1001Inventions?

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has released a vid on the State Department web site here, praising the inventiveness and ingenuity of Muslims. (More accurately the Arab world.) Not so much. The world is not, materially, better off for their contributions. Here's the opening to her statement: "I am delighted to send greetings to each of you at this year’s “1001Inventions,” celebrating a millennium of science and innovation in the Muslim world."

Has anyone heard a similar declaration about the accomplishments of the Jewish world?
