate. So much so that many anti-Romney, pro Marxist unions and others in the pro-Obama public sector have invested $millions in Bain to manage their retirement and other investment funds.

This man has an extraordinary record of success, both personally and professionally.  This is to be excoriated, hated and despised?

The End of Obamaland is at Hand

Even Leftists have to have jobs, feed their kids and pay for their housing. No amount of excuses and lies, spins and deceptions can cover the fact Obama's presidency is toast. Even during the summer, vacation time, no school time, generally play time for citizens, the unemployment numbers are glaringly bad. Over a $trillion a year is added to the debt. Energy and gas costs are up. Houses are loosing value. Food stamp dependence is up. Homelessness is up. He's attacked the Catholic Church. He and his political party have forced a health care program that less than half of citizens want or wanted. Doctors are beginning to leave their jobs. Health costs are rising. I think even Leftists are coming to the realization our country is in grave danger of cultural and economic collapse.

I suspect 40%-43% of the country will vote for devastation and failure no matter what. They will do so because Obama is black and\or believe in communist ideology. It's an amazing thing so many would rather live under tyranny rather than be free.

Obama came to office with his way paved by others, and didn't rise to power by merit. I'm reminded when I write this, he and the Democrats keep trying to make an issue of Romney's wealth, which was developed over a long period of time with great risk and investment, not to say a mastery of business and economics. Obama never invested anything of his own, never risked anything, and never mastered anything. He's a charlatan. That word comes from the French, a seller of medicines which do not work, a swindler that does this for money and fame. When caught, especially in America, they were run out of town, tarred and feathered. We're much more civilized now, Obama will simply be voted out of office. If what happened in the 2010 elections when over 60 House and Senate seats were lost by the Democrats, and the recent win by Ted Cruz in Texas, plus the win over government\Democrat supported union thugs in Wisconsin is an indicator taken seriously, it has to be Obama and the Dems recognize their backs are against the political wall.

Citizens can see, even feel, the failure of results generated by this president. They don't need to get in the weeds of economics and politics, all his violations of the Constitution he's engaged in, to know, this man is a failure, and his failures are dividing and destroying this country. By him and his party attacking what nearly everyone sees as a decent, hard working, successful businessman and family man; by attacking his wife and children, does not grow the respect for Obama that is needed for a win of the presidency. It's all because there is only failure and blame to run on, no successes to point to.

Even the Re-elect Obama Press can no longer cover what an incompetent fake Obama is. No complacency though. He's getting funds and support from totalitarians all over the world, the funds illegal of course, but the  law never stops this man-child. He and the Democrats will cheat, get a huge number of illegals to vote, and do anything they can to remain in power. The well being of the country be damned.

The Dems and Obama have been pounding Romney to release all his tax records since the beginning of forever. Some stupid establishment RINO's have asked the same. Of course if he did, the rest of the campaign would be Romney defending every line of every return. Romney knows this, though I wonder why he hasn't done the obvious; tell Obama he wants a release of all his college, tax, and travel records which are sealed by the most transparent presidency ever.

Obama had a single mom with no apparent steady income. He gets dropped off at his grandparents who have a nominal middle class income. He gets loaded and hangs out with his "choom" gang. He takes month long vacations by train and stays in hotels. Where'd that money come from? His single part time employed mom? His middle class grandparents? How could they afford such a thing? He comes to live on the Mainland for the first time when he goes to Occidental College. Where'd he get the money for that? In his second year there, he travels to  Indonesia, Hyderabad, India , Karachi, Pakistan and Africa. He wasn't working, he was getting loaded and partying. Where'd he get the money? We want to see this tax returns and travel receipts.

From his world travels he returns to Columbia University. Where'd he get the money for that?

From there he goes to work as a community organizer, reportedly a $12,000 a year job, and even in the 1980's not a livable income. While there, this unknown low end guy meets Antoin "Tony" Rezko, who subsequently has been convicted of fraud and bribery. A couple years in Chicago doing this fake low paying job shaking down local government, he's off to Harvard Law School, very very expensive stuff. How did he pay for that?

Done with that, in 2005 he buys a $1.65 million house in Chicago. Where'd he get money for that? Rezko got him a sweetheart deal. Where's the contracts for that? 

