Colonel Martha McSally: Straight Talking Conservative Republican

Colonel Martha McSally has announced she’ll be running for congress in the special election to replace retiring Gabrielle Giffords. She’s a combat veteran, fighter pilot, that in 2002 challenged and won against Department of Defense rule that women going off base in Saudi Arabia had to wear Muslim clothing, the face and head scarf and all that.

Not only was she a fighter pilot, she was a squadron leader. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from Harvard’s JFK School of Government. She’s a triathlete and has climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.

She’s a Republican, pro-second amendment, pro-life, and as far as I can tell so far, a conservative, not a RINO.

And she has that military way of plain speaking:

The Democrats had been thinking they have enough of the sympathy vote to keep Gifford's district, but if McSally follows up on her stated intention of running, and announces she's in the race, the Dems may lose yet another seat.

Civil Leftists Showing The Rest of Us How To Be Civil and Respectful of Others

Much of the audio is going after Palin when she said certain districts should be 'targeted' for Republican wins, and blaming that on the Gabrielle Giffords shooting in Tucson. The vid is hate filled vilness the Left speaks in all the time. It's what I get hit with when I go on a Leftist site and say something really hateful and racist like we should limit the size of government and lower taxes. Warning: this is vile nasty language.

The Left's Lies About "Blood Libel"

Sarah Palin: "America's Enduring Strength" from Sarah Palin on Vimeo.

Hank Sheinkopf, Democrat Party “consultant”, claiming to be Jewish, said:
“The blood libel is something anti-Semites have historically used in Europe as an excuse to murder Jews — the comparison is stupid. Jews and rational people will find it objectionable.” “This will forever link her to the events in Tucson. It deepens the hole she’s already dug for herself. … It’s absolutely inappropriate.”

I said about Sheinkopf, ‘claiming’ to be Jewish, because first and foremost he’s a liar, and second a Statist.

First, Palin isn’t in any hole; she’s been blamed for the shooting in Tucson from the second hour of the event. The shooter had a beef with Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords before Palin hit the national scene. The Left’s Palin Derangement Syndrome went full blast with this. One knucklehead “reporter” said Palin had once again found a way to insert herself into a national story. How’d she do that? She defended herself against the libel from the Jurassic Press and the leadership of the Democrat Party. Of course Rush Limbaugh had a hand in this too. He and Palin are accessories to murder according to the Jurassic Press and Democrat Party.

Blood libel is not, as the Jurassic Press and Leftist Jews are using it, an anti-Semitic accusation from the Middle Ages that Jews killed Christian babies and used their blood to make matzo for Passover. Muslims and other anti-Semites use this now, often repeated; it very popular in the Middle East. If anything it’s a defense of Jews against that libel, just as Palin has defended the Right from the Left’s intolerant bigoted lies about anyone that does not agree with the Statist agenda.

Palin’s analogy is correct and just. Just as anti-Semites put blood on the hands of Jews, the Left has put the blood of the Tucson murders on the hands of Conservatives specifically, and Republicans in a broader context this past week. The accusation that the murderer was incited to murder by the ‘right wing’ is as false accusation, just as the accusation of Jews murdering Christian babies is false.

The Left has no shame. They lie about Sarah Palin, lie about the causes of the murders, lie about what ‘blood libel’ is, and then call Palin anti-Semitic because she fit their lying definition of ‘blood libel’.

I’m disgusted.

Controlling Chaos With Lies

My previous post observed the despicable use, by the Left, to politicize the tragic deaths and wounding of several innocent people by a crazed nut case recently in Tucson, AZ.

George Will makes some interesting and powerful observations about how this development of the Left’s pinning evil acts and people onto Conservatives, Christians, and just plain ol’ ordinary citizens trying to make a living for themselves and their families.
“The craving is for banishing randomness and the inexplicable from human experience. Time was, the gods were useful. What is thunder? The gods are angry. Polytheism was explanatory. People postulated causations.
And still do. Hence: The Tucson shooter was (pick your verb) provoked, triggered, unhinged by today's (pick your noun) rhetoric, vitriol, extremism, ‘climate of hate’."
A characteristic of many contemporary minds is susceptibility to the superstition that all behavior can be traced to some diagnosable frame of mind that is a product of promptings from the social environment. From which flows a political doctrine: Given clever social engineering, society and people can be perfected. This supposedly is the path to progress. It actually is the crux of progressivism. And it is why there is a reflex to blame conservatives first."
Rather than engage in debate and discussion of issues, remember that the primary assault on the TEA Party, whose only agenda is lower taxes and limited government, were labeled over and over and over as racists. Racist because the president is black, and if one disagrees with his policies, then one is a racist.

Will again:
"Three days before Tucson, Howard Dean explained that the Tea Party movement is "the last gasp of the generation that has trouble with diversity." Rising to the challenge of lowering his reputation and the tone of public discourse, Dean smeared Tea Partyers as racists: They oppose Obama's agenda, Obama is African American, ergo . . .
Let us hope that Dean is the last gasp of the generation of liberals whose default position in any argument is to indict opponents as racists. This McCarthyism of the left - devoid of intellectual content, unsupported by data - is a mental tic, not an idea but a tactic for avoiding engagement with ideas. It expresses limitless contempt for the American people, who have reciprocated by reducing liberalism to its current characteristics of electoral weakness and bad sociology."
I’m optimistic that this kind of demonization the Left engages in, doing in fact what they claim Conservatives and Traditionalist do, is finally being recognized by ordinary citizens for the lies and hypocrisy it is, and the Left will be pushed back, hopefully for a long enough time for this country to decompress from the lies and hatred that has caused us so much socioeconomic distress.

