Reflections on the Past Year, Personal, Cultural, Political and a Prayer for This Year

It’s fortunate this past year was mundane for me. Nothing terribly impactful, painful, or upsetting. Those things in the small circle that I directly influence or am influenced by was ordinary and comfortable for the most part.

An exception was at work. I really had no direct experience with Millennials as a group until this past year. Heard stuff on the peripheral but didn’t pay much attention.  I was given a new team. Part of my job as a team leader is to critique work and offer ways to improve. Most of this group were Millennials, and every bad thing I had heard about them proved true. This is the first time I disliked people as a group. Up to now there’s been dislike of certain individuals (and I’m sure vice versa), since I think it improper to lump people together for judgement or criticism. Millennials though, are so indoctrinated, so much a product of groupthink, they are essentially all of the same mold. With observing them, an individual must stand out and show there is something unique about them for me to see uniqueness. This just turned the way I relate to people on its head. They don’t take criticism at all, even when it’s worded, ‘this is what we can do to improve on this kind of situation’. They have zero respect for experience or authority. They are the smartest people in the room. Anything anyone has to say, other than praise (mostly unfounded) is rejected without consideration.

They expect to be only adored and praised, regardless. I send out motivational and life improving observations daily. I was providing feedback to a Representative and I said this issue ties right into a motivational observation I had sent out recently, and she said, “I don’t read them, I don’t need any motivation, maybe you do, but I don’t.' Here’s a woman in the middle of middle age, is on the edge of obese (for me a health issue), and does average work in an entry level job. She has shown no interest in improving her position or quality of work/life. This is what stunned me. All but a couple of people of about sixteen were like this.

Working with them, I’ve found they have no idea of history before the day they were born, no interest in anyone or anything beyond what directly impacts or influences them, have no interest in current events except maybe for the Kardashians or the Housewives of Wherever. Apparently there’s several Housewives of Wherever shows. They actually talk about these things, and importantly, as if there’s universal truths or insights into human behavior or something on these and similar “reality” shows.  When I’ve actually offered up a true universal truth, from thousands of years of observation of human behavior, it’s rejected as stupid or untrue. I’m stunned.  

I’m getting an inkling now of what the generation following them is like, and it’s even worse. There’s culture and social writers saying there’s a change, they’re more inclined to traditional modes of behavior or belief systems. Don’t know what those guys are looking at. College students getting University Presidents fired because they don’t like something allegedly said, “safe zones” where they don’t have to hear any alternative ideas to what their professors have indoctrinated them to believe. There’s a building at some university called “Lynch” which is the name of one of the founders of the university. They want the name of the building changed because “lynch” is, well, racist you know.  There are petitions of remove the 1^st Amendment, most specifically the freedom of speech part. Only they should be allowed to say what they want. The myth of white privilege. Universities are founded on the back of slavery and white privilege. It’s too stupid and crazy to continue. The “adults” should expel these knuckleheads. It costs a huge amount of money (the cost of Leftist greed, not an improvement of education) to go, and this is what the outcome is?

I’m so convinced this is the tipping point of Western Civilization in general and America specifically.

Part of the tipping point is a US President that has opened the borders, imports people from countries that are enemies of the US with no effective vetting process, illegally granted amnesty to millions that have invaded this country. He makes anti-Christian statements, but pro Muslim statements. He is an anti-Semite, and sides with terrorist groups against Israel. He has demonized Christians, Whites, Conservatives and Republicans, making race relations even worse that they were in the 1960’s. Hillary Clinton has violated dozens of laws, lied about them, been caught and still no trial, yet still getting massive support from the main stream media and her political party. Anyone else would be on trial or in prison by now. Bill, a serial abuser and exploiter of women, probable rapist, is given a pass. Black celebrity Bill Cosby did the same thing and is getting pounded, by the Leftist Jurassic Press and good Leftists everywhere. And there’s worse this president is doing, and in his last year of office it’ll be a full on blitz to destroy as much as he can that is good about America; its energy production, and the 1^st Amendment, race relations, foreign policy to name a few.  

Wacko Leftists and Islamist terrorists killing people, and it’s a gun restriction problem. I say wacko Leftists because reading the backgrounds of the mass killers, I don’t see any of them members of the TEA (taxed enough already) party, any church going Christians, no Conservatives, no Republicans, yet the Jurassic Press always starts out finding a way to blame one of these groups; often stating there are ties to those groups, then burying the retraction. Speaking of murder, Planned Parenthood is caught murdering babies and selling body parts and not only given a pass, but getting more government funding. Passed by Republicans no less. That and their supporting amnesty and open borders with the Democrats. And the Republican Establishment wonders why they don’t have the support of Republicans in flyover country? Good grief. Is there a measurement for how dumb those guys are? 