Where'd he get the money to run for the state senate seat? Where'd he get the money to run for the Federal Senate Seat? Where are his purchase contracts? Where are his tax returns for all those years? Where are his grade transcripts for those three colleges? Did he take out student loans? Did he or someone else pay them off? Did someone pay for his education if he didn't take out loans? Where are the papers he wrote? He had to have written some to get the degrees he has.

The Left's Hatred of Mormons

The Re-elect Obama Press and the Democrats are trying mightily to convince citizens Conservatives and Evangelicals find Romney's religion a problem. Once again here's some journalistic malpractice. It's them, the Left that has the problem. The Left has a problem with religion in the first place, so have no problem attacking a particular church or religion with the exception of Islam; being Islamophobic they are afraid to criticize.

"Bloomberg Businessweek"  has a cover story mocking Mormons. Of course one would not see such a thing mocking Muslims. Since Leftists can't run on their record of failed banks, high unemployment, a shockingly high fatality rate of soldiers in Afghanistan since Obama took office, a $trillion a year increase in debt, increasing unemployment and homelessness, they have to attack Romney for his wealth and religion, and attack his wife.

Author of the cover story  Caroline Winter describing the church: "...sprawling church-owned corporate empire that the Mormon leadership says is helping spread its message, increasing economic self-reliance, and building the Kingdom of God on earth.” Not a surprising take by an anti-capitalist Leftist. This is a twofer. They can attack the financial success of both Romney and his church at the same time. She even gets an wealth zinger in about the Catholic Church too. No religious bigotry here, nothing to see, move on. 

Putting Republicans' religious beliefs front and center is A-okay! Remember their mockery of Bush saying his best adviser is Jesus Christ? During the Republican debates the Re-elect Obama Press made each of the candidates' religion an issue. Especially Santorum; what a nut he was. Of course Obama's attendance for twenty years at the anti-Christian racist church of Jeremiah Wright was, and is, still off limits.

Alleged film maker Spike Lee (most of his films are racist duds):  "I got faith that they won’t. Honestly, though, the big question is, I think there will be a block of people saying, 'I cannot vote for a Mormon'.  When asked about his support of Obama: I support him; my wife and I gave a benefit for him at our house. But I think this election is going to be close. Bottom line, there are many people in America who look at themselves and say, “Am I better now than I was before?” It is going to be tooth and nail, and I think it is going to get nasty. But, in my opinion, if they are trying to bring up Reverend Jeremiah Wright again, they are really reaching. I hope and pray that people are not going to go for the Willie Horton okeydoke."

Willie Horton? For those not around at the time, Horton was a murdering felon, and Gov. Dukakis had an open door policy, weekend furloughs for murderers and rapists and such. It became a campaign issue when George Bush I brought it up as a policy issue during his campaign. The Dems and their propaganda division the Jurassic Press excoriated Bush for bringing it up, but didn't say anything about the policy itself; Bush was a racist for bringing it up [yes, even then]. Horton committed rape and murder on one of his furloughs. I remember Gore or somebody, a Dem anyway, bringing it up before Bush ever did. That was not reported.

Spike Lee, a racist demanding an end to race discrimination has no problem lying about Mormons and a nonexistent issue citizens have with them. No poll shows a significant number of Conservatives or Evangelicals not voting for Romney because of his religion. Looks like he's for racial tolerance and respect, but not religious.
  

One last note on Mormonism. They are the only group in America to have an extermination order against them. Not even Blacks suffered that.

Not Brought To You By The Re-Elect Obama Press

There were some major stories this week the Re-elect Obama Press neglected to cover. The biggest one not reported by what they tout as their biggest news programs, or news oriented programs, "Good Morning America", "Today" and "CBS This Morning" did not report the House vote to repeal of ObamaCare, and the Democrat's refusing to bring it to a vote in the Senate. On "World News Tonight" and the  CBS Evening News", alleged journalists Diane Sawyer and Scott Pelly, respectively, whined about how horrible it was. Back when I learned journalism, a distinction was made between news and views. Straight up reporting by the pretend pseudo "journalists" would to be just saying, this was the vote, this is how it broke down, who voted yea or nay and why, and what Congressmen and Senators had to say. Period.

