Today is Armed Forces Day - A Tribute

Today is Armed Forces Day. Established by Harry Truman in 1949, first celebrated May 20, 1950, to honor all the military services on the same day, so citizens can thank all of them for their service and sacrifice. This year's theme for the day is "United in Strength". The first theme in 1950 was “Teamed for Defense” to recognize all the services unified under the Dept of Defense.
