Too much ...I like Dennis a lot, but I don't agree.

Too much of anything can be bad, but being too forgiving just isn't a general problem in this country. Just like we can be too selfless, most people are nowhere near the dangerous point. In fact we're much more likely to be too selfish. Same in this case, we're much more likely to be too unforgiving.

So even if there are cases of people being too forgiving, the world can use more examples that push people as a whole to forgive more.

Also, if Dennis wants to claim that we have no right to forgive a murderer, then we have no right to be angry either. If we have a right to be angry at a sin committed against someone else, we can forgive the sinner as well.Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16582489305822283424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1750536989922769009.post-67129339855429395632009-03-01T12:33:00.000-08:002009-03-01T12:33:00.000-08:00"The rise of the theology of automatic "forgivenes... "The rise of the theology of automatic "forgiveness" is only one more sign of the decline of traditional religiosity and morality."

I completely and totally agree with Dennis Prager.S.R.
