Gov Scott Walker vs Democrats Wanting High Unemployment and Debt

Democrats, Unions and the Jurassic Press have been campaigning and spending $millions to recall Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker. The recall is in a few days, June 6. For the past few weeks it looks like the Leftists will be defeated. Now the Democrats and the rest are reverse spinning and saying it’s not such a big deal. Right.

Leftists are against anything that works for anybody else but themselves. Their whole gig is to get taxpayer money for spending to keep themselves in power and money. One would think policies eliminating debt, saving money and creating jobs would be a good thing. Not if you’re a Democrat, Leftist, union member.

State employees were paying nothing up to 6% for their health care premiums. Total compensation for a Wisconsin employee last year was $71,000. Employees in the Milwaukee Public School District had $101,091 compensation. All the protests in the Capitol Building, the death threats against Walker and his family, Leftists going to the homes of Republican legislators and all the rest was because they raised a little bit the amount government employees had to pay for their own health care premiums and pensions. He required them to contribute to their own health insurance 12.6% and their own pensions 5%.

Some of the savings went to this horrible project; the Brown Deer school district is now able to build a new school, 68% of the cost of the $22 million coming from the savings generated by Walker’s policies. Democrats are against new schools.

Medicaid is supposed to be financed by States. Because of his policies, funding for it increased by $1.2 billion. By the way, no taxes were increased to do this. Democrats think the only solution to anything is to raise taxes, rather than find a way to solve a problem. Looks like Democrats are against financing Medicaid.

Wisconsin’s unemployment rate has dropped to 6.8%. Part of that was very helpful keeping teachers employed. They were facing massive layoffs. Paying for all the goodies like pensions and health couldn’t be afforded for so many teachers. Democrat's response was to fire a bunch of them. Walker’s policies kept teachers employed. There are some school districts that did not implement Walker’s policy of increased health and pension payments. They had to lay off a lot of teachers. Democrats are against employed teachers.

Democrats campaigning against him, most notably Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett have no plan to balance the budget, cut costs, fund Medicare, or pay for anything except by raising taxes. What they’ve done for two years instead is investigate Walker for criminal charges from his county-executive days. They netted some people from that office that engaged in some crimes, but nothing on Walker. By the way, Mayor Barrett benefitted from Walker’s policies. The city is doing better financially than it has in years. They have a balanced budget and $10 million surplus. Democrats are against balanced budgets and government $urplus.

Massive demonstrations costing the State $millions for clean up and repair, personal attacks, comparisons of Walker to Hitler and other murderous dictators, protests at the homes of Republicans, vile insults, Democrats fleeing the State so they wouldn’t have to vote on Walker’s proposed policies, and they only thing they offer is to go back to public employees not paying for their benefits and higher taxes. Democrats hate solutions that work.

Dems Still Causing Political and Economic Mayhem in Wisconsin

Gov Scott Walker

The recall of Gov Scott Walker of Wisconsin has become something of a mess. The national unions and the Democrat Party pulled together a massive national effort to recall Gov Walker because he’s done what he said during the campaign he was going to do. You know, something stupid and irresponsible like paying down the state’s debt and increasing employment.

Where the mess comes in, and I’m not talking about the mess these Leftist goons did destroying millions of dollars of property during their protests and breaking a lot of laws they didn’t get punished for, but the election mess. Wisconsin has a lot of elections coming up. There’s a primary May 1st, and a general election on May 29th. Then there’s the presidential primary April 3rd. The state election board has given two dates for the recall vote, which besides Gov Walker includes five Republicans, May 15 and June 12. Republicans, to reduce costs (these things cost lost of money) want to roll the recall votes into one.

The national Leftist political machine wants two different recall dates. Leftist Attorney Jeremy Levinson: "That seems totally unreasonable and unnecessary and it would change the character of the election." Since Leftists are irresponsible about money (because they only use other people’s money) they see this as a political ploy by Republicans. All those elections and two recall votes are a bit much, in terms of both fiscal and time costs. I know Leftists don’t understand people that actually have to go to work, but this could seriously cut into citizens’ day.

Wisconsin Democrat hard at work protesting
When Walker ran for governor, he said he would curtail the collective bargaining power of government employees unions, which he did. If you’ll remember, this was the whole source of the“occupy” mess (literal mess with $millions of property damage and garbage resulting), and yet one of the Leftists planning to run against Walker, Kathleen Falk, said Walker was dishonest because he didn’t talk about curtailing state employee unions’ bargaining power. Problem is there were several articles in the Sentinel during the campaign about his saying just that.

All this stupid stuff from the Democrats, supported by the national Democrat Party, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, national unions, of Democrat state legislators fleeng the state to avoid voting, occupied and filled the capitol building with filth and garbage causing $millions in damage, lots of arrests, some violence, tried to get a judge recalled and failed, then created this election mess. All the Republicans did was campaign, win office and implement what they said they were going to do. No violence, no property damage, no political cowardice.

Of course the Democrats are upset. The state debt is going down, employment is going up, and kids are getting educated. The horror!

All this could be avoided if we went back to states being states, and not wards of the federal government and all the other interventions into states by national entities. My view is there should be no money from outside sources into the politics of a state. Local politicians and the state political party should only get money locally. States have personalities, are the reflection of the people that live there. That gets corrupted when big, usually East coast money, gets pumped in. Unions should do not belong in the public sector. If one works for the government, that’s working for the citizens, and what they can afford. The pay and benefits even without unions are usually higher than the public sector, and if they don’t like it, they can go work in the private sector and join a union there.

