May each of you have the heart to conceive, the understanding to direct, and the hand to execute works that will leave the world a little better for your having been here. -- Ronald Reagan

The Two Faces of Eco-Fascists and the Jurassic Press

"The documents appear to have been acquired illegally and contain all manner of private information and statements that were never intended for the public eye, so they won't be posted here."--New York Times, on the Climategate emails, Nov. 20, 2009

"The articles published today and in coming days are based on thousands of United States embassy cables, the daily reports from the field intended for the eyes of senior policy makers in Washington. . . . The Times believes that the documents serve an important public interest, illuminating the goals, successes, compromises and frustrations of American diplomacy in a way that other accounts cannot match."--New York Times, on the WikiLeaks documents, Nov. 29, 2010

Different tune being played here, and this view runs through all the Jurassic Press. The Statist push for both national and international legislation is just a control device to shake down "developed" countries and redistribute the wealth they have earned, to countries that reject social and economic policies that creates health, wealth, and comfort.

The Gaia worshippers have been meeting in Cancun, flying in on private jets, driving around in SUV’s and limo’s, staying in five star hotels, and telling the world that successful countries must pay up $trillions to poorer countries. There’s a knucklehead economist from Germany, Ottmar Edenhofer:
"Basically it's a big mistake to discuss climate policy separately from the major themes of globalization. The climate summit in Cancun at the end of the month is not a climate conference, but one of the largest economic conferences since the Second World War. ... First of all, developed countries have basically expropriated the atmosphere of the world community. But one must say clearly that we redistribute de facto the world's wealth by climate policy. Obviously, the owners of coal and oil will not be enthusiastic about this. One has to free oneself from the illusion that international climate policy is environmental policy. This has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole."
Oops, sometimes these Statists let slip what their real intentions are. Ol’ Ottmar is, by the way, co-chair of the ‘UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Working Group III on Mitigation of Climate Change’. Guess there has to be co-chairs to heft the long pretentious title around.

The Jurassic Press didn't have a problem either with Sarah Palin's personal email account hacked and published.

The Jurassic Press didn't have a problem when some Democrat operatives in Florida recorded a private conversation between Newt Gringrich and some of the Republican House leadership members, which was released by the Democrat leadership in violation of Federal Law. The congressman nor the operatives were prosecuted.

The Jurassic Press is for the violation of privacy and the law when it suits their Statist purposes.