This is heading in a direction I hadn’t intended so I’m pulling it back.

Movies I saw this past year. It was a weak movie year. Zombies and vampires and teddy bears oh my. My fav observation about Zombie movies I make, (given how I think about the Millennials and the following generation) is they are so popular because they identify with the characters. (Brain dead except for motor movements.)  “American Sniper” was amazing, reverent and touching. The usual demented Leftists called it a movie praising murderers. The colossally fat, stupid one percenter Michael Moore leading the charge of insensitivity and stupidity. Saw the new “Star Wars”, and while it was fun, it was also overly PC. Small slender woman kicks ass on men that are trained in fighting and combat, that are bigger than her, flies spaceships for the first time better than trained pilots, knows more about the electronics and the engine of the Millennium Falcon than Hans Solo who’s ship it is and has been flying it for years and years…yeah yeah yeah. Had the same problem with the new “Mad Max”. Hardly anything to do with Max, most everything to do with the female character the story was actually about. “Bridge of Spies” with Tom Hanks I thought was good. I’ve read several reviews since by conservative reviewers that reviewed it as one of the worst of the year. Apparently I watched something different with the same title. “Man from U.N.C.L.E.” was splendid fun and I hope there are sequels, but for some reason I doubt it. My favorite movie was “Kingsmen: The Secret Service" which was stylish, clever, fun. Saw it when it came out and have streamed it twice since. Fun fun fun. “Unbroken” was heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time. Highly recommended. Bond movie was fun, but it’s time to fire Daniel Craig. He bad mouthed the movie, the production, the character. He’s made $millions upon $millions then criticizes the US, our lifestyle and our politics. Time to go hypocritical ingrate. Saw the “Age of Ultron”, a mistake. Super tired of all the comic book characters brought to life.

It turns out the most creative film is TV series. “Justified”, “Major Crimes” Agatha Christie’s “Perot”, and I know I said I’m fed up with comic book stories, but like “Gotham”, “Arrow”, “Flash”. For “reality” shows, “Diners, Drive Ins and Dives”, “Fixer Upper” (love love love that couple!), and a few others. “Blue Bloods” is amazing, especially since the family lives up to Christian values and ethics, has a family meal every week, prays together, is smartly written, and just enjoyable. All that and it has survived several seasons.

Read a few books. Best among them “Christianity & Liberalism" published in 1923 about how Liberalism is becoming the new religion in many churches. Sound familiar? "Jesus - A Pilgrimage” by SJ James Martin…fabulous Journey in the Holy Land. If you haven’t read Martin, pick him up. "Ordinary: Sustainable Faith in a Radical, Restless World", we need to recognize God in the ordinary. Down to earth religious writing. Read some mysteries. Most fun book of the year was “Ready Player One”. Clever fiction, Dystopic future, with gamers, bad guys and the story is chock full of 1980’s references which is the most fun part. Easy read and highly recommend.

The list of what I read and saw at the movies is in the right column. Oh, by the way, if you want a good chuckle with classic rock ‘n’ roll, stream the “Minions”. A hoot!

For the upcoming year, I pray our church prospers and all get along, I don’t have to take any more grief from Millennials at work (I’m off that team, but we have many of that generation working here). I pray that the slaughter of Christians in Africa and the Middle East by IslamoNazis is stopped, that the imperialism of Putin/Russia is stopped, and Christians in this country stand up to the Secularists and the Democrat Party to protect freedom of religion. I pray Ted Cruz is elected President.

I pray for the health and happiness of all who desire it. Sadly there are many that find pleasure in misery. I pray these attitudes and beliefs that bring that on, is banished from their souls, and they find what is good in life, friends and liberty. 

Thoughts and Observations of the Past Year, Macro Big Picture and Personally Looking Forward

Some observations about the past year. Understanding that this day is an arbitrary mark in time, it is nice to have a traditional place to stop, review, take stock, and think about what we need to accomplish in the next twelvemonth. Looking back on the past year, it was not good, macro or micro [my personal world].

I’ve put my personal life observations/experiences at the end. I think much more important are the things at the national and international level causing pain and destruction to millions of lives, which to me is pretty much the meme of the past year.

At the macro level, we must start with our President, whose personal agenda has replaced the traditional role of the office. He has been and is a force of destruction socially, politically and economically.  The first year Obama took office the Bush deficit was about $840 Billion which Obama said was irresponsible and unpatriotic. The national debt as of this past Dec was $18 Trillion. That is up $7.4 Trillion since Obama took office. Six years and a little over a $Trillion a year added.

