Narcissist Acting Brave

Caravaggio "Narcissus"

Navy SEAL  Aaron Carson Vaughn was killed in Afghanistan last year. The SEAL's are being used by the Dems and Obama campaign to show how brave and leader-like Obama is. It took the coward Obama months to give the order to take out bin Laden, then he talks like it was him that let the raid. Like Kerry before him, anti military except at election time. This guy is gutting the military, like he is much else that makes this country what it is (was?). Notice too how Dems seem to make it to [Black] church at election time, but scream about separation of church and state the rest of the years.

This is a campaign ad extolling the bravery {cough} of Obama ordering the bin Laden raid and a mother's response to it. Our Narcissist in Chief. A pretty despicable thing to do. Shame on Bill Clinton too.

Back in August 2011 a Chinook went down in Afghanistan, killing 17 of the 30 US soldiers aboard.  The families got a form letter, signed by an electric pen. Rapper  Heavy D died and the family got a personal letter from Obama. Character and priorities.

Going back to bravery, in what was supposed to be a tribute to a true man of bravery and character, Neil Armstrong, what Obama posted on his page with this, himself gazing at the heavens. Good grief.

His speeches are pack with "my" and "I". Previous presidents use "this administration", or some semblance of that. Slow the rise of the oceans indeed. This causes a combination of sadness and pity for the man-child, at the same time disgust and distain.

Our love and prayers to our military men and women who exhibit true dedication and bravery and sacrifice, and their families. This is a moving tribute to men lost when the helicopter went down. Please stay and pray during the moment of silence here, for our military and their families.

GW Bush still visits wounded soldiers.

Obamaisms

Remember when every time Bush misspoke, mispronounced, or made any kind of speaking error, the Jurassic Press ran with for days of mockery. Of course you won’t hear or read any of them that Obama says, so here are some Obamaisms from Barry:

Obama botches toast to Queen Elizabeth
Israel must be able to defend itself – by itself – against any threat“.

WH gripes that immigration debate too often uses caricatures after Obama says, “Maybe they’ll need a moat.”

White House issues Earth Day proclamation, skips Easter

Can’t name a mistake at townhall in which he made three in one sentence

Accuses GOP of trying to hurt seniors after lecturing them not to demagogue on entitlement reform

“If you’re complaining about the price of gas and you’re only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know, you might want to think about a trade-in.”

Obama accepts his transparency award in secret, no-press meeting.

“War” first changed to “kinetic military action,” then “time-limited, scope-limited military action”

Obama telling people it would be easier to be President of China because “No one is scrutinizing Hu Jintao’s words in Tahrir Square.”

Obama tells group that there is a “subterranean” racially-based agenda in opposition to his presidency

Ferry for Americans in Libya comes three days late — and with a bill for passengers
WH says Obama not addressing Libya because of “scheduling issue“

After saying he hadn’t followed the Wisconsin issue, says Walker’s plan “seems like more of an assault on unions.”

Businesses have “obligation” to create jobs and “pay decent wages”

After losing verdict on first ever federal mandate to purchase private-sector product, accuses judge of “overreach”

Obama bogarts Newt Gingrich’s book title for his “Winning the Future” SOTU speech
2009 Nobel Peace Prize winner holds state dinner for man who has 2010 winner under house arrest

After telling Boehner and McConnell that “there will be plenty of time to campaign for 2012 in 2012,”announces March start to re-election bid

“I really want to figure out a way where I can spend more time outside of Washington listening and learning and engaging the American people.”

Vice Pres Biden Calls for Impeachment for Obama!

“I want to make it clear. And I made it clear to the President that if he takes this nation to war with Iran without Congressional approval. I will make it my business to impeach him. That’s a fact. That is a fact.”

Well, not quite. Obama has attacked a nation with no congressional approval. Bush attacked Iraq with congressional approval. Of course the Dems then tried and said everything they could to make sure the effort was a failure once they voted for it. Bush got congressional approval for Afghanistan too.

Of course Joe "The Mouth" Biden is falling all over himself defending Obama's unconstitutional action against Libya now.

Charity, Church, Stimulus Bill, Faith Based Initiative- An Unholy Alliance Between Church and State

GW Bush began the faith based initiative and I was dubious that it was a good idea. I’ve come to the conclusion it must be banned. Remove the legislation. We must not let the government have any say, none, in how religious institutions take care of people. Money from the government comes with strings. The strings are connected to hellish legislation, rules and controls.

Those create corruption. We don’t want secular State corruption infecting the Church. Some of the (non) “stimulus” money went to churches; they took it for themselves and not for charity works.  Castleton United Methodist Church in Indianapolis got “stimulus” and “faith based” money and bought a new heating and cooling system for their church. The Church of St. Laurence O'Toole in Laramie, WY, bought new windows for a school it runs. About $140 million has gone to religious organizations that can be accounted for.

Catholic Charities USA has received about $50 million so far. According to Recovery.gov, Catholic organizations and churches have received about $90 million, Protestant organizations and churches about $45 million, and Jewish synagogues and organizations about $6 million. Do any of these organizations think the government putting taxpayer money in will not come back to bite them?