What is important to these knuckleheads so far this week is them running with the Democrat talking points that Romney is evil because he's rich, and because he doesn't release his tax returns from the dawn of forever, and why does he have overseas investments, and have money in overseas banks, yada yada yada. What they didn't report is DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz has investments in Swiss Banks,  including Julius Baer Group Ltd. and the State Bank of India GDR Ltd. This is from her disclosure forms required by law for politicians. Here's a few more; Fidelity Advisor Overseas Fund, British HSBC Bank, Rakuten (a Japanese shipping business), Hengdeli Holdings (a Hong Kong watch company), Richemont Cie Financiere (a Swiss luxury goods company), Novo Nordisk (a Danish drug company), Volkswagen (German auto company), to name a few. She's demanded Romney release all his financial information for all his adult life, yet refuses to release her own.

The first female ex-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, demands the same. She's invested heavily in an investment firm specializing in Asia investments, ”Matthews International Capital Management LLC". She's made somewhere between one and five $million. It's hard to say because she refuses to release her financial information like she's demanding of Romney.

The re-elect Obama Press has not reported these investments. Real journalists would report what is being said about Romney and his finances, and balance it with this known info, or lack of it, by his Democrat accusers. He's rich, so it must be dirty and illegal. Well, the alleged journalists are Democrats, so don't color us surprised.

There's no such thing as "insourcing"; alleged journalists and their minders in the Democrat Party made it up. That Romney and Bain sent whatever amount of jobs overseas is just not provable. No one can name specifically what companies sent how many jobs to what country and how many people. Obama with tax payer money, the "stimulus package"  and other Obama policies created jobs or sent money to Finland, New Zealand, Indonesia, India, Mexico, Germany, Australia, Switzerland, China, Denmark, South Korea, the Dominican Republic, Thailand, Vietnam, Italy, Russia, Luxembourg, El Salvador, Great Britain, Spain, Japan, and France. Obama calls this "insourcing". Certainly changes the meaning of the word.

At the end of Romney's speech to the NAACP he got a standing O. Not reported. 

Just a couple things not reported in the Re-elect Obama Press this week.

Dire $traits for the Obama Campaign

We're happy to see the Obama campaign both desperate and not getting much money from donations.  Plus his lies and hypocrisy have reached such a level even some in the Re-elect Obama Press have been forced to report it.

It was reported early in the campaign his fundraising was reaching or reached, hard to tell with sloppy reporting, a billion dollars. Turns out Obama is falling way short, despite having about 160 fundraisers, more than all previous five presidents combined. It looks like doing only that and playing golf while the country falls apart around him isn't getting the job done and even non-political citizens are noticing. Here's a reminder from his 2008 campaign. He agreed to use only public financing campaign money running against McCain, but reneged when he saw way more money coming in than he expected. He also accepted illegal foreign donations, which were returned as far as we can tell. He's at it again on his donation website. By turning off the Address Verification System (AVS) anyone can donate. For those not aware, the AVS is the three digit number on the back of your credit card. A couple people donated, as a test, as Adolf Hitler and John Galt, Ayn Rand's protagonist in Atlas Shrugged. The donations were accepted. The same tests were run on Romney's site, and the donations were rejected. The address for John Galt was 1957 Ayn Rand Lane, Galts Gulch, CO 99999, and Hitler's info was Name – Adolph Hitler... Address – 123 Nuremburg Way, Berlin, Germany... Occupation – Dictator... Employer – Nazi Party.

He also said the presidential seal shouldn't be used, this is in 2008, by the sitting president while campaigning. Guess who's using the presidential seal while campaigning this year.

This guy has asked his supporters, instead of giving birthday and wedding gifts to loved ones, give that money to his campaign. Really and truly.

He's already complaining he's going to be outspent by Romney, which when he loses he'll say is the reason. When that happens, the Re-elect Obama Press will need to be reminded he outspent McCain hugely in 2008. Obama raised $779 million.  McCain,raised only $347 million. During his primary against Hillary Clinton Obama raised $237 million, while she raised $229 million. Things are only "fair" if they break his way. Not that he passed legislation with 20 new taxes, legislation more than half the citizens were against, has had the highest unemployment rate of any president for the longest time since FDR, and has attacked freedom of religion and the right to bear arms incessantly. The list is long of things he's done that citizens don't agree with.