When Obama and his political party lost the midterm elections in a landslide, from local to state to federal offices and legislatures, he response was, “To everyone who voted, I want you to know that I hear you. To the two-thirds of voters who chose not to participate in the process yesterday, I hear you too.”  We see stupid. That those who didn’t vote, he assumes they would have voted for him and his Party’s failed policies and totalitarian mindset. Some numbers on that election. Republicans gained nine seats in the Senate, and picked up seats in the House they already controlled. That House thing is the largest majority since 1946. [BTW, that was a repudiation of the Democrats and FDR then. Not put in history books is the FDR and Dems were seriously disliked by more than half the country then; this country was as divided as much as it is now. One of the best-selling books then was a repudiation and revealing of what really went on during the FDR years; all the hypocrisy, lying, corruption and illegality.  The Roosevelt Myth by John T Flynn.] Republicans will hold 31 of 50 governorships, and hold both house and senate in 24 states. Republicans are not so much liked or trusted either, but there ya go. Says much about Obama and the Democrat party and how they are perceived.

Epic failures. ObamaCare became the law of the land in October 2013. A billion dollar website crashed and no one could use it. It's still rotten.

The Veterans Administration falsified data that caused extreme suffering for some vets and their families and killed other vets through negligence.

Word went out to countries south of the border that the border was open to children. Tens of thousands of unchaperoned kids flooded the border causing a humanitarian crises. Hundreds of the “kids” were gang members. I remember reading at the time leaked memos that this invasion was planned by the Administration months in advance.  

The IRS targeted conservative groups to silence any effective campaigns for the 2012 elections. There were emails that proved this, that were “lost” but recently found. A lying corrupt federal Leftist “judge” recently ruled there was no law broken and there was no foul play since the targeted groups were eventually granted their tax requests, and the investigations that stopped their activity have been ended, and the emails were found. Even though the emails proved illegal activity, they are to be ignored by court order. I guess now getting away with breaking the law is okay according to Leftists as long at not caught at the time.

A major health threat to this country was created when Obama and his Departments of Health, and Homeland Security, allowed people into the country with the deadly disease, Ebola. Some of those refused to be guaranteed citing their civil rights were being violated by being asked to remove themselves from the general population. Put hundreds if not thousands at risk of probable death for personal feelings and comfort. The Obama and his administration changed rules all over the place to cover up their incompetence.

Obama and his political party claimed Al Qaeda on the run, the war in the Middle East over, war on terror pretty much done. Syria had used chemical weapons, Obama said this was unacceptable, and drew a “red line”. He erased it when it came time to take action on it. He pulled troops out of the Middle East against the advice of his generals, leaving a vacuum that is filled by ISIS, now slaughtering thousands, and conquering land. The murder of Christians by them is pretty much ignored by Obama; his disdain for them is only exceeded by his disdain of Jews.

Putin re-lit the Cold War by taking over Crimea and threatened to conquer Ukraine. Obama did not come out and support either country, offer weapons or military tactics/training.  Putin uses oil and gas energy as a political weapon, both of which we have an abundance of and could have sent to undermine Putin and cool Russia's heals.

Obama has aggressively attacked Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu personally. Two senior administration officials (names not given to the reporter for the Atlantic) called Netanyahu a “chickenshit”. If anyone has any knowledge of the man, that’s one thing he’s not. Obama has tried to block, or spoken out against everything Israel has done to protect itself from terrorist countries and organizations. Obama and the Dems support in word and deed ($’s) Hamas, Iran, ISIS, PLO, and initially the dictator of Syria that slaughtered thousands.

This is nothing less that the anti-Semitism of Obama and the Democrat Party. (Remember at the Democrat convention they removed God and support of Israel from the Party Platform until political backlash force them to put those back in.) That Party and Leftist anti-Semitism is fueling the reemergence of it here in the US, and it's getting more and more prevalent especially on college campuses. This is supportive of the dangerously increasing anti-Semitism in Europe, where Synagogues are being burnt down and Jews are being attacked and murdered. Coming soon to a town near you?

Economically about 92 million people are out of work. Not reported in the administration’s labor statistics because they are no longer counted since their unemployment ran out. People on Food Stamps are highest that any time in the history of the program. Bush 2 was excoriated in the Jurassic Press when unemployment got over 5%.  Now the “official” unemployment rate is 6% or 7%, and since the “new norm” at the beginning of Obama’s reign was 10%, this is now a good thing. Actual unemployment is between 13% and 17%. Hard to tell since Labor Statistics are controlled by the White House. I noticed that the month and weeks before the presidential and midterm elections, the unemployment rate dropped a couple percent and after those elections the Bureau of Labor statistics revised them back up. 

