May each of you have the heart to conceive, the understanding to direct, and the hand to execute works that will leave the world a little better for your having been here. -- Ronald Reagan

How Could This Mismatch Even Be Under Consideration?

Most politicians are corrupt, vile, low life bottom sucking scoundrels. I think that bar has been lowered.

Take a look at Arizona Senate candidate Kyrsten Sinema.  'These women who act like staying at home, leeching off their husbands or boyfriends, and just cashing the checks is some sort of feminism because they're choosing to live that life.' “That’s bullshit. I mean, what the f*** are we really talking about here?” That she said in 2006. She called Conservatives ‘Neanderthals’. Nice.

Project Veritas has a tape of Sinema and her unfiltered thoughts. She’s for banning guns, yet denies it, open boarders, yet denies, has protested a lot against the policies of the US, said its okay if a person wants to join the Taliban and fight against Americans, and yet denies it. The denials come in form of challenging nuance of what she really met.

Arizona state troopers withdrew their endorsement. Much of what she says on the campaign trail is to present herself as a centrist, not the leftist radical she is. She’s lied about being homeless. She was in a poor home but had a home. She co-founded an anti war group Local to Global Justice. This group had a flyer in 2003 saying: ““You can help us push back U.S. terror in Iraq and the Middle East.” Another: "All out against Bush and he Fascist Imperialist War."

Yet she presents herself as pro military.

On the other hand, her opponent, Martha McSally, was a fighter pilot that has flown combat missions. She was a squadron commander that rose to Colonel before she retired after 26 years of service. Plus she fought for eight years to change the policy that US Servicewomen had to wear Muslim clothes off base. She has Master’s degrees in John F. Kennedy School of Government from Harvard and U.S. Air War College in Public Policy and Strategic Studies, where she was first in her class. Plus a whole bunch of other stellar accomplishments.

Compare that to Sinema’s Bachelor degree in Social Work and her membership in the Green Party, and in a 2002 article in the Arizona Republic denouncing capitalism.

I’m appalled that such a suspect person, anti-military, anti-capitalist, small achievements that misrepresents herself to move her public persona to the political/cultural center could be even considered and equal to a proven leader with many accomplishments under her belt. I mean, really, a leader and warrior in a flight suit vs an anti-American that dressed in a pink tutu to protest.