Something else that freaked the Dems out, is after the horrid Supreme Court Decision making ObamaCare constitutional, within days Romney's campaign saw $100 million dollars donated.  Small donations from 47,000 donors generated $4 million in just 24 hours.

We must keep donating to Romney, and most importantly vote. Numbers matter. Obama is doing so badly, assuredly a lot of Dems will stay home. When McCain ran, as an indicator, a lot of Republicans stayed home. Let's hope the same principle applies here.

Democrats\Obama Error Thinking They Can Pit Religious Denominations Against Each Other

Much has been made by the Left, and its propaganda division, the Re-elect Obama Press, about how divisive Romney's Mormonism is among religious people, especially evangelicals. I've always been curious about that term, since Jesus made it clear we are all to evangelize His Testament. I suppose to their narrow, intolerant, uniformed bigoted minds, and evangelical is any person with traditional values and believes Jesus Christ is who He said He is and that makes them right wing extremists.  

Very much of how the Left\Democrats and Obama operate is to divide and pit one group against another; Black vs White, Rich vs Poor, Hispanic vs White, Illegals vs Citizens/ legal immigrants, and whatever else they can come up with, Secular vs Religious. They take a very wrong turn thinking they can pit religious denomination against religious denomination. In the religious community, because of God as the centerpiece, an attack on one is an attack on all.

Even an attack on Mormons is seen as an attack on religion, and cannot be tolerated. When Obama attacked the Catholic Church demanding they jettison a couple thousand years of belief and tradition and provide abortion, contraception and sterilization, all Christians perceived this as an attack on freedom of religion. Of course the Left, as it does, denies it's doing what's wrong when caught. Rev. Rick Warren: “I’m not a Catholic but I stand in 100 percent solidarity with my brothers and sisters to practice their belief against government pressure.” ... “I’d go to jail rather than cave in to a government mandate that violates what God commands us to do. Would you? Acts 5:29.” ["But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men"]

In their letter of protest, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops: “We are already joined by our brothers and sisters of all faiths and many others of good will in this important effort to regain our religious freedom.”

There's been lots of religious persecution in this country by government officials. In 17th century New York (then New Amsterdam) government officials tried banning Jewish immigration; couldn't do that so banned synagogues. Ulysses S Grant issued General Order 111,  to expel all Jews from Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. Lincoln overruled the order. Mormon Reed Smoot was appointed Senator to the new state of Utah, and they refused to swear him in; he eventually was. New York banned Mormon missionaries of the time. The main reason Mormons moved as a group was because in the East, it was open season to kill them. Governor Lilburn Boggs in 1838 issued an order that Mormons “must be exterminated or driven from the state if necessary for the public peace.” That wasn't lifted until 1976.

Secularists, Democrats, Leftists, don't get the unity of the religious. They only understand unity when various groups of people they've divided up decide to become subservient to them, the State. That there are people, like in Acts 5:29, that are subservient to God, not men when the occasion warrants, is incomprehensible to them.

Religious people take the 1st Amendment very seriously, even if Leftists and Our Dear Leader don't. By their continual attacks on the religious, they are creating a huge voting block against themselves.

Private Investment vs Public "Investment"

We hear our anti-capitalist Dear Leader attack investment bankers as evil, though he doesn't use the word. That’s his “evil empire”; not enemies of freedom but venture investment companies like Bain Capital. Our Dear Leader is forever talking about the government (him and Democrats) investing “in our children”, “in health care”, “in manufacturing”, and most importantly “in green jobs”.

Well, let’s do a comparison. Here’s the “investments” by Obama in the “green energy” industry:

About 80% of these companies are in the bag for Obama. “… $16.4 billion of the $20.5 billion in loans granted as of Sept. 15 went to companies either run by or primarily owned by Obama financial backers—individuals who were bundlers, members of Obama’s National Finance Committee, or large donors to the Democratic Party. The grant and guaranteed-loan recipients were early backers of Obama before he ran for president, people who continued to give to his campaigns and exclusively to the Democratic Party in the years leading up to 2008.  Article here.

Here’s a note to your pocketbook. Fossil fuel based energy costs 5 cents per kilowatt hours. “Green” based energy costs 35 cents an hour.  Obama is on vid saying he wants to drive energy costs up. His energy policy by design is to raise the amount of $money it takes to warm and cool your house, and purchase gas and oil for your car. 