Racism, along with anti-Semitism is hugely on the rise. Whenever a Black man confronts the police and gets killed for his efforts there are riots. Racist Attorney General and his racist boss gin up the Black population to hate whites especially before elections as a get out the vote tactic. The Leftist New York Post found this out during the Ferguson riots. An accidental act of journalism. Still ignored are the hundreds of Black on Black murders, or Black on White murders, or the murder of police by Blacks.

I’ve gone on enough about this, thinking the point made. This has been a terrible year for this country, and the head of the fish that stinks is Obama and the Democrat Party. Anything done to protect America’s borders stopped, anything to decrease unemployment stopped, to produce lower cost energy stopped (anti fracking, anti-oil exploration, stopped Keystone pipeline, drove away offshore drilling) [there’s a vid of him before his run for president that he wanted to drive up the cost of energy, it was necessary].

Yet I keep going on about the macro stuff. It’s endless the badness that’s happened in the past year. I don’t see it improving much in this new year even with Republicans winning such a landslide election. They badmouth, push to the margins Conservatives, the base, campaign against them harder than they do against the Democrats. They are both incompetent and proving themselves they earn and keep earning the moniker ‘the party of stupid’.

Now the personal. I know I have friends that read my postings, and I thank you for your interest and support. At the micro level, my personal life, I have much less to say. Work is okay, with the usual corporate hassles, but it does provide, and I am able provide service through them, to customer service agents and the customers of UPS. With that I missed a lot of work due to illness, more of an affliction, vertigo. I’m amazed how many amateur doctors and healers there are with advice how to deal with it, get rid of it. Specialists, my GP and neurologist unable to do anything but help me maintain, but many still have better health advice.

I had stopped attending my church for a while. Got caught up in church politics, was personally attacked and was shown less than appreciation for my contributions. There’s enough aggravation in life, I don’t need it where I worship. After a couple/three months breather, I went back and the love shown let me know this is the right place for corporate worship. I had given a sermon on worship, and the theme was the unbroken connection between corporate and personal worship.  That was born out with my noting my diminished prayer time and study of faith and religion. Looking back at this year, which has been seriously ungood; the goals are to get back to reading and studying more, writing more, praying more. I’ve read less this year, and watched more vids. Mostly due to it really being hard to read when the vertigo and other illnesses I have make the Kindle move around, and/or nausea make the concentration necessary for reading, or writing, pretty much impossible. The books and movies I’ve read and seen are on the right of this blog. Noticeably fewer than years past, just as there are way fewer posts to this blog than years past. I don’t list the vids I watch, but the most entertaining for me this year were the series “Justified” (my fav) and “Longmire” and “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”.  Lots of British produced mysteries with great stories and acting.  

I pray all a healthy happy holy coming year. We pray God to start working to remove, through each of us, all the bigotry, hatred, lies, deceit and violence that has marked this past year, and for us personally to stay in a worshipful spirit and state of mind to effect in a loving and positive way, those around us. It all starts with each of us, and our communion with God. He must be what informs every aspect of our lives. 

How Democrats & Jurassic Press Use Indictments When They Loose a Vote or Debate

The alcoholic Democrat Rosemary Lehmberg, that was busted for drunk driving and made a scene during her processing, threatening to have all the officers’ jobs, and ‘don’t you know who I am' idiocy, I wrote about here with the vid of her processing. Her title in Travis County (wholly run by Dems) is the now ironically named the “Public Integrity Unit”. She apparently has trouble with morals, values and ethics, but no nevermind, she’s a Dem. Because they are so short on values, morals, ethics, supporting and obeying the law, they get a pass. In Amerika, if you claim to have any of the above, and fall short, then you’re a liar and a hypocrite.

The night this nasty pushy amoral Democrat was busted (she served about half of the 45 day sentence) her alcohol blood count was about three times over the legal limit. (It was revealed during all this that she had racked up $4500 worth of vodka in the previous 15 months. Comes to about 25 gallons. ) Now we have a convicted criminal in a government position. At one time, if one was convicted of a crime, one stepped down.

