Democrat Voters

I’ve just written about the imbalance in the Arizona senate race. One with leadership experience, training and education, McSally and an anti-capitalist, anti-military pink tutu wearing protester with no leadership creds and a degree in social work. This imbalance shows elsewhere.

In Georgia, Democrat Stacey Abrams is leading in the polls. This weekend Black Panthers marched through Atlanta brandishing AR15’s chanting ‘power to the people’ and ‘black power’.  Of course she supports banning “assault” weapons even though it would be unconstitutional. She’s walked back that stance and said it should be done through legislation.

She’s for all the standard Leftist issues, and like the rest of the Leftist radicals running for office, tones down, explains the nuance causing the misunderstanding of what she’s said before.

Educationally and the government experience is about the same between her and her opponent, Brian Kemp. Difference is one is anti-second amendment, has the support of the violent Black Panthers, open borders, pro illegal immigration, and the rest. Kemp, though not entirely conservative supports immigration law, and the rest of the Trump agenda.

Beto O’Rourke has accomplished nothing in his life, yet seems to think he can win because celebrities have given him oceans of money. A media blackout isn’t letting the public know he’s probably sending money to the “caravan”. Ted Cruz has Texas locked down.

In Florida Andrew Gillum has a lot of corruption charges against him as Mayor of Tallahassee and if it’s brought up you’re a racist. He’s for open borders, for abolishing ICE and the usual Radical Leftist programs. His opponent is Ron DeSantis, who went to Yale then Harvard law school, and served as a Jag officer, was in Seal Team One, was in Fallujah. Again a person with life experience, combat experience and leadership experience and training.

I know I’m a partisan, but good grief, when you have person back peddling, softening their policies and position to move themselves to the center, have been political operatives all their lives, don’t support the rule of law, vs, people with military, combat, leadership experience, have been to various leadership schools, say what they stand for straight up without covering up those policies and principles; to me choices are clear. That half the country prefers people that only talk talk talk without the walk walk walk  and that astounds me.

So I’m counting on McCallum, Kemp, DeSantis, and others with experience in the real world, with leadership experience and training, believe the rule of law is the rule, are selected to lead their communities and the corrupt liars and political operatives are kicked to the curb.

Obama during the rebellion of the citizens of Iran, "The Green Revolution" stood on the sidelines. The term "leading from behind"  from Ryan Lizza of the New Yorker was praised as foreign policy doctrine. Obama in Libya got involved illegally in a war and sits on the sidelines, resulting in a deadly, bloody stalemate. He didn't lead on the "stimulus package", Reid and Pelosi (the first female ex-Speaker of the House) did, and he didn't lead on Obamacare, Reid and Pelosi did. Now he holds a bunch of press conferences, words, saying we need leadership now more than ever. Well, how about some?

Two and a half years into his regime, it's still Bush's fault. Leadership.

This Country Needs a Man to Lead

Going back to February of Obama’s first year, I lamented he had already taken to blaming the previous administration for the troubles the country was experiencing. I noted a leader never ever blames his predecessor for anything, or even brings up the previous holder of a position at all. It shows immaturity and weakness. This is especially so when taking over an elected office. Presumably, one campaigned on the ineffectiveness of one’s opponent, and could do a better job.

More than two years into his administration, Obama is still blaming his predecessor. When his political opposition presents a serious budget to begin reducing the debt, he insults the main writer, Paul Ryan, who has spent years mastering and producing this massive piece of legislation. He jumps on the demonizing of the opposition political party, calling them names, and repeating the standard old saw about starving the working class to feed the rich.

He talked in public during the Gulf oil spill last year about wanting an investigation to know “whose ass to kick”. Really and truly? We want the President of the United States to talk like this?

He insulted the Justices of the Supreme Court, lied about a ruling they had made, during a State of the Union speech. It’s just not done.

When he called Republican negotiators to the White House during the ObamaCare debates, one of the Republicans actually brought the proposed bill, and Obama called it a prop. When he was challenged on an issue, he told the challenger, “we won”.  

Going back to his election, Senator McCain had the grace to congratulate Obama on his nomination. When McCain won his party’s nomination he didn’t return the favor. That night he went Bill O’Reilly’s show, upstaging McCain’s win. Lack of grace.

This guy just doesn’t have the “gravitas” that the Left often thinks Republican or Conservative candidates or office holder’s lack, and this is just flat out ignored or denied. Yet during the Gulf oil spill he went on vacation and no action was taken for months. Went to war in Libya without congressional approval, and took a trip to South America.

He supported union thugs and bussed people in to Wisconsin to disrupt the work of elected officials there. This past week there were TEA Party rallies all over the country, and there of dozens of vids of Leftist thugs, supported by Obama, physically intimidating attendees and shouting down speakers. He has never spoken against this kind of behavior.