Bain Capitol was involved in 77 companies between 1984 and 1999; 22 percent of them failed within that period Romney worked there. Some of the companies included AMC Entertainment, Aspen Education Group, Brookstone, Burger King, Burlington Coat Factory, Clear Channel Communications, Domino's Pizza, DoubleClick, Dunkin' Donuts, D&M Holdings, Guitar Center, Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), Sealy, The Sports Authority, Staples, Toys "R" Us, Warner Music Group and The Weather Channel.  Some pretty good investments and lots of jobs were generated.  Certainly more than Obama's "investments" listed above. Of course Obama’s “investments” have cost $billions and tens of thousands of jobs have been lost. In case you're wondering, I'm putting "investments" in scare quotes because they aren't, they're payoffs for crony capitalism. 

Much grief was given Romney, even by some Republicans, most notably by Rick Perry and Newt Gringrich during the Republican Presidential Debates. For some reason they thought if an investment failed no profit should be taken.  That money gets reinvested too, so it’s a wash there. On the other hand Bain used money from private sources they raised by being so competent people were willing to trust them with their money to the tune of $billions. On the other hand, Obama and the Dems used money confiscated (through taxation), borrowed from unfriendly foreign countries, and printed, to finance companies with no demand for their products and services, and in the case of car companies were failing due to stupid management.

We have a president and political party that use tax payer money (not their own put at risk) to “invest” in private companies. That’s okay. But a man that gains the trust of others, and risks his own money to invest is not okay.  Go figure.

Bain Capital, Romney, & Democrats Total Lack of Understanding of How Investing Works

The Obama campaign vid about Romney, Bain Capital, and GST Steel is posted below this. There are a lot of problems with it, mostly that it’s untrue. If one didn’t know better, the purpose of private equity firms is to raid healthy companies, throw good hard working people out of work, and pay themselves.

The description here is GST Steel was a healthy thriving company, and Romney came in and destroyed it. First problem is Romney had left Bain two years before GST declared bankruptcy. The narrative is Romney and Bain came in, sucked all the money out, paid themselves and left.

GST, like all steel companies began going downhill in the early 1990’s. Then was the beginning of alternative materials to steel and higher rates of imports of steel, mostly from Asia, causing a downturn in the amount of steel being produced in the US. This was when Bain came in, using the equity investment business strategy of buying up companies heavily in debt, restructure them and cut costs, and make them productive again. Once they’re productive again, they’re taken public or sold to another company.

The company was actually turned around after Bain restructured it. It became a world class producer of rods. It was going downhill before Bain got there and would have failed and declared bankruptcy much earlier like so many steel production companies did then.

It’s lame the Dems are saying, well, Romney set it all in motion; just because he had left two years earlier doesn’t mean he’s not responsible for what happened. The reason he left by the way was to save the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. If you'll remember, it was headed for major disaster. He turned it into a profitable, popular, success. It was also lame, and it really ticked me off when during the Republican debates, both Perry and Gingrich went after Romney for being a venture capitalist and rich. Really? That’s what opened the door for this whole lying mess. Both those guys plummeted in my estimation of them.

Even though Romney wasn’t there, he’s responsible? Obama’s been there for what, 38 months? How many jobs has he cost? 8.1% unemployment. About 17% unemployment if all the citizens that have left the job market are counted, or ran out of unemployment benefits, taken lesser jobs or have just given up. OH! What am I thinking? It’s Bush’s fault, and them ‘wascally ‘wepublicans…

Brief Summation of Mitt Romney's Presidential Proposals

This is a very brief summation of Mitt Romney’s plan, found on his website {Click on "Issues" icon"}. Obama’s website here {Click on "Issues" icon} Not so much on the details on Obama's site, but some feel good stuff and dubious claims. Best of the best here is abolishing Obamacare, cutting spending (with a plan how to do it), opening energy production back up and how to do it, reducing taxes and which ones, and regulations that can be curtailed. Here are some of the details.

On Obamacare: On his first day in office, Mitt Romney will issue an executive order that paves the way for the federal government to issue Obamacare waivers to all fifty states. He will then work with Congress to repeal the full legislation as quickly as possible.