Not only did she not step down, she got a corrupt grand jury to indict Governor Rick Perry. (The charge was he approved a contract to a company that had as one of the investors a friend of his.) Perry constitutionally vetoed funding to her corrupt department for the reason she wasn’t fit for the position. Indictments are a tool of Dem's when they can’t win debates or at the polls. Most famously the Travis County TX grand jury, after several attempts were able to indict Republican Conservative Tom Delay on the charge of money laundering. To launder money it first has to be obtained illegally. Delay’s money came from campaign contributions that he partially gave to other Republicans for their campaigns, which is done all the time. Another problem is the law they cited had not been passed, it wasn’t even a law then. The charges and indictments were of course above the fold in the Jurassic Press, and became the meme. What was not reported, except in the Conservative Media, was the Supreme Court threw it out; not guilty; under the laws in place or the new law created just for the purpose of getting Delay out of power. Delay was forced to leave politics to fight the charges and faced bankruptcy. Goal of the Dem's achieved. 

Kay Bailey Hutchison, also of Texas, dealing with one of the most cynical and corrupt politicians, even for a Democrat, was Ronnie Earle (who used to hold the position the alcoholic criminal Democrat now holds). He was ticked at her because he wanted to be appointed to the office she won. He and his cohorts raided her office without a warrant, failed getting together a grand jury until his third try, and they indicted her. The “crime” she was charged with was using her previous office of treasury for personal and political reasons. When it came time for the hearing the lying coward Democrat (but I repeat myself) didn’t even show up. Evidence of the “crime”, if any, could not be used because no warrant. The trial had to be moved out of Austin to Fort Worth, and after 30 min, all charges were dropped. She, like Perry and DeLay, have the word “indictment” attached to them, which the Dems and Jurassic Press will keep reporting and repeating. She, like Delay had to spend a lot of money to defend herself.  Not a word that the indictments did not stick. Nothing to inform the public that really doesn’t pay attention to this stuff what’s really going on.

One last example. Scott Walker of Wisconsin. He has won every political battle against Leftists, union thugs, and Democrats (but I repeat myself).  As a result, the state deficit is a surplus and employment is up, taxes are down. Leftists/Dems are still protesting and trying to run him out of office. They did the indictment thing too. They also ran a “secret investigation”, a step beyond Earle’s warrantless search of Walker and some conservative groups. They brought charges against Walker and the conservative organizations. The mess is a bunch of empty nonsense about some kind of criminal scheme, and the Dems and Jurassic Press shout all across the land the Walker was indicted for criminal behavior. Not a word, except in the Conservative press, the indictment didn’t stick there either.

An interesting sidelight, or reminder for those that pay attention to these things. One of the bits of legislation Walker was trying to get, was definitely going to be a loss for the Dems. To block the vote they couldn’t win, they left the state; not vote could be done. The Texas Democrats did the same thing when they were going to lose a vote.

Some Leftist knucklehead had posted on Facebook some names of indicted Republicans. I commented who? and what for? No answer. Casting aspersions is good enough. Facts need not apply.

In the Name of Security- Ignoring the Fourth Amendment

True of any totalitarian state, using the reason of security to control citizens has reached epic proportions. Like much else the Obama Regime and the Democrat Party does, there's a lot of anti-Constitutional, serious violations of that and legislated law.

We have of course the NSA and it's massive spying on US citizens. Spying on journalists and News organizations (even Leftist ones that support the totalitarian Obama regime), IRS spying on and trying to financially cripple organizations that oppose Obama and his Leftist oligarchy, and TSA harassment of ordinary law abiding citizens traveling within the US. We have Homeland Security buying up ten of millions of rounds of ammunition, reportedly as much or more per person than what's allocated to military personal. That sounds suspiciously like a domestic military force.

Just a reminder of what the Fourth Amendment requires of the government. "The Fourth Amendment (Amendment IV) to the United States Constitution is the part of the Bill of Rights that guards against unreasonable searches and seizures, along with requiring any warrant to be judicially sanctioned and supported by probable cause. It was adopted as a response to the abuse of the writ of assistance, which is a type of general search warrant, in the American Revolution. Search and seizure (including arrest) should be limited in scope according to specific information supplied to the issuing court, usually by a law enforcement officer, who has sworn by it. The Fourth Amendment applies to the states by way of the Due Process Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment." [Wikipedia]

I'll say the usual and obvious here. If a Republican president and his political party were violating the Forth Amendment this openly and outrageously, Democrats/Leftists/Socialists would be screaming bloody murder. Remember the big kerfuffle with Bush II and the Patriot Act allowing Feds to check what people checked out of the library? Or tracking terrorist organizations financials. Or listening to known terrorist phone conversations? Oh my God, Bush is a dictator! All our rights have been violated!

And yet, here we have a president and his political party clearly ignoring the Constitution and openly spying on citizens. The Federal Government's [anti] law enforcement agencies focus on the law abiding. A couple of recent examples that have just emerged that is even more blatant violations of citizens' rights are searching cars in airports without a search warrant, and police cars that record license plates on tens of thousands of cars, and those go into a national tracking database.

