Have Thought Will Travel. Ruminate on ideas, philosophy, culture, society, books, music, politics, religion, movies...and see where it takes us.
May each of you have the heart to conceive, the understanding to direct, and the hand to execute works that will leave the world a little better for your having been here. -- Ronald Reagan

Tribute to Eddie Fisher
Eddie Fisher was an early 1950's teen idol that was more noted for his women than his music, which is a shame because he was a gifted singer. He’s also more noted for his drug addictions. He was married to Debbie Reynolds, Elizabeth Taylor, Connie Stevens, and had affairs with Marlene Dietrich, Ann-Margret, Kim Novak, Dinah Shore and Angie Dickinson. Quite a roster. Sad he didn’t respect himself, women, or marriage. Many singers have kept their careers going after their peak, and Fisher decided not to as music changed and his audience dwindled. He had a famous daughter, Carrie Fisher with Debbie Reynolds, is survived four children and six grandchildren. RIP
