In addition to this, the Statists (Dems) are trying to pass legislation to get union pension funds covered by taxpayers. If union pension fund managers make bad investments, and lose money in those funds, taxpayers will foot the bill for the bad investments. Of course the Statists proposing this have done nothing to help private sector pension funds to this extent. But they care about regular folks. They do! Really! Just ask them, they'll tell ya. (No, I'm not advocating gov't funds to help any pensions, just making the point.)
