Liz Cheney on Israeli Blockade, Obama's Response
“Yesterday, President Obama said the Israeli action to stop the flotilla bound for the Gaza Strip was “tragic.” What is truly tragic is that President Obama is perpetuating Israel’s enemies’ version of events. The Israeli government has imposed a blockade around Gaza because Hamas remains committed to Israel’s destruction, refusing to recognize Israel’s right to exist and using territory under their control to launch attacks against Israeli civilians. The Israeli blockade of Gaza, in order to prevent the re-arming of Hamas, is in full compliance with international law. Had the Turkish flotilla truly been interested in providing humanitarian aid to Gaza, they would have accepted the Israeli offer to off-load their supplies peacefully at the Israeli port of Haifa for transport into Gaza. President Obama is contributing to the isolation of Israel, and sending a clear signal to the Turkish-Syrian-Iranian axis that their methods for ostracizing Israel will succeed, and will be met by no resistance from America. There is no middle ground here. Either the United States stands with the people of Israel in the war against radical Islamic terrorism or we are providing encouragement to Israel’s enemies—and our own. Keep America Safe calls on President Obama to reverse his present course and support the state of Israel immediately and unequivocally.” ~~ Liz Cheney Keep America Safe

Humanitarian Israel vs Palestinian Terror
The Dems, UN, international Jurassic Press, Statist leaders world wide, are condemning Israel for their actions with the blockade. You know, the one where a bunch of Islamofascist activists tried to run the blockade, and, horror of horrors, the Israeli defense forces went in with paint guns. The point these Islamofascists were trying to make is that Israel is trying to block humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Really? In the last 18 months over a million tons of aid have gone into Gaza through Israel, even with all the security measures. That comes to about ton of stuff for every man, woman and child in Gaza.
Really? 738,000 tons of food and supplies were received in Gaza in 2009.
Really? January-March of this year: 94,500 tons of supplies received, including 48,000 tons of food products; 40,000 tons of wheat; 2,760 tons of rice; 1,987 tons of clothes and footwear; 553 tons of milk powder and baby food.
Really? During Muslim high holy days, Israel increases the supply flow.
Really? Palestinians get essentially free medical care from Israel. At the crossings between Israel and Gaza, there are about 200 medical staff to take care of Palestinians. 10,544 patients were taken care of at these locations in 2009. $3 million in medical aid is provided yearly to Palestinians by The Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem. About 4,883 tons of medical equipment and medicine were gifted to Gaza in 2009. Palestinians get the same subsidized health care as Israeli citizens.
Really? About 70% of electrical power is provided by Israel to Gaza.
Really? Israel supplies and maintains sewage treatment and water purification in Gaza.
Really? Nearly all school supplies and education needs are provided by Israel.
Once again, the UN shows its Antisemitism with its condemnation of Israel and the incident with the blockade, along with most of Europe, and most unfortunately, our president.
In return, Palestinians send terrorists, suicide bombers, mortar rounds and rockets. In return Palestinians get UN support and Israel gets condemnation.
A true statement: If Hamas, PLO, the rest of the Palestinian supported terror groups laid down their weapons there would be peace. If Israel laid down its weapons, there would be no more Israel.