A few days ago when a tornado swept through the south causing $millions in damage and killing 45 people, Obama went and played his 64^th round of golf.

Most of his speeches he gives at colleges and universities. Can’t take an adult crowd?

I had not thought the Presidency could be demeaned as much as white trash Clinton, but this guy has done it. His lack of gravitas, care about the people of this country, not taking care of business to go vacation and play, his constantly insulting his opposition instead of putting forth working policies, all speak of a man child, just not grown up enough, and not smart enough for the job.  A whiner and a crybaby. Not what we want in the Oval Office.

That Sucking Sound You Hear Isn't Oil Being Skimmed

The sucking sound you do hear is the vacuum left by the lack of leadership from the White House. I've been writing since the second month of the Obama administration that this guy is a whinny crybaby that has no leadership skills. Because of his lack of any management experience, he can't even handle daily events, let alone an emergency like we have in the Gulf. The crybaby perception is the result of his blaming, over a year and a half into his administration, GW Bush for all his problems. Top rule of leadership is to never say anything about your predecessor.

I ranted in an earlier blog about his do nothingness regarding the Gulf oil disaster. We shouldn't be surprised. This is a guy that voted "present" on nearly every issue when he was in the Illinois Senate, and did the same in the US Senate. In the US Senate, to be fair, he missed a lot a votes because he was out campaigning right after he was elected to that once honorable body. So sometimes he didn't vote "present". He avoided making decisions then, never had to make any decisions before that in his professional life, and is avoiding making decisions now.

His lack of ability to lead or even manage, due to cowardice, has led to the dismissal of a fine General, General Stanley McChrystal, U.S. commander in Afghanistan. Obama is Commander in Chief, and when in command, there has to be solid missions set out and adhered to until completion. In the military there's flexibility to adjust to the situation on the ground. In Obama's oligarchy, he has academics and political operatives that have no understanding of the military. If the top of the command structure is in disarray, then the subordinates will reflect that. McChrystal and his staff were wrong in what they did, but when their boss and his staff are incompetent, argue about the results they want what the mission is, it's a problem. Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Vice President Biden, Gen. David Petraeus, Richard Holbrooke and their staffs all argue about the mission in Afghanistan, sending mixed messages to the Military. I guarantee you this is felt all down the ranks, and is seriously demoralizing. I experienced it first hand while in the Navy during the Carter administration. Remember, McChrystal asked for 40,000-45,000 additional troops for optimal success of the mission in Afghanistan, and after 10 months of waiting he got 30,000 promised, plus a deadline for end of the campaign. The inept Obama does not understand that if you tell your enemy your intentions, he will exploit it and kill your troops while doing other serious damage. US troop deaths are up. No surprise there. The Afghanistan mission is on the road to failure. I think that because Obama is so incompetent, the US Military should be withdrawn from the theater before he gets anymore servicemen killed.

Then there's the disaster in the Gulf, and right now 59% of the American people don't think he's handling it well. My thoughts on Obama's incompetency and inability, along with timeline of events and non-action here.

Money. Yesterday or the day before it was announced that the Democrat controlled Congress won't pass a budget, which is mandated by the Constitution. Actually it's one of the few things the Constitution says is a duty of the government. I'm not sure, but I don't think, at least in my lifetime, that Congress has not submitted a budget. I haven't even heard if Obama submitted a budget. Usually by this time of the legislative year, if there were a Republican president, we'd be hearing the Jurassic Press saying "the president's budget is dead on arrival". After looking at a $1.3 trillion increase in spending in about a year, the largest increase in domestic spending since WWII, and a multi-$trillion increase on a massive health care and insurance bill with no way to pay for it, this country is on track to have it's debt exceed the value of the assets of the country. No leadership here. He simply doesn't know what to do. He doesn't understand economics any more that he understands the military.

He's failed with the economy. He's failed with the military. He's failed with the crisis in the Gulf. The enemies of Western Civilization are rattling their sabers even louder because they know he's weak and a coward. We are in grave danger because an indecisive child is in a man's position of power.

It's Bush's Fault

This is reaching the level of hilarity. Except it's so sad.

Arianna Huffington: “...the truth is, that right now we have precisely the regulatory system that the Bush-Cheney administration wanted. Full of loopholes, full of cronies and lobbyists filling the very agencies they're supposed to be overseeing the industry.” ummmmm, Arianna, all the people in the Environmental agencies are Obama people, all the regulators are Obama people, 'cause Obama fired all the Bush people. More Huff: "It is absolutely a thousand percent Bush-Cheney's fault."

On the CBS Evening News: Bush was the reason the Gore's split up.
Attkisson: “...it's been ten years since that oddly public passionate kiss at the Democratic convention. That was followed by Gore winning the popular vote for President but losing the electoral vote. Family friend Sally Quinn says that may have done the marriage irreparable harm.”
Quinn: “He obviously suffered a lot and still is suffering. He'll never get over that and neither will she.”
See if Bush had not stolen the election, they would still be together!