Here's what being done by the government monitoring cars. They justify it by saying there's no expectation of privacy, this is done in public domain, and there's no intent of using the information to track or monitor the public. Seriously? Of course it is.

" WASHINGTON (AP) — Chances are, your local or state police departments have photographs of your car in their files, noting where you were driving on a particular day, even if you never did anything wrong.

Using automated scanners, law enforcement agencies across the country have amassed millions of digital records on the location and movement of every vehicle with a license plate, according to a study published Wednesday by the American Civil Liberties Union. Affixed to police cars, bridges or buildings, the scanners capture images of passing or parked vehicles and note their location, uploading that information into police databases. Departments keep the records for weeks or years, sometimes indefinitely." Full article here.

It amazes me that so many Americans are willing to submit to being spied on, harassed, inconvenienced, and have all their private movements, their health issues, their communications and everything else in their lives monitored by the government in violation of the Constitution and all laws that flow from it. 

The Steno Pool for Obama, Dems, Leftists

Every single time there's violence, TEA Partiers, Conservatives, Christians, are assumed to be the perps. Never have they been with the obvious exception of abortion center bombings. The latter is immediately announced and shunned by Christians and Conservatives.  Fort Hood mass murders was done by a registered Democrat and Muslim. Columbine murderers were raised by Leftists/Democrats. Virginia Tech mass murderer wrote hate mail to GW Bush and was a registered Democrat. The murderer that shot up the theater in Colorado was a registered Democrat, worked on the Obama campaign, and was an Occupy Wall Street guy. The Newtown murderer was a registered Democrat and anti Christian bigot. For days after Gabby Gifford was shot, the Obama/Democrat steno pool (aka mainstream media) kept repeating it was right wing extremist, which to them is anybody that doesn't adhere to their Leftist lockstep ideology. Not one shooting or terrorist act has been done by a Republican, Tea Partier, Conservative, or Christian.

The Left is all about deconstruction, rejection of the Constitution, destitution, powerlessness for citizens, forced poverty except for the few that support Statism. This is the best summation of how the mainstream media handles all these tragedies.

Two Political and Social Trends That May Work in Favor of Conservatives, Republicans and Christians

Democrats, a couple weeks after The Election, are still gloating, often doing it with an over abundance of mockery. Poor form, but to be expected from such an uncivil and morally bankrupt group. I've written my view of what happened that day was a tipping point past which the majority of Americans have decided to reject traditional political\economic values that built the most free nation in history, opt for Statism, and reject traditional social and religious values that provided the foundation of healthy and stable relationships.

I can't give up to the notion all is lost. There are political and social realties in play that may move things back in balance; balanced budgets and balanced social relationships.

A political reality is though Democrats, Leftists, Statists, Socialists, Communists, Fascists have won the Executive and Senate, the failed status quo remains at the Federal level. In 2010, not only was a large Republican and Conservative majority of the House elected by historic margins, but there was a huge increase of governorships and legislatures gained by them. That build up continued in the last election, and won't be reported in the sycophantic Obama Press.

In 2010 Republicans and Conservatives gained about 700 state legislative seats, the result being 61 legislative chambers are controlled by them. Twenty five states (after swearing in next year) are controlled by Republicans, thirteen by Democrats, the rest a mix, leaning mostly Republican. Voters kept to that trend of Democrats control federally, with local control to Republicans. The Democrats, while desiring and working on it, have yet to overturn the Constitution and deny State's rights, so their Federally mandated, debt ridden, unfunded programs can still be blocked. There are governors and legislators that have the political courage lacking in many of the federal level RINO's to do so.  

In the next two elections there will be more noticeable evidence of success or failure, so the choice will be crystal clear. The late great state of California is a one Party state, controlled wholly by Democrats with no Republicans to be found, is $billions in debt and borrowing more, businesses and people are fleeing the state, decreasing the tax base. California is now the poorest state in the Union, traditionally a spot held by a Southern state. Less than a third of the legislature is Republican, two thirds are needed to raise taxes without a vote of the citizens, so from now on they can increase taxes whenever they want. States like Texas have exercised low tax rates, are pro business, so people and businesses are moving there. I've noticed though, that people moving from failed Democrat states like California and Michigan, vote in, once they've moved, for Democrats and the policies that caused their states of origin to fail. An amazing thing. That trend may be changing, looking at the increase of states being moved into the Republican column. (In my state of Nevada, the influx of Californians has changed the state from Republican to Democrat. We have the worst unemployment and foreclosure rate in the nation. Mostly Republicans won state and local offices.)