Trading Death and Tragedy Into Political Gain

Jared Lee Loughner's Mug Shot

Dems and the Jurassic Press blame all violence on the Right, anyone to the Right of them being by definition an extremist, of all on the Right being violent by nature. Thinking back to the emergence of the TEA Party movement how they were Nazi’s (Nancy Pelosi making that claim often and early), and those Docker wearing Dad’s with Polo shirts were a bunch of violent racists; we covered that for nearly two years leading up to the 2010 election. The Oklahoma bombing Bill Clinton directly blamed on Rush Limbaugh, and the guy in Texas that flew in the IRS building was immediately labeled a right wing extremist even though he turned out to be a Leftist.

Statists in this country bemoan the “politics of personal destruction” but one needs look no further than the vileness directed at Sarah Palin the last two years, the attacks on her children, the personal attacks on GW Bush and Dick Cheney to see they don’t walk the talk. There was Murtha, an ex-Marine and congressman calling US soldiers in combat murderers, and Dick Durban comparing US soldiers to Soviet Gulag Stalin style murderers and torturers, Pol Pot, Hitler, and all the vile rest.

Now we have a gunman in Tucson, AZ kill and wound many. How do the Dems and Jurassic Press respond?

Within in an hour of the event on CNN this exchange with David Fitzsimmons, a political cartoonist for the Arizona Daily Star:
Fitzsimmons: I must tell you, as a columnist who's covered politics in this state, it was inevitable from my perspective.
Savidge: Why do you say that?
Fitzsimmons: Because the right in Arizona, and I'm speaking very broadly, has been stoking the fire of heated anger and rage successfully in this state. And, you know, it's just stunning when you consider Congresswoman Giffords's positions on the issues. She is a centrist. She is a moderate. And I don't know who the shooter is--have no idea who the shooter is--but what could possibly motivate an individual to be enraged against, or to take down, a moderate centrist? To me that just paints a picture of how off the mark the politics of this state have grown.
Fitzsimmons and his newspaper later apologized for the comment. It was such an emotional moment don’t you see….well, boo hoo. This is what these people are about. Don’t believe a word of it.

Then there’s the Marxist economist Paul Krugman that has been proven wrong about all of his economic and political analysis:
We don't have proof yet that this was political, but the odds are that it was. She's been the target of violence before. And for those wondering why a Blue Dog Democrat, the kind Republicans might be able to work with, might be a target, the answer is that she's a Democrat who survived what was otherwise a GOP sweep in Arizona, precisely because the Republicans nominated a Tea Party activist.

Krugman didn’t apologize. He made his statement on the Saturday within a couple hours of the event.

New York Daily News: "Rep. Gabrielle Giffords' Blood Is on Sarah Palin's Hands After Putting Cross Hair Over District."

Politico: "Liberals Blame Sarah Palin in Wake of Tucson Shooting."  This was posted less than three hours after the shootings.

George Packer of the “New Yorker”:
Many conservative leaders, activists, and media figures have made a habit of trying to delegitimize their political opponents. . . . This relentlessly hostile rhetoric has become standard issue on the right.”

Unnamed "veteran Democratic operative" on Politico giving advice to the Left, specifically the White House:
"They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers." "Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people."

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with no information on the shooter:
Look, we have extremists in my country. A wonderful, incredibly brave young woman Congress member, Congresswoman Giffords, was just shot by an extremist in our country. We have the same kinds of problems. So rather than standing off from each other, we should work to try to prevent the extremists anywhere from being able to commit violence.
The extremists and their voices, the crazy voices that sometimes get on the TV, that's not who we are, that's not who you are, and what we have to do is get through that and make it clear that that doesn't represent either American or Arab ideas or opinions.
Really, comparing extremists in this country with Islamofacist terrorists, when an extremist to the Dems and other Statists is anyone who disagrees with them. Any speech critical of them is by definition, to their ears, extremist hate speech.

Then there’s the knucklehead Sheriff Clarence Dupnik of Pima Country that right at the beginning was laying this tragedy at the feet of Conservatives, and specifically laid it at the feet of Rush Limbaugh today:
"The kind of rhetoric that flows from people like Rush Limbaugh, in my judgment he is irresponsible, uses partial information, sometimes wrong information," "Limbaugh attacks people, angers them against government, angers them against elected officials and that kind of behavior in my opinion is not without consequences."
Here’s a vid of the sheriff saying the political climate is the cause of the tragedy. He’s a Democrat by the way.

This murderer went berserk, as have many others in the past, but now someone does something horrific like this, it’s Conservatives fault, Rush Limbaugh’s fault, Hillary’s Vast Right Wing Conspiracy’s fault, George Bush’s fault, no nevermind that there is never ever any evidence of it.

The Left must look to itself and not project its own hatred and intolerance onto others, and not turn death, loss, and tragedy into an opportunity to gain political points. Obama (former) Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel: "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before."

This is their credo; not fairness, tolerance, understanding, compassion or love. It’s power, submission to the State, political correctness.
