I had written a couple times earlier about the notion of "Christian Terrorists" here here and here , how Leftists, Secularists and anti-Christian bigots like Sheila Jackson Lee draws moral equivalency between groups they despise and other bad actors. This is shameless, but then again Lee is one of the most stupid people in public office, a liar, anti-Christian bigot and racist.

“Are you familiar with the Christian militants?” she asked former New York Dept. of Correctional Services official Patrick Dunleavy. “Can one might say that they might possibly want to undermine this country because right now the right for women to choose is a Constitutional right but people disagree with it but here is an individual trying to undermine the protections that are given to women? Would you suggest that might be compared to trying to undermine this country? That’s a possibility, is it not?”

Love how these self important narcissists, in hearing after hearing, ask a question, and then drone on without letting a complete answer being provided. I used to be an avid CSPAN watcher, but it fell away mostly for that reason.  

Stupid is as Stupid Does

Amazing the really low powered intellect of some of the people we elect to office. This is Sheila Jackson Lee, a Congresswoman from Texas. Usually Texans have it pretty together, but this woman’s utterances on a regular basis amazes.

Recently she was commenting on the judicial rulings that Obamacare is unconstitutional. Two federal judges have said the Federal government cannot force citizens to buy a product from the private sector.

Here’s Lee’s response in defense of Obamacare and why it’s constitutional.

“The Fifth Amendment speaks specifically to denying someone their life and liberty without due process.” “That is what H.R. 2 does and I rise in opposition to it. And I rise in opposition because it is important that we preserve lives and we recognize that 40 million-plus are uninsured.

 “Can you tell me what’s more unconstitutional than taking away from the people of America their Fifth Amendment rights, their Fourteenth Amendment rights, and the right to equal protection under the law?”

Gibberish. She is clueless human being.

She thought the Superbowl Pepsi ad, where a black couple was arguing, the woman throws a Pepsi can at him and it hits a blond white woman in the head. The blond falls to the ground and the black couple runs away. It’s apparently racist because it demeans black people. Huh?

During a tour of the NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratories in 2005 she asked if the Mars Pathfinder had taken an image of the flag planted there in 1969 by Neil Armstrong!  Huh?

She complained that hurricanes didn’t have black names. All racial groups should be represented. Huh?

Really? This is an elected representative of citizens?  How does this happen? I understand people that have a different socio-economic-political philosophy or world view, but downright stupid?