Regarding social traditions and values, the Democrats advocacy of State funded abortion and infanticide on demand, their attack on the traditional family, an education system with an increasing dropout rate and stupid students, the increase of out of wedlock babies being born, the growth of unmarried women left to raise children (a result of anti family attitudes), the rejection of the Church where family values are taught and practiced across race and generational lines, is increasingly showing the results of social decay that can't be missed. What Democrats leave are people disconnected from each other and their communities. Empty hearts and empty communities; just people with the mindset the State will take care of it, whatever "it" is.  

When this country most thrived, church attendance was high, community and neighborliness was high, taxes were low, marriage was high, abortion was low, birthrate was high within marriage, out of wedlock birthrates were low, school dropout rates were low.

Republicans and Conservatives at the State level must keep doing, like Scott Walker in Wisconsin and John  Kasich in Ohio, lowering tax rates, balancing budgets and increasing employment. Citizens are beginning to notice.

What Pastors must do, is preach the need for and the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman, against abortion, and the need for the nuclear family to raise well adjusted, well educated children. These are not political issues as Secularists would have everyone believe, but moral issues. Secularists push the idea these are political issues to keep Pastors talking about them out of fear of losing their tax exempt status. That's a ploy to circumvent freedom of religion. The State has no power to do so.

These are two things Conservatives, Republicans and Christians must recognize and support. Elect locally and advance the causes of religion and social traditions. 

Spielberg's "Lincoln" Good Movie Followed by Big Lie

Yesterday I saw Spielberg's "Lincoln" which made the passage of the 13th Amendment about as interesting as possible. The acting was brilliant.  Reviewers and responders on blogs got all caught up in the portrayal of Lincoln and the tenor voice, and with historical minutiae. It's not a documentary; good grief. Of course there are going to be artistic liberties taken. Surprisingly, Spielberg, screenwriter Tony Kushner, and Daniel Day Lewis, all Statist, Leftist Radicals, didn't rewrite history and avoided the standard attacks on Republicans. Actually it was a pretty good sketch of the events getting the anti-slavery amendment passed, and correctly portrayed the Democrats as the pro-slavery Party.

The meme is that it's the Republican Party that's racist and segregationist. The opposite has always been the case. Spielberg has been saying in interviews that Dems and Republicans "have traded political places over the last 150 years".  A blatant lie.  

The Dems were the ones that fought against civil rights legislation in the mid twentieth century, were the supporters and members of the KKK and all the rest of the horrible treatment of Blacks in this country. It's the Democrats that have impoverished and enslaved Blacks in the Urban Plantation in the twentieth century, and continue to do so. Black unemployment is in the high teens, and going up under a Black Democrat president.

Here is the history of the Racist Democrat Party vs the Republican Party. By the way, most Blacks were members of the Republican Party from the end of the Civil War into the early 20th century. Then the Dems did then, what they do now, offered a lot of free stuff. No such thing as free stuff, but people vote for their own oppression on the promise of free stuff.    

The Democrats:
Democrats fought to expand slavery while Republicans fought to end it.
Democrats passed those discriminatory Black Codes and Jim Crow laws.
Democrats supported and passed the Missouri Compromise to protect slavery and the Kansas Nebraska Act to expand slavery.

Democrats supported and backed the Dred Scott Decision.

Democrats opposed educating blacks and murdered our teachers.

Democrats fought against anti-lynching laws.

Democrat Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia, is well known for having been a “Kleagle” in the Ku Klux Klan. Byrd filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for 14 straight hours to keep it from passage.

Democrats passed the Repeal Act of 1894 that overturned civil right laws enacted by Republicans.

Democrats declared that they would rather vote for a “yellow dog” than vote for a Republican, because the Republican Party was known as the party for blacks.

The 1964 Civil Rights Act Roll Call Vote: In the House, only 64 percent of the Democrats (153 yes, 91 no), but 80 percent of the Republicans (136 yes, 35 no), voted for it. In the Senate, while only 68 percent of the Democrats endorsed the bill (46 yes, 21 no), 82 percent of the Republicans voted to enact it (27 yes, 6 no).

Thaddeus Stevens, a Radical Republican that introduced legislation to give African Americans the so-called 40 acres and a mule and Democrats overwhelmingly voted against the bill.

During the Senate debates on the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, it was revealed that members of the Democratic Party formed many terrorist organizations like the Ku Klux Klan to murder and intimidate African Americans voters. The Ku Klux Klan Act was a bill introduced by a Republican Congress to stop Klan Activities.

