Lawlessness. What to do when the President of the United States does not obey or enforce the law?
The enforcing the law part was most evident when some Black Panthers stood outside a voting site with night sticks to intimidate white voters and were not prosecuted. He sued the state of Arizona because they tried to enforce Federal immigration laws not being done by the Feds. Arizona is counter suing. A sovereign state in the country he was elected to protect he’s attacking instead. Really? Dozens of voting irregularities by Democrat Party officials, ACORN and Unions were not investigated or prosecuted. Just to name a few of the most blatant ones.
He’s now shutting down coal mines, even ones that have complied with all Federal regulations. Here’s a specific example of his breaking the law by shutting down the Gulf Coast oil drilling business, even though they too have complied with all Federal Laws. Even though ordered by Federal Judges to lift the oil drilling moratorium he enforced after the Gulf oil disaster, he is still keeping rigs from drilling.
The first official business casualty has been claimed. Part of the loss of 23,000 jobs, Seahawk Drilling, a publicly-held drilling services company, has declared bankruptcy.
Employees will be laid off, and stockholders will loose their investments.
The clueless Obama doesn’t even recognize that companies not making profits don’t pay taxes, unemployed workers don’t pay taxes, shareholders don’t pay taxes on their capital gains, and that of course means reduced revenues to the governments, local, state and federal. Of course his workaround for that was his proposed tax bill, I mean “proposed budget”. He doesn’t comprehend either that no domestic oil production increases oil imports from America hating dictatorships, Russia, Venezuela, any Islamofacist Middle East country.
China by the way is running all over the place making huge purchases of oil producing lands and waters.
Obama is big on windmills, most of them being made by China, the little GM Volt that you won’t be able to charge because there won’t be enough coal or oil to produce electricity, and solar panels that are being made mostly in China.
There are already rolling brownouts in this country because electricity production is being curtailed so much. There’s a refinery in Montana that wants to expand but protesters are blocking it. Really? Gas prices are headed back up to $4 a gallon, and Gore’s Gaia worshippers want to drive it even higher? Well, yeah, they do.
Does this make any sense? Shutting down energy production in our country, our national life blood?
Shutting down businesses that create jobs and tax revenue?
Forcing people out of work?
Creating an anti business climate that sends his much vaunted “green jobs” to our enemy, China?
Obama is doing this all outside the law and his Constitutional authority. Environmental regulations are being written and enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency which has no authority to do so. The FCC has written laws and regulations for the internet, is attempting to enforce them, and it has no authority do to so. Just a reminder here, only legislatures can pass laws, not bureaucrats at the direction of an arrogant lawless president. ObamaCare has been voided and ruled unconstitutional by a Federal Court, yet he keeps on enforcing it. The Gulf oil drilling moratorium has been ruled illegal and unconstitutional by Federal Courts.
Our President ignores the law. He is thumbing his nose at the American people.
This is a frightful thing. FDR had the same mindset, and did everything he could to overturn the Constitution and ignore the law. He and his successor were stopped, and I hope and pray this man will be to.
