Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

If you’re a Conservative, or worse yet Christian and Conservative, you are by definition sexist, racist, bigoted, narrow minded, and homophobic. Added to this vacuous charge, if you dare criticize anything Islam, Islamophobic.

There’s plenty of examples of this. There was Time magazine’s “Is America Islamophobic”? Of course they are, is the conclusion (while denying it’s their conclusion). Bobby Ghosh, who wrote the hit piece on regular mainstream American people, was brought on CNN to bring his intolerance and unfounded accusations to the small screen to be seen by the small minds that watch CNN. Ghosh has stated that criticism of the building of the Mosque of Triumph in New York City is hate speech.

“You don't have to be an Islamophobe to have reservations about this particular project. You don't have to be prejudiced to have very genuine concerns about it. But what we have seen in the process of this debate and about mosques- not just here in New York, but all over this country- is that there has been a vicious- some very vicious hate speech has entered the mainstream of discussion in this country, and that is- certainly, we are seeing some Islamophobic views being expressed by people who we wouldn't have expected it from- when you have legitimate political figures comparing the religion of Islam to Naziism. That is something on a scale that we have never seen before.”

Of course he doesn't provide any data to support the claim. He's a Leftist, so you just have to accept what he says as true.

The Washington Post’s religion writer, Michelle Boorstein, in a September article, alleged that most Americans know very little about Islam. Her inferred conclusion is that ignorance breeds the growing Islamophobia in America, and smarter more nuanced thinking people aren’t Islamophobic. Of course, you can only be smart and nuanced if you’re a Liberal.

Then there’s the ABC News Sunday morning talk show disaster Christiane Amanpour, who finds America distasteful at best, is an apologist for Islamic terror, murder and violence. She’s a nuanced thinking Leftist, so gets a pass.

“Time” magazine editor Time Editor Richard Stengel has often said that America is Islamophobic because we’re all a bunch of ignorant idiots. Stengal:  "I mean, the extent of the ignorance- where you parse Islamophobia versus ignorance of Islam, I'm not exactly sure. But there is tremendous ignorance of Islam as a religion."  I agree with only a portion of that statement, and will identify his ignorance of Islam as a religion.

Then there’s Chris Matthews. Nevermind.

None of these people have criticized Islam. The comedy channel pulled a South Park episode for having a satirical bit about Mohammed. Several cartoons have been pulled that had Mohammed in them. No comedians are making fun of Islam and Sharia Law. Of course Jesus and Christianity are fair game ad nauseam.  

We live in an upside down, inside out world, Phobia is a fear of something. Lots of people that criticize Islam are called out for being fearful of Muslims, of Islam. They’re Islamophobic. Yet they are the ones with the courage to speak, stand up to, and criticize.  

The people doing the name calling are afraid to criticize Muslims, or Sharia, or draw cartoons of Mohammed, or do comedy skits containing Mohammed. They don’t do these things out of fear.

I’ve got to ask. Who’s the Islamophobes?

Liberal or Conservative?

If a Conservative doesn't like guns, he doesn’t buy one.
If a Liberal doesn't like guns, he wants all guns outlawed.   

If a Conservative is a vegetarian, he doesn’t eat meat.
If a Liberal is a vegetarian, he wants all meat products banned for everyone.   

If a Conservative is homosexual, he quietly leads his life.
If a Liberal is homosexual, he demands legislated respect.   

If a Conservative is down-and-out, he thinks about how to better his situation.
A Liberal wonders who is going to take care of him.   

If a Conservative doesn't like a talk show host, he switches channels.
Liberals demand that those they don't like be shut down.   

If a Conservative is a non-believer, he doesn't go to church.
A Liberal non-believer wants any mention of God and religion silenced.

If a Conservative decides he needs health care, he goes about shopping for it, or may choose a job that provides it.
A Liberal demands that the rest of us pay for his.   

I also know that Liberals will deny they think this way, then pass legislation saying Liberals are really Conservative.