There still are some conservatives saying, as they did when faith based legislation was introduced, they are afraid there would be religious discrimination that would send money to secular charities in disproportionate amounts. Not an issue. Religious organizations do get an equal share, and secular governmental controls come with it. That’s a threat to freedom of religion.

Some rules: If getting government dollars religious organizations may not force recipients to participate in explicit religious activity. I thought one of the primary missions of the Church was to introduce and bring people to God. If one teaches and talks about God, Christ, the Church, it must be done separately from the charity service. I’m sure there are other rules sitting quietly on the guidelines for more government control in the future. The only religious leaders I’m finding supporting all this are Liberals. This is a scary day when I have to agree with the Statist, Secularist, anti Christian bigot leader of  Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, Barry Lynn, though for different reasons. He’s anti religion (even though he claims to be a minister) and pro government, and is against this because it violates his separation of Church and State misunderstanding.

I’m against the Faith Based Initiative and using “stimulus” money in religious organizations because the government will use it to control. A lot of the money from this is being funneled through various government environmental agencies for “green projects”; weather proofing churches and community environmental programs. What does this have to do with reaching out to the poor, to prisoners, the sick and dying? Nothing, except to get religious organizations to do the bidding of the State.

We get tax free status from the government. That should be the financial basis, along with tithing, for charitable works. Billions of dollars here at home and abroad help billions of the suffering. Anytime government gets involved we will get all the controls and corruption that comes with it. We have enough sin in our own house to deal with; we don’t need government intervention to exacerbate that reality.

Three Presidents on Vacation

Well, Which Is It?

From one of the racist leaders of the NAACP, which use to be a civil rights organization. Did he or didn't he?

Another example of saying two different things about one thing:
Radical Statist and racist Clintonista Paul Begala, primary propagandist for the Democrat Party, defending all the vacations and golf outings of our lazy incompetent president, said Bush took a lot of vacations, but he didn't critize him for doing so.

Now: "I thought it was silly when people attacked Bush for going on vacation, so I'll be consistent and say it's silly when people attack President Obama for going on vacation."
Then: "It's no surprise if you've been losing sleep over what's been going on in the White House. The Better Sleep Council wanted to find out which candidate would make people lose more sleep over the next four years.

"Their ingenious poll of registered voters shows that President Bush has a 42-40 percent edge as the one who would lead you to have more sleepless nights. Well, the good news for President Bush is they did choose him, as well, as Commander in Sleep. Forty-four percent say he seems the more well rested candidate of the two.

Probably because he spends so much time on vacation, Gary? I don't know." [October 11, 2004]

About the golf outings. Bush during his presidency played 24 rounds of golf. He quit playing in October 2003, saying it was out of respect for families of servicemen killed in Iraq. His vacations by the way, were more often than not working vacations spent at his ranch. He usually had his staff with him, and fulfilled all his presidential duties there, same as if he were at the White House. His ranch is a genuine working ranch, where they do real honest to God ranch work. He went there to do ranching stuff, with the fully functioning western White House there.

So far, in less than two years, the Bamster has played 41 rounds of golf, nearly all of them the full 18 holes. That's more than 200 hours of golf. That's about twenty five eight-hour work days. That's five work weeks. He's been golfing ten times since the disaster in the golf. He's taken long weekends vacationing in Asheville, North Carolina and Chicago, Illinois. This weekend he's going to a little resort town in Mount Desert Island, Maine. A lot of citizens that had been saving up to vacation there have been bumped from their rooms, and the quiet restful town will be an unrestful mess.

Nero set Rome on fire and blamed the Christians. Looks like Obama has set America on fire and blames Conservatives and the Republican Party. There were of course, no fiddles for Nero to play while Rome burned, so perhaps we can change the phrase to 'Obama played golf while America burned'.

It's Bush's Fault the Gores Have Split Up!

The oil leak in the Gulf is being blamed on Bush and Cheney, out of power for a year and a half, and Cheney hasn't had anything to do with the oil industry for nearly a decade. The economic situation is blamed on Bush, by Obama, Dems, and slobbering sycophantic press, even though Bush has been out of power for so long. Actually the crybaby Dems and Obama are blaming every setback, challenge and disaster on Bush.

With all that, the lap dog dinosaurs of the Jurassic Press, are now blaming Bush for the breakup of the Gores. How is that? you ask.

In what passes for news, and this is the Evening News on CBS, Sally Quinn (Washington Post) and alleged reporter Sharyl Attkisson determined that if Bush had not stolen the electoral votes (remember Gore won the popular vote), then, by George! (sorry, couldn't help myself), all that strain and stress on the marriage wouldn't have happened, and the Gores would be living happily ever after.

Attkisson: “...it's been ten years since that oddly public passionate kiss at the Democratic convention. That was followed by Gore winning the popular vote for President but losing the electoral vote. Family friend Sally Quinn says that may have done the marriage irreparable harm.”

Quinn: “He obviously suffered a lot and still is suffering. He'll never get over that and neither will she.”

True to Democrat, Statist, immature thinking, everything is everybody else's fault. To quote Bart Simpson, titular leader of the Democrat Party, "I didn't do it!"
