World Poverty and Immigration - What's Being Done Now is Not Working
This is the most clear explanation of mass immigration as a policy to reduce world poverty is a non starter and is seriously ineffective. It's even harmful to the countries that we allow vast numbers to immigrate from.

Ted Cruz Speaking to the Senate
Ted Cruz speaking the truth before the Senate. What's happening in Congress, inside the Beltway, even our culture. It's in a hour but more than worth the time.

21st Century Mindless Man
Two views of nations, immigration and borders, offered by two presidents, each at the beginning of their perspective century's.
In a letter just before he died dated in 1919:
Barak Obama, today: "We are Not Defined by Our Borders"
Barry Sotero, ummm, I mean Barak Obama, is a citizen of the world and doesn't believe in borders. Except maybe the borders of any property he owns.
During this ceremony El Presidente Calderone insulted the citizens of the US, especially the citizens of Arizona for being racists and whatever the Statist talking points are. Our president agrees with him. Of course there are thousands of people in Mexico that have been beaten, robbed, tortured and thrown in prison to rot for violating their immigration laws. If you're lucky when you're caught without papers coming up across the southern border of corrupt drug cartel governed Mexico, you may only be beaten and robbed by the Federales before being tossed back across the border.
Love this idea: Reciprocal immigration laws. If you come to the US, you have to do so applying the same laws as your country of origin. If you're a Mexican here illegally, our cops can throw you in jail without due process, lawyers, notification of anyone, etc. Just for example.
In a letter just before he died dated in 1919:
"In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the man's becoming in very fact an American, and nothing but an American...
There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag, and this excludes the red flag, which symbolizes all wars against liberty and civilization, just as much as it excludes any foreign flag of a nation to which we are hostile...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."