Nixon Had An Enemies List Too

On Obama's enemies list is Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin, insurance companies (ObamaCare destroys them), Wall Street, the military (months of refusing to listen to his generals on any military subject), Conservative Media, Malkin, Beck, and most recently Conservative and Libertarian bloggers. Nixon got in a lot of trouble targeting individuals and specific groups that opposed him. Obama will too. The White House using tax payer money to have a blog, and hiring political hatchet men and women to attack citizens and private organizations is over the top. The MSM attacked Nixon for doing this. Have you heard a word from them about Obama doing the same thing? No. And you won't.

The Dems, MSM and such are painting those as extremists, radical, being sent by 'K' Street, lobbyists...oh my god!!! it's a mob!!!! They must be stopped!!!! Being a conservative, I naturally spend an inordinate amount of time attempting to psychoanalyze left-wingers, trying to figure out what makes them tick. God knows I’m not bragging. It is, after all, time I could otherwise devote to alphabetizing my canned goods or trying to make contact with Harry Houdini, but I know from the large number of emails I receive that I’m not alone. The lunacy on the left is enough to turn a lot of us into little Sigmund Freuds.


For instance, why is it that lefties are so puzzled or pretend to be so puzzled that conservatives who are in favor of capital punishment are opposed to abortions -- particularly the 60,000 late-term abortions performed by the late unrepentant serial killer, George Tiller? Even a left-winger should be able to tell the difference between executing a cold-blooded murderer and sucking the brain out of an innocent little human being.

I’m wondering when the Mafia will officially ask for a government subsidy. Yes, I know it’s a criminal organization, but so is ACORN, which faces indictments for voter fraud in several states, and yet Obama and his Democratic cronies are funneling them millions of dollars.

Perhaps if liberals were merely wrong on all the issues, it would be easier to forgive them. But it’s their arrogance and self-righteous attitude that puts them beyond the pale. How often have we heard them claim that they’re being deprived of their right to free speech when what they’re actually complaining about isn’t censorship, but merely that a clear-thinking conservative has refuted some of their inane hogwash? Only liberals actually believe that if you disagree with them, you’re trampling on the 1st Amendment. For good measure, many of them -- including a number of pettifoggers in Congress -- are on an unholy mission to bring back the totalitarian device known as the Fairness Doctrine.

Speaking of fairness, I have come to see that Fox News is something like our own version of Radio Free Europe, getting the truth to those of us behind the Obama Curtain. What is ironic about the way that liberals carry on about TV Free America is that Fox has a large number of liberals on the payroll, including Greta Van Susteren, Bob Beckel, Geraldo Rivera, Alan Colmes, Chris Wallace, Juan Williams, Kirsten Powers and a few others, whereas CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, the NY Times and the Washington Post, collectively, have only one non-liberal on salary and that’s John Stossel, who doesn’t even identify himself as a conservative, but as a libertarian.

A question nobody has ever answered to my satisfaction is how it’s possible that media people such as David Corn, Eleanor Clift and Ellis Henican, who do nothing but parrot the same insipid DNC talking points as Charles Rangel, Barbara Boxer and Patrick Leahy, are able to make a decent living without at least having to run for office and win an election.

I’m not an expert on body language, but my attention has been called to the fact that when he was on the phone with Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu, President Obama was photographed with his feet on the desk in the Oval Office, and when he took his photo op tour of Auschwitz with Elie Wiesel, he had his hands in his pockets. Yet in the august presence of King Abdullah, he bowed respectfully.

Finally, we were told that the world’s leaders were going to cooperate with Barack Hussein Obama in a way they never had with his predecessor. Well, so far, they’ve all refused his invitation to send troops to Afghanistan and, just in case he didn’t get the message, they’ve all refused to take 241 Muslim terrorists off his hands.

Now, we have Newsweek’s managing editor, Evan Thomas, grandson of the former grand Poo Bah of the Socialist Party, Norman Thomas, telling us with a straight face that Obama is greater than God. It appears, however, that the world’s leaders don’t even think he’s greater than George W. Bush.
