May each of you have the heart to conceive, the understanding to direct, and the hand to execute works that will leave the world a little better for your having been here. -- Ronald Reagan

Tribute to Paul Harvey

I can't ever remember not listening to Paul Harvey. He was a true journalist, story teller, and one of the most influential people in the history of radio. He passed today at the age of 90.

He was known for his shows, “Paul Harvey News” and “The Rest of the Story.”

He began his show with, “Hello, Americans,” . “You know what the news is. In a minute, you're going to hear the rest of the story.”

Each broadcast ended with a human-interest story with a surprise
ending, and his trademark extended pregnant pause: “Paul Harvey ... ...
Good Day!”

Paul Harvey -- "Good Day" we'll miss you... RIP