The flotilla/blockade issue with Israel. It's Bush's fault. CNN's Fareed Zakaria, and editor of Newsweek International: "Turkey was also playing a new and potentially dangerous game here," Zakaria said. "Despite being physically and historically connected to Europe, Turkey is increasingly playing a role that distances itself from those roots. Once a strong U.S. ally, a founding member of NATO, Turkey now often looks more like a troublemaker than a friend." The reason this happened? "The United States for its part did not handle Turkish relations well, especially under the previous administration," Zakaria said. "The Bush team treated Turkey with the usual mixture of arrogance and high-handedness and then was outraged when the Turkish parliament refused to go along with its war plans in Iraq. Then they repeatedly snubbed Turkey over the next few years."

The 10% unemployment rate is Bush's fault. After 16 months? Didn't Obama say he could do a better job? If his policies are better, wouldn't last month's employment numbers show better that a 21,000 job increase in the private sector? After 16 months?

The economic mess. Bush did the TARP and Obama signed off on it. Endorsed it enthusiastically. (Conservatives were against it.) Then the Stimulus package by Obama, followed by a bailout package by Obama. It's Bush's fault though.

What are the Dems' primary strategy for this fall's election? Blame everything on Bush. I'm serious. The memos and talking points are already coming out of the Dem war room.

Count on too, when the Bush tax cuts expire, and we hit a double dip recession as a result, the Dems will blame Bush. 'If Bush hadn't of had those nasty tax cuts in the first place, we wouldn't have had to let them expire causing this second recessionary dip.'

I've written since February, when Obama started the Bush blame game, that it showed a lack of maturity and leadership. A real leader never says anything about his predecessor. A mature person never blames others for his situation. He just figures out where to go from where he is. Obama doesn't have the managerial skills, life experience, crisis management skills or experience, and certainly not the maturity to do the job.

The Tao te Ching notes two kinds of leaders. One is detailed, hands on, involved in everything. The other kind, knows his weaknesses, but knows who to place around him to handle details. Obama isn't knowledgeable or experienced enough for the first. Applying the second, he's surrounded himself with people like himself...academics with no experience of anything. Obama hasn't shown himself to be either kind of leader.

But, I guess that's Bush's fault.

Obama Asks for Some Cheese and Crackers to Go with His Whine

I had written in February of 2009, the second month of Obama's administration here, about his whining about the mess he's inherited. If someone takes a job, saying he can do it better, then end of story. Good leaders never badmouth who they replace. It's bad form to say the least.

It shows a serious lack of leadership when year and four months after assuming the position, that Obama is still blaming Bush and Republicans for the problems we're having. Speaking in Buffalo, NY, yesterday, he did just that. He said that he and his party moved "quickly" to fix the financial problems when he came to power, and that the whole time he's been in office Republicans have been doing their best to "gum up the works". Note to Obama, Republicans have no power. Both houses of Congress controlled by Dems, with him in the executive branch, and the judicial branch pretty much makes socialist rulings from the bench.

Republicans could not and cannot stop him and he got, and gets, his way, things get worse, and it's somebody else's fault? What, if Republicans had voted for all his socialist programs they would have worked?

Reagan came into office facing a worse situation. Unemployment was double digit, inflation was double digit, the military had been gutted, Carter had been talking about the 'cultural malaise', and interest rates were double digit (at one point 21.5%). All that and Congress was Democrat controlled. He didn't say one word about his predecessor, or whine about the mess he inherited. During his administration, while not bad mouthing his opposition or his predecessor, the economy grew by 31%, manufacturing grew by 48%, 18.4 million jobs were created, per capita income grew by 20%, and exports grew by 92.6%. He did this with the Democrats controlling both houses of Congress and opposing him every step of the way.

Obama on his opposition: "Their basic attitude has been, if Democrats lose, we win. After they drove the car in the ditch, made it as difficult as possible for us to pull it back, now they want the keys back. No. They can't drive. We don't want to have to go back in the ditch."

Obama and the Dems believe increased government control, higher tax rates and increased spending, printing and borrowing money is the solution. Republicans believe the opposite (with the exception of some RINO's). A reminder here that the Democrats from the 1930's to the present have controlled Congress, with the exception of a couple times, in the 1950's and 1990's. Over two thirds of a century of Democrat control. The Republicans lost the last two election cycles because they became Dem Lite, not because they opposed the Dems.

In the same vein as Obama whining, have you noticed the Dems whining about the Gulf oil spill? They are saying it's Bush, Cheney and Halliburton's fault. I even read the comments of some knucklehead congressman that it was Reagan's fault!

Waawaaawaaaa.....grow up and take responsibility people. You said you could do a better job, and you're not, so don't blame others for your incompetence and bad policies.