History reveals that Democrats lynched, burned, mutilated and murdered thousands of blacks and completely destroyed entire towns and communities occupied by middle class Blacks, including Rosewood, Florida, the Greenwood District in Tulsa Oklahoma, and Wilmington, North Carolina to name a few.

History reveals that it was Abolitionists and Radical Republicans such as Henry L. Morehouse and General Oliver Howard that started many of the traditional Black colleges, while Democrats fought to keep them closed. Many of our traditional Black colleges are named after white Republicans.

After exclusively giving the Democrats their votes for the past 25 years, the average African American cannot point to one piece of civil rights legislation sponsored solely by the Democratic Party that was specifically designed to eradicate the unique problems that African Americans face today.

As of 2004, the Democrat Party (the oldest political party in America) had never elected a black man to the United States Senate, while the Republicans had elected three.

Tipping Point and the Seven Deadly Sins

This week America passed the tipping point. We found out America has moved from a constitutional republic based on moral scriptural values and beliefs, to an America that embraces and promotes the seven deadly sins. We have in Barack Obama and the Democrat Party, their supporters in the Jurassic Press and the trendy popular entertainment media, advocates for  wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony.

In Obama's closing speeches running up to the election, he exhorted his supporters to vote for revenge, wrath. That he would say such a thing is puzzling since he has been in power for four years, so who is revenge directed toward? Statistism, Marxism, the Left, have been the Establishment since the 1930's, in both politics and culture, yet they still play the oppressed minority. That Obama made the statement indicates he and his Party believe in and practice wrath, even against those they triumph over. There's been a lot of gloating and insulting of Republicans, Conservatives and Christians since election day.

Obama and the Democrat Party advocate greed with their notion of confiscating the wealth from those that are the most productive. An interviewer a few years ago asked Obama, noting that every time tax rates were reduced, revenues to the government went up, why did he still advocate for a higher tax rate for the wealthy? His answer was his standard 'they have to pay their fair share', regardless of the results. They use the concept of fairness, deciding what that is, to line their own pockets, increase their own wealth, at the expense of others.

They promote sloth by their notion of redistributing the wealth, telling people even if they don't work hard enough to get the things they want on their own, the government will make up the difference. The more slothful one is, the increased difference will still be made up, necessitating going back to confiscating yet more from the producers to compensate.

Obama and his fellow Statists promote pride with the notion of self esteem, that one doesn't have to accomplish anything to be proud of oneself. We have students coming out of school barely able to read and write, no knowledge of art, history, literature, mathematics, civics. Students think they know these things, and tests show the opposite. Yet they are still proud of their nonexistent accomplishments.

They promote envy with their constant attack on the successful. Hey, look at that guy, he has more money than me, what an evil and despicable person! Why should he have more than me?

Statists, Leftists, promote lust. Look at all the movies, books, TV shows, and magazines that sex is central. The entertainment "reporters" on the show "TMZ" openly and happily talk about the porn they watch when at one time such things were secretive and hidden, viewing was an embarrassment. Adultery is becoming more acceptable; there's even a social media that helps adulterers hook up.

Lastly, gluttony. The Obama's have spent over a billion dollars on vacations and parties since they've been in office. They eat and feed their supporters large quantities of the finest cuisine, while exhorting others to eat moderately and plainly. They constantly exhort others to do with less, while they ever increase their own consumption.

What was rejected a few days ago by Americans, is the notion we do the best we can for ourselves, for our families and friends, without government intervention, and that there is a tried and true moral and behavioral code over a couple thousand years that lends itself to successful happy people, in turn happy successful communities, in turn nations that receive the blessings of God.

Scripture makes it quite clear with the examples of the Israelites; every time they denied God, turned their back on Him, serious, bad things happened to them.

A few days ago we decided to make it official, and turned our backs to God. We have made the State our religion.

I find it hard to believe anyone can be undecided about who to vote for in this upcoming election. This should be a final nail to convince those that this man is a liar, says one thing, does another, and claims he has done what he said he was going to do in the first place. This covers every issue from transparency (he had a meeting on transparency and it was closed to the public) to Health Care (he said costs wouldn't go up and they did; it's not even fully implemented yet) to energy (he said before the election that he would bankrupt coal companies and necessarily costs to consumers would skyrocket).

The choice is clear, don't obfuscate. You're either for a communist that is hell bent on impoverishing this country, disarming the citizens, weakening our military beyond any capable functionality, is an anti Christian bigot; or for a successful capitalist that supports a growing economy that benefits all, supports freedom of religion, supports the second amendment, and supports a strong military.

I'm sick of Leftists/Democrats that say they're for the latter, then vote for and behind closed doors work and say the things that are antithetical to what this constitutional republic is about.