In place of Obamacare, he will pursue policies that give each state the power to craft a health care reform plan that is best for its own citizens. The federal government’s role will be to help markets work by creating a level playing field for competition. 

On Spending: Bring federal spending below 20 percent of GDP by the end of his first term: Reduced from 24.3 percent last year; in line with the historical trend between 18 and 20 percent, close to the tax revenue generated by the economy when healthy;

Requires spending cuts of approximately $500 billion per year in 2016 assuming robust economic recovery with 4% annual growth, and reversal of Obama-era defense cuts. Pass the House Republican Budget proposal, rolling back President Obama’s government expansion by capping non-security discretionary spending below 2008 levels.

On Taxes: Make permanent, across-the-board 20 percent cut in marginal rates

Maintain current tax rates on interest, dividends, and capital gains

Eliminate taxes for taxpayers with AGI below $200,000 on interest, dividends, and capital gains.

Eliminate the Death Tax

Repeal the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT)

Cut the corporate rate to 25 percent

Strengthen and make permanent the R&D tax credit

Switch to a territorial tax system

Repeal the corporate Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT)

On Energy:

Establish fixed timetables for all resource development approvals

Create one-stop shop to streamline permitting process for approval of common activities

Implement fast-track procedures for companies with established safety records to conduct pre-approved activities in pre-approved areas

Ensure that environmental laws properly account for cost in regulatory process

Amend Clean Air Act to exclude carbon dioxide from its purview

Expand NRC capabilities for approval of additional nuclear reactor designs

Streamline NRC processes to ensure that licensing decisions for reactors on or adjacent to approved sites, using approved designs, are complete within two years.

Conduct comprehensive survey of America’s energy reserves

Open America’s energy reserves for development

Expand opportunities for U.S. resource developers to forge partnerships with neighboring countries

Support construction of pipelines to bring Canadian oil to the United States

Prevent overregulation of shale gas development and extraction

On Labor:

Appoint to the NLRB experienced individuals with respect for the rule of law

Amend NLRA to explicitly protect the right of business owners to allocate their capital as they see fit

Reverse executive orders issued by President Obama that tilt the playing field toward organized labor

Amend NLRA to guarantee the secret ballot in every union certification election

Amend NLRA to guarantee that all pre-election campaigns last at least one month

Support states in pursuing Right-to-Work laws

Prohibit the use for political purposes of funds automatically deducted from worker paychecks

On Regulations:

Repeal Obamacare

Repeal Dodd-Frank and replace with streamlined, modern regulatory framework

Amend Sarbanes-Oxley to relieve mid-size companies from onerous requirements

Initiate review and elimination of all Obama-era regulations that unduly burden the economy

Ensure that environmental laws properly account for cost in regulatory process

Provide multi-year lead times before companies must come into compliance with onerous new environmental regulations

Impose a regulatory cap of zero dollars on all federal agencies

Require congressional approval of all new “major” regulations

Reform legal liability system to prevent spurious litigation

Boenhner is moving toward a "balanced" budget amendment that does not cap federal spending to a percent of the GDP and lacks taxation limitations. RINO's and Dems love this idea.

Romney Uses Leftist Slime Tactics Against Perry

I'm terrified the early caucus states will vote Romney, following the usual Republican trend of selecting the next in line endorsed by the Rockefeller wing of the Party and we Conservatives will be forced to vote for him. He will no doubt be an improvement over Obama, but not by much. He's pro-global warming alarmist, pro-government controlled healthcare, and thinks it's okay to cave, compromise and "get along" with the Statist Democrats. He is not a Conservative, he's Democrat Lite, a RINO of the worst sort. This vid attack ad on Perry is yet another example of Romney's Leftist leanings, using their tactic of just piling on lies, slimming and smearing.

There is not one truth in this, and no, I don't support Perry. I did, but he let his media "handlers" control him and he quit speaking accomplishments, his record and how he'll apply it at the national level. He comes across as false and untrustworthy as a result. And yes, debate ability is important. Many citizens aren't going to pay attention before the presidential debates, the moderators are all going to be Leftist spokesmen for Obama and the Democrat Party. The Republican nominee has to be able and willing to expose them for what they are as well as pound Obama's willingness and desire to crush the US economy and make us a second rate country.