Governor Scott Walker's Speech at CPAC 2012

Scott Walker has had the Jurassic Press tell outright lies about him and his policies in support of the corrupt unions. The State Capitol Building was Occupied and $Millions in property damage resulted. Not only did they protest there, they went to his home, not the Governor’s residence and protested. Fourteen Democrat Party State Legislators fled the state to avoid voting on the budget, mostly because collective bargaining (not a right) was going to be taken away from the unions. Judge Maryann Sumi tried blocking publication of what was termed the “budget repair bill”, and after some legal battles she was overturned by the Wisconsin Supreme Court. The Democrat Party and their Union thugs ran a dirty campaign to get a conservative judge thrown off the Supreme Court. There was a recall of some Republican legislators. He faces a recall with money and support nationally from the Democrat Party (and Obama supports this attack) and national union thugs. In the speech below he chronicles this national Leftist attack. As a side note, this President of the United States, proving once again he doesn’t believe in States Rights, has sued a couple states and has weighed in on this attack on a sitting governor. Legislation needs to be passed that state elections and state issues cannot use money from out of state organizations. Because Leftists can do this they can centralize their agenda resulting in everyone having to obey the Federal Government. People should be able to choose to live in states that have a government to respects and has similar political, socio-economic values.

Back to Scott Walker. Some of the things he’s been able to do, in the face of massive national Leftist, Union, Democrat Party opposition is reduce the states $3.6 Billion deficit without tax increases or massive layoffs of state employees.  About $850 in savings to local governments have been seen. School districts can hire and fire based on merit rather than seniority. Tenure is out the window for teachers. I never did get that concept. Every other job I know of, if you don’t produce with a certain level of quality, it results in termination. School property taxes have been reduced. There’s school choice now, citizens with children aren’t forced to attend schools the government says they have to.

This speech is the keynote speech for the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference). Actual speech begins at about 4mins.

Another side note, linking into one of my pet peeves...when I Googled attacks on Scott Walker, nearly all the results were press attacks on what was termed by them attacks on freedom of whatever by Walker

Dems Hate Disabled Children

Really Liberals? Going to events to acknowledge disadvantaged people, especially little kids? Shame. But Liberals have no idea what that is.

http://youtu.be/dcuqM1LEi5c

Liberals do this kind of thing all the time. They destroy property, disrupt meetings of regular citizens, intimidate, start fights, and go to the homes of people they disagree with and threaten their families. This week they protested Governor Walker at a retirement home and the ER of a children's hospital in addition to this Special Olympics event. Really?

Leftist Thugs Still on the Attack in Wisconsin

Some TEA Partiers and other supporters of what the Republicans are doing in Wisconsin had gotten together a recall petition signing event to recall one of the cowardly Democrat fleebaggers, State Senator Holperin. They were attacked by union thugs and other supporters of cowardly fleebaggers.
Local news station reports:

The event was going to be held at a restaurant, but they called it off because union and Democrat Party thugs threatened to burn them down. Apparently that was only one of the fifty threats to the restaurant.

Kim Simac, one of the recall organizers:
“They circled around us, and they’re bullying us. They have a loud horn and they’re trying to intimidate people that would like to come and sign the petition.”  “We had a lady come up and write profanity and rip some of them right on our table…. so I guess that’s what democracy looks like to them.”

Of course one of the thugs says it’s a minor thing, that this wasn’t their intent. Really? Then how come whenever there are TEA Partiers and supporters of the Republicans gathered, this kind of thing happens?

Thanks so much Leftists, for showing those violent, racist TEA Partiers how to act. The new civility indeed.

Send Me a Letter...Well, Maybe Not This Letter

Fleebagger Wisconsin coward Senator Mark Miller wanted to meet the Governor alone and unarmed along the wilds of the Wisonsin/Illinois border. Ya gotta love this response!
March 7, 2011
Sen. Mark Miller
Parts Unknown, IL
Dear Senator Miller,
Thank you for your hand-delivered letter with an offer to meet, in Illinois, about the business and future direction of Wisconsin.
Let’s set aside how bizarre that is for a moment.
As you know, this legislation is designed to finally balance the state budget, prevent layoffs and create jobs in the real world. There are hundreds of thousands of unemployed or underemployed Wisconsinites, and at least 1,500 more whose jobs are in the balance because of your media stunt. We all deserve better than this.
In the meantime, members of your caucus have been meeting with the governor’s staff, talking to the media, trying to find a way back to Madison, and contradicting your message in public. In case you don’t remember, you were present yourself at one of those meetings with the governor’s staff. Your grasp of reality, and control of your caucus as minority leader, continues to amaze me.
As you know, your opportunity to compromise and amend the bill was on the floor of the state Senate. As you know, you forfeited that right and opportunity when you decided to flee the state instead of doing your job.
Your stubbornness in trying to ignore the last election and protect the broken status quo is truly shameful. While we wait for you and your colleagues to finally show up, Senate Republicans continue to stand ready to do the job we were elected to do, here in Wisconsin. I hope you are enjoying your vacation, and your vacation from reality.
Sincerely,
Scott Fitzgerald
Senate Majority Leader
CC: Governor Scott Walker
